Wonderful place in the hills for lunch. The wild boar and homemade crisps were excellent. House red was gutsy. View? See photo

Excellent food and service. Beautiful location which is great for a picture of the sunset over the hills. Arrived without a booking but it was not a problem. Traditional food available (stews of lamb, chicken or seafood) all served at the table. Other tables shared theirs, great for families or couples. Entrées were good and inexpensive, chees, salami, olives, bread, butter and pate.

Very delicious and typical dishes from this area! Meet and fish dishes all tasty. Paulo is a very friendly host and gives you great tourist tips if you ask him! Full recommendation also for the view from the garden tables.

Avoid this place ! 1) There is no menu given to you, available 5-6 dishes told by rude waiter in 30 seconds, you don't know their prices, their ingredients, nothing and you are rushed to order. 2) The waiter brings without asking bread, olives, butter & pate as couvert, we only ate bread & olives but have been charged 5,4 euros, when reacted no one cared. 3) The food is lousy, nothing like the good country cooking, heavy, greasy, small portions with accompanying supermarket packed potato crisps! 4) The waiter rushes you to pay the bill, when there are other tables yet dining, he brings the bill without asking, wants us to pay because he says he will go to eat!!! 5) The worst part, we give creditcard for payment, he asks to pay in cash! We refuse and want him to charge the creditcard, he brings a machine and starts charging several times saying its not working well. We give different cards, same story, cannot charge and insists he has seen money in our wallets and wants the cash!. 6) When reacted to his bad behaviour, he goes ugly, starts to shout bad for tourists, disturbs other tables aswell. 7) As a customer, we felt shocked to have such a scene, other tables apologised on his behalf but no one from restaurant even came to ssy a word which is ashame of menthality & behaviour in a restaurant within such a nice natural setting which becomes impossible to enjoy!!! Go there if you want to have similar ugly experiences & headaches !
