It is what it is: a hostel for backpackers. If you're staying in the dormitory style rooms, it's cheaper but funky. Yes, squeaky beds. Yes, not perfectly clean. Yes, noisy at night. I heard the private bedroom accommodations are a step up, and many of them have their own floor to escape noise. For the price and location, not bad overall. The "free wifi" thing is a bummer (250MB doesn't do much), but there are other options nearby at coffeeshops/etc. The bar/restaurant downstairs is nice though. I'd stay again if on a budget.
