The Best Greek Islands to Visit in 2025 | Condé Nast Traveler

"A Fiskardo harbor fixture on Kefalonia where celebrity sightings are common but the draw is steadfast: generous, satisfying dinners by the water." - Katie Silcox, Rachel Howard

We were 7, I had the grilled squid and it was very tasty, sincerely I would order it again. Everything from the table was looking delicious, what caught my eye was the fried calamari, they were very crunchy. The serving was alright, the restaurant was busy so it is understandable, the waiter was a little arrogant or tired, he was a little off, but everyone can have a bad day. I would eat there again and the view was really nice!

Food was very good quality. Fish of the day was delicious. Prawn risotto was excellent. Service was hostile even for Greek speaking guests. The restaurant suffers from its own success. Too busy and not very inviting. Quite pretentious. The staff behave as if you are lucky to be there. Overall an ok night with a hefty bill at the end of it all.

We had an incredible dinner at Tassia on our trip to Fiskardo. The food and atmosphere were both incredible and we enjoyed people watching while eating our dinner! We did make a reservation and it was busy, so would recommend making a reservation, especially during busy summer hours.

This was probably the nicest restaurant I went to. However the prices are still about the same as everywhere else. It's gotten very good reviews on other sites, and I was not disappointed. I try to get the fresh fish at every place I go in Greece and this has the best fresh fish that I've had. Other dishes were good as well, including the pasta. You must try the Kefalonia meat pie. Unfortunately, the photo doesn't do it justice, as most of the restaurant consists of outside seating... Reservations will make placement easier....

The food is very delicious but the price is expensive like all restaurants in the area. Pasta pesto excellent!

Sea bass was good but not great. Pita wasn’t nice, and tzatziki needed more of everything, more garlic more cucumber more oil more salt. Fried calamari was excellent though, as was linguine with clams.

Food: i had a starter & Sea bass filet with veg. All were perfectly prepared. Delicious. Wait staff: very good except 1 who treated me brusquely & made it clear he did not want me there. When I asked about coffee & dessert, he said there was only espresso & baklava left. I said fine, & ordered it. But 15 minutes later I saw him serve a a cappuccino & 2 completely different deserts to other tables. I was not rude to him & am a quiet person. I was eating alone - maybe he didn't like that? I don't know. Dinner w/1 beer & desert: 50 euros (including 5 euro tip). Note: outdoor seating only (cold & raining the night I was there. Brits don't mind the chill as much, but I'm from the subtopics. Burr! Oct 2025)

I spent 7 nights in Fiskardo and tried a different restaurant every night; this was the only bad dining experience I had - this place lives off its name as the oldest restaurant in Kefalonia; nothing else is good, absolutelt terrible service. The staff are dripping in sweat; they look like they just got out the sea and could keel over onto the table and pass out any minute - they are being worked horribly by the owners! you cannot attract anyones attention as they are so under staffed. We ordered this Mediterranean mezze for starter - £15 and it arrived with this ONE measly cardboard peice of pita bread, lol! I have no idea who the very large gentleman at the front is, if he is the owner, perhaps he should consider helping his staff out instead of trying to chat up anyone who looks like they came off a yacht, and as for the yappy receptionist, busy doing nothing. We cancelled our mains and went to fish restaurant where the staff were relaxed, attentive and the food was gorgeous. Avoid!
