Amazing food, the valentines day special dinner for 2 is a must have experience. Highly recommend. Espresso is really good as well if you like good coffee instead of brown water like Starbucks or 7 brew serves. They have a pastry section as well where you can buy packs of waffles, cookies, etc etc.

I chose this restaurant because I have been to Belgium and really wanted a taste of Belgian food. The food was good in service, presentation, price and portions. However minus the fries the menu had me craving some Belgian staples. It’s a very Americanized menu everything seemed to be scratch cooked however I was really hoping for something like mussels and fries ( only available at dinner) many of the items I had come for were on the dinner menu but the website did not say that they were not available until after 4 pm. When asked if we could order off the dinner menu we were advised this isn’t allowed. We ordered- mussels gratin ( this was cooked perfectly and a good replacement for the PROVENÇALE mussels I longed for. The frieten were good and were the star of the meal. The pretzels and cheese were a little disappointing we asked our waitress about the pretzels and she said they are baked fresh down the street however they were basically glorified garlic knots. The cheese sauce was delicious and would have stood up better to a more traditional pretzel. My husband ordered a meatball sandwich with Belgian sauce the bread was well baked but the meatballs were minimal and sliced in half. Lastly they had a good beer selection but lacked Kreik or Mort Subite which is a true Taste of Belgium. Overall I would go back for dinner next time if I’m in the city. I wish this restaurant would consider adding some of the more traditional items to the day menu or letting people order off the dinner menu as many restaurants do as it is truely what someone who loves Belgian food may come for.

I am in town for work, and ordered from here via Uber so I can't speak to the service and atmosphere but based on my experience in town I'm confident both would have been pleasant. I tried the banana and Nutella crepe, a s'mores waffle, and a s'mores toastie. None were good. The crepe was the kind where the whole thing is a uniform consistency which then evokes a rubber-like feeling. It was not tough or chewy, but neither was it light, airy, nor delicately crisp. While this may have been due to having it delivered, there was notably not much golden-browning on the surface. The Nutella was... odd. One bite it was there, another bite it was not. It seemed like the Nutella was supplemented with a chocolate sauce that did not stand up to the strong, distinct hazelnut flavor. This may be a fault of the menu, or a fault on my part in my expectations, but the waffle was not an eggy, custard-like, fluffy, fresh Belgian waffle but instead a Belgian sugar waffle. Sugar waffles last longer and are more transportable. They are also small, firm and dense and gross if overheated. The mascarpone-marshmallow topping had no mascarpone flavor. The chocolate sauce may as well have come out of a Torani squirt bottle. Which would have been fine at a major American chain or on ice cream, but the photos and overall feel of this place suggest a greater elevation of cooking. The "toastie" had no description on the website or on Uber, save for being categorized as "Tomorrow's Breakfast," which made me think it was a fancy pop tart. It was not. Frankly it is enormous, easily 6" long. Rather than pastry, it is more like a fried short bread. And by that I mean it smelled like it had been deep-fried, but shortbread being as dry as it is, I could not tell you it tasted deep-fried. It was dry and mildly chewy and I only ate far enough to make sure there was chocolate in the middle. If I were nearby or in town long enough, I would have tried other things on the menu or asked them to remake my crepe to see if my experience was a one-off. Given the lack of forewarning about the choice to serve a topped sugar waffle rather than a fresh one off of an iron, and the undetectable marscapone, I felt confident leaving my review as it is.

Went early in the day on a Tuesday and there was only a few people dining! This was back when the weather was nicer so we were able to eat outside. Our server was super great and the food was yummy :) great and affordable option for brunch 👍🏽

Service was good Nice beer list but some where sold out Really liked the fries! Chicken was ok however the waffle (the second part of their signature dish) was very dry and tasteless

Google
I recently visited Taste of Belgium, hoping to enjoy a nice meal given all the rave reviews, but my experience was far from pleasant. I ordered the chicken sandwich, expecting something flavorful and satisfying. Instead, I received a bland, unseasoned chicken slapped between two pieces of bread. The chicken was dry and tasteless, clearly lacking any effort in seasoning or preparation. It felt like I was eating cardboard. The sandwich was so disappointing that I wondered how this place has garnered many great reviews. The only meal edible was the new Nicoise Salad. The tuna was excellent, and the salad tasted fresh. I'm still determining if I caught them on an off day, but my experience was enough to deter me from returning. I think you should look elsewhere if you're looking for a flavorful and enjoyable meal. Overall, the service at Taste of Belgium was abysmal.

So apparently on Saturday morning, you can’t make a reservation and it would been just nice to know that so we got there super early trying to get a table, but it was totally not necessary. We thought there might be a line. I had the chicken and waffles and I think that might’ve been some of the best fried chicken I’ve had in a long time very flavorful, the waffles are very dense, but that’s the style. My boyfriend had that breakfast burrito that was made in a crêpe and he quite enjoyed it is that the tasty was very tasty.

My wife and I went here for breakfast on our last day in the Over the Rhine area, and it was such a nice meal to end our trip with. I got the breakfast plate with waffle, eggs, potatoes and goetta. It was all super tasty. The waffle was a bit on the crunchy side, but still very flavorful. The breakfast potatoes were exceptionally good, with delicious caramelized onions. My wife had the over the top waffle, and loved it. I had a taste as well and really enjoyed the lemon curd. The bottomless Belgian coffee was also very good. Overall, a great place for a good breakfast.

Yelp
It was very good I had the chicken & waffles. Yummy!! Are they back in Columbus??? The service & ambience was good. By the way, they only take credit card in Cincinnati.

Crystal B.

Yelp
Great food, very cute atmosphere, service was great. Their chicken is top tier and Brussel sprouts are amazing!

Haylee M.

Yelp
Canr came here after having a really good recommendations from a friend and the place really lived up to the hype. Husband and I got a salad and the chicken and waffle plate. Not going to lie. Everything on the menu looked extremely delicious and extremely creative so it was hard to make a choice here. Garden Salad - Added some Grilled Chicken to the salad and it was actually quite a good one. Ingredients were all fresh and went really well together. Didn't even need to add much dressing to it. Eckerlin goetta - We ordered this on the side because its one of the must try items in Cincinnati. Quite a unique flavor and texture, but actually something I would recommend trying. The Fried Chicken went believeably well with that Waffle. No wonder it's one of the popular dishes! The biggest highlight for me was that waffle. I don't know what it was with that waffle but it was a different type of Belgian waffle which was dense and cakey with a little bit of sugary crust outside and it was so so so beautiful. I noticed that they sell some waffles to go as well and little gift bags and that ready would be a nice thing to take for home or even to give someone. Could not recommend this food more! Only reason I'm taking off a point here is the service was extremely slow. We had to call them a couple times to add something on and had to actually follow up and ask where it was. Same thing with asking for an extra waffle where they just took so long even though it was quite a simple thing to bring out.

Yelp
Taste of Belgium is a great choice for almost any meal! The restaurant is fun with a playful atmosphere, colorful decor, and a generous seating plan broken up by a wrap around bar in the center. It is relaxed and informal, for sure. Famous for their waffles, I had to have one! I opted for the fried chicken and waffle and was not disappointed! It may look a little small, but it was filling and flavorful. The drink menu wasn't overly long or complicated, but there were several great options. Our server was top notch! She handled our table of 8 (no waiting at dinner, BTW) with ease!

Alanie N.

Yelp
We're visiting from out of town and decided to do brunch on a Friday, we wanted somewhere that was going to do cocktails and this was a great option! There was plenty of parking for us and the restaurant wasn't terribly busy. The espresso was great, and I ordered a pumpkin espresso martini as well. It wasn't my favorite but honestly I can't quite put my finger on why I didn't love it. We got the Frites and dips and the fries were AMAZING. I then ordered the Beltucky Hot Brown and it was great! The candied bacon was a little much for me but other than that I loved it! Service was also great so all in all I would definitely recommend this place for people visiting!

Yelp
This is a spot we heard was also very good to try during our girls trip . We are glad we did the food was good . The only mishap they didn't have night glasses for the flights that some of us wanted for the mimosa flight they have on there menu but they did attempt to make the adjustment with providing one flavor in a large container . A very tall gentleman checked on us and was very nice not sure what his name was. Our waitress Sofia was a very bubbly and sweet young lady .

Michelle L.

Yelp
Met our cousin for lunch. Our waitress, Natalie was very sweet, patient, and friendly. My husband and I shared the chicken and waffles. And the the special Lemon poppyseed dessert waffle with lemon curd, and lemon whipped cream. So good! I loved the decor too.

Tram N.

Yelp
The two dish we order are good. A very interesting take on waffle. The chicken & waffle combo have a salad on the side with blue cheese, you can also dip the chicken and waffle in hot sauce or maple syrup, leaving the combo a hot and sweet taste. The egg Benedict on the other hand is a combo of sweet waffle with ham, so this is a slightly sweet and salty combination. But the service is truly lacking, there are multiple occasion where we have to called a random server to ask for service, from serving water, to ask to get order, and even for a check we have to personally search for someone. Overall, I wish we didn't have to keep looking around for someone..

Lisa H.

Yelp
We came across this place walking in Over the Rhine. We were so glad we chose to eat here. Everything was delicious that we tried. The chicken and waffles were our favorite. What a great brunch spot even though they are open into the evening for dinner. This is the first Belgium restaurant we've ever been to. We also tried a southwestern turkey waffle sandwich. The waffle really makes it instead of bread and frites. We also tried a few craft cocktails all were winners as any brunch spot should have. Definitely will return here if in the area.

Yelp
I liked my cold brew iced coffee this morning . It was 6 bucks for a medium glass , which was painful , but to be honest I didn't want the glass of coffee to end . Give them a try

Yelp
Stopped into TOB for a quick bite after exploring OTR, and was suprised to see it basically empty. It was a Saturday afternoon, but it just felt too empty. We tried the Meatball and Frites and a smores waffle and both were yummy but nothing extraordinary. They did have a good amount of lite bites and appetizers to choose from which was nice as most restaurants have very limited options when it comes to that sort of thing.

Teresa M.

Yelp
Great breakfast! Not a burrito, breakfast plate, waffle breakfast sandwich and Nordic Benny. All were very good! Their guacamole for the burrito was spicy good! The Nordic benny had great lemony hollandaise!! Highly recommend! It took awhile for our food to come out, don't know if that was an anomaly or not. If it weren't that we had an appointment to make, it would have been easier...we just felt some stress as time ticked away

Allison H.

Yelp
A Cincinnati Classic! There is truly no other chicken and waffle experience like the Taste of Belgium one. Quite literally the best C&W I have ever had and it is also so consistant. The perfect amount of breading, the hot sauce and syrup combo and the most delicious petit side salad. Service is always good and the ambiance is what I would describe as slightly upscale but friendly! 10/10 recommend!

Christy C.

Yelp
Good brunch spot that we like to come to from time to time. I like to get a salad and add fried chicken to it. Their fried chicken is really good, and great with their chicken and waffles too. The dining room can get pretty loud, so come prepared to speak up and repeat yourself in conversations and when ordering. We especially had trouble hearing when servers were assembling silverware right behind our table during our most recent visit. Their drinks aren't bad, but a little watered down or heavy on the juice sometimes, so I prefer sticking to beer and wine here so I know what I'm getting. Make sure to get a reservation in advance for weekend brunches and be prepared to wait for slower service during busy hours. The servers are all doing multiple jobs like making coffee in between helping guests, so it can be hard for them to keep up.

Allison M.

Yelp
Ehhh it was pretty good. My issue is for a place known for waffles the waffle was dry and not very good. I recommend their non waffle food items :)

Al B.

Yelp
Service was wonderful! It was a hopping place but overall everything came outa at a good place! Casual dining but enjoyable place to have breakfast. Sides were very cold but food was delicious!

Talia D.

Yelp
Came here on a Friday night, not too busy and we were seated quickly. Our waitress was also really nice and knowledgeable about the menu, answering any questions that we may have had regarding the food, cocktails, or beer. The restaurant itself had a nice ambiance too it, as it was clean, nicely lit, just an overall really nice atmosphere to the place. The food however was pretty lackluster. I ordered the salmon and while it came out plated nicely and looked delicious, it unfortunately lacked any flavor. My mom got the black bean burger and said it lacked flavor as well. My sister, however, did get their menu favorite chicken and waffles and she said that it was really good. I did have a bite of her chicken and it was pretty flavorful, seems like the lack of flavor from the other meals went into her chicken! I probably would not return here unless a group I'm with really wanted to try it out.

Bri K.

Yelp
We stopped in for a quick drink despite everyone telling us how amazing the waffles were (if only we hadn't had brunch so recently!). We sat at the bar and service was great. We have 2 others with us that wanted tequila and the server was very helpful at figuring that out at a place mostly advertising beers. It's a cute space and I loved the Delirium elephants - how fitting!

Ingrid H.

Yelp
Nice breakfast spot with pretty good food. We were seated quickly and our server was attentive and friendly. Most of our party ordered the chicken and waffle. I opted for the breakfast plate. I prefer the southern style breakfast potatoes with onions and green peppers, but their house version was okay. Everything was fresh and the favorite item on my plate was the freshly baked croissant.

Michael C.

Yelp
Man, I was really hoping this place would perform a lot better. I was extremely disappointed in my entire experience here. We walked in and were the first customers there. We were handed a brunch menu which you'd think would be okay considering they just opened at 10 am and it was 10 am. It was still morning! We then order our coffees. It took super long to get our coffee. When it was brought out, the lattes were made cold when they were ordered warm and the mocha was hot when ordered cold. Then when we all had our heart set on an item, as we started to order, the waiter looked at us and told us that we were given the wrong menu. They meant to give us the lunch menu....again it's 10 am. Then the manager came by to tell us about what just happened, and she didn't really apologized, she just told us it is what it is and basically told us to suck it up. This threw me for a whirl. She was not good at managing, when you open a store, you should make sure your first customers are treated just like your last, and vice versa. Consistency and generosity matters in this industry. The waiter was just flat out awful. I felt bad for the guy, he was all over the place and simply had no personality whatsoever. After receiving the new menus, which had a couple of breakfast items, we ordered. It wasn't until after we ordered that we got our waters. I mean come on. I finessed and got a bacon burger with an egg on top. It was pretty good. The bun was nice and the egg was cooked well. The burger was cooked a little too much in my opinion. The fries were mid. They were salted nicely but not crunchy enough. The aioli was very good. It was a good dipper for the burger. The breakfast potatoes were meh. I wish it had more seasoning but I liked the addition of the onions. It added a diner style feel to it. The waffle Benedict was pretty good as well. The waffle was very sweet though. I thought it was cooked nicely and the hollandaise was serviceable. The arugula on the side was simply for decoration and inedible. The ham did its part but nothing special by any means. Overall like I said, this place disappointed on almost every level. I won't be coming back here and would like to spend my money elsewhere. Pricing was a little steep for lunch. I want to give this place one star but the food wasn't terrible and it was fresh. 2/5 stars for me here. Very disappointed.

Dave J.

Yelp
Here's the deal : Great spot on Vine. Only been for breakfast, so I can't speak to their other options! I had the Belgium waffle with Ricotta, lemon and fresh berries ! It was delicious!! Good for a group as well. Sever was helpful and attentive!

Amber-Sky S.

Yelp
Stayed at an airbnb right above the restaurant in OTR and picked up chicken and waffles here twice in the 4.5 days I was in Cincinnati. The chicken is kind of thin and crispy, which I loved, and the waffle was super tasty. We also had the mac and cheese the first night, which was also good. I drank a pint of their German blonde beer while I waited for the food to be ready and that was good too. I came back again just for the chicken and waffles and the waffles had just been made. As much as I liked it the first time, was somehow even better the second time around. Highly recommend. If I'm ever in Cincy again, I'll definitely be stopping by both here and Losanti.

Deonna E.

Yelp
There isn't a bad item on this menu. With that being said, anyone who enjoys waffles and a burger needs to order the bistro burger! It was absolutely amazing, including the sauce it came with. TOB definitely lives up to its reputation.

Tammi W.

Yelp
Went to Taste of Belgium. Had the Belgian Cuban waffle sandwich with fries. Pretty good. Neat little place in nicely developed area of downtown city.

Coco R.

Yelp
I was quite disappointed while visiting from California the service at the bar was not very good. Delay in cleaning of the bar -ordering- to waiting almost 25 minutes for our food. When our order arrived it was cold. Beyond infuriating when I ordered coffee I had to use my knife bc the bartender stated she didn't have small spoons. So did the gentleman next to me....

Jay W.

Yelp
Just went to this restaurant for third and last time. Both previous experiences were mediocre but it was Monday so limited choices, hungry and pressed for time. To begin with all beer taps were down. Not a big deal. Had a bottled beer. Ordered fish sandwich which comes with fries. When it arrived, after too long a wait the meal was cold. Well, heat lamp warm anyway. The fish was half the size of the bun. Sent the fries back. Give minutes later the fries arrived hot but limp and the fry oil needed changing. I will never be back but if you must eat there my friend said the Buddy Bowl was good.

Christina B.

Yelp
Took a trip to Cincinnati from Indy just to go to Jungle Jims and find a place in the "Over the Rhine" section of town to eat... ended up stumbling on this as we were walking through town... so glad we chose this restaurant cause it was great! It was pretty busy about only took a few minutes to get seated...service was good and restaurant seemed pretty clean. The chicken and waffles that they're known for was awesome and our group ordered the Mac and cheese which was great...and of course the waffles with the Ohio maple syrup are delish! We plan on returning for sure and it would be great if they would open one of these close to Indianapolis!

Brooke R.

Yelp
Guy Fieri has never led me astray. And this brunch was no different! We made a reservation a week in advance, and that was definitely necessary since this seems like a popular spot before heading to the game. The food was good with unique flavors mixed together. The service was friendly, but a little chaotic. Overall it was a good brunch and I'm glad I tried it!

Gemma S.

Yelp
A classic brunch spot! I came here this past weekend with a friend to check out the OTR location, as I hadn't been to this one specifically. It was great! We were seated quickly despite it being busy, and we received our coffee drinks right away. My friend ordered the TOB latte, which was delicious. The candied orange and mocha flavor is a super interesting combination to hear about for a latte, but one that immediately impresses. I will definitely have to go back and get it! They also have a new baked brie, which we decided to split. Sooo good. It has walnuts included, so it has some extra sweetness to it. I got the chicken and waffles too for my main course, which is an absolute staple here. The OTR location was really bright and welcoming too. The window panels let in a lot of light, so the atmosphere is really warm and inviting for anyone and everyone. Definitely a really good spot to go to with friends for brunch or a meal!

Daniel O.

Yelp
Great breakfast or brunch spot. Different flavors to traditional American breakfast! Definitely recommend if you are in the area.

Christina T.

Yelp
To be honest, this breakfast was a little underwhelming for the price. We made a reservation and were seated right away. The service was adequate and no problems there. For a Belgium restaurant, we were excited about the waffles. They were hard as a rock. They were obviously not made fresh. We saw the lady grab them out and just heat them up. This was disappointing to say the least. Our party ordered the s'more waffle, the mcwaffle, the waffle Benedict and the breakfast plate. The waffle on the breakfast plate was inedible because it was so hard. The frites were just regular fries which was fine. The breakfast potatoes were the best thing about the meal. The kids breakfast plate was a great portion and to be honest more food than the other meals. The waffle latte and the honey lavender latte were good. Just overall not the best option for the price.

Jon W.

Yelp
We went to this newer spot after taking back a UC student. The space was clean and inviting. We were quickly seated and given menus and greeted by the bartender that had our section. Since this was our first visit we were pretty slow and asked many questions. She was great and patient with our group. The waffle, smaller than a traditional by half, that is the base for many of the breakfast items is a combination of waffle and biscuit. It is crunchy on the outside and has a sweetness to the batter. This was a good spot and we would recommend the chicken and waffle. We will be back to try other options.

Lucy B.

Yelp
If you've seen my reviews before, you know this is the only meal I get here! I switch off between the one at the banks and OTR. The chicken and waffle is amazing. Knocked off stars because we came during Tuesday lunch, and as the only people in there it still took over 15 minutes to be served water. Timing like that makes it tough for people who only have an hour lunch break. Other than that, everything else was great!

Ivy H.

Yelp
One of our favorite Brunch places in Cincinnati! This place sets the bar for other brunch places we go. The food is always fresh, flavorful and just amazing. We've never been disappointed or had a subpar experience. Today we tried a couple of new (to us) dishes. I had the Not a Burrito and hubby got the chicken, biscuit and gravy. Both were outstanding! Highly recommend!!

Charles T.

Yelp
Went on a weekday during dinner and the restaurant was empty. Service at the table was prompt if not a table bit slow and the we were seated at a table in the corner. The restaurant has a casual ambiance. Got the steak at this location and my friend got the chicken and waffles. The steak came out medium well and very tough. I asked the server to replace the dish with one that was medium rare and they brought out another steak that was larger but still tough and missing the salad. The fries were warmed and not seasoned. The Brussels sprouts were seasoned, crispy and the best part of the meal. I would not recommend the steak and fries from this location. Stick to staples like the chicken n waffle or brussel sprouts.

Nhi T.

Yelp
My favorite is the chicken and waffle and Brussels sprouts. Friendly service and ambiance.

Yelp
Stopped by Taste of Belgium with my friends on a recent trip to Cincy. The interior is pretty cool, and Over the Rhine is such a trendy area. There are restaurants all over this neighborhood, but we stopped in here because a friend had recommended it. We all shared an order of Bier Cheese and Pretzels and got extra pretzels on the recommendation of our waitress. The bier cheese was like a weird fruity one and it just did not work in my opinion, but one of my other friends enjoyed it. For me, it was somehow both flavorless and left a strong, not great aftertaste in my mouth. The ratio of pretzels to bier cheese is also incredibly off. Even with the extra pretzels ordered, it was not nearly enough for the massive amount of cheese we received. Definitely would pass on this one. For the entree, I ordered the smoked salmon gallete. This one was pretty good with a healthy portion of smoked salmon, a refreshing white sauce and some nice greens to balance it out. For some reason, they decided to add radishes to this dish which maybe would have worked, but the slices were super thick and just threw the balance off quite a bit. I took them off and it made the dish taste much better and I like radishes. I think this dish would be much tastier if the radishes were swapped for red onion slices. Overall, a decent experience but probably would not come back.

Meera K.

Yelp
Came for a family brunch and they were able to accommodate us in their event space, our first time in there! Great spot that holds up to ~15-20 seated. There is one large booth and 2 long tables. We ordered the veggie omelet - cherry tomatoes, Boursin cheese, and spinach, the harvest salad that had farro, nuts, Boursin, fruit, etc. mushroom savory crepe and original waffle. Ordering a waffle is a must here and we often leave with a stack to take home. There are several vegetarian options in the salads and burger section. Any burger can be substituted with a beyond meat burger. I personally don't love the taste of the buckwheat crepe but it was filled with spinach Gruyère and mushroom that was cooked well! The omelette was good and came with an option for side salad, fries or fruit. The harvest salad was filling and delicious, especially the Boursin cheese. My main qualm with TOB is that the fries are not vegetarian :( on the website menu it says they are cooked in duck fat. I remember a while ago TOB used to have vegan frites on the menu and I would love to see them return!

Yelp
Wish I had something to review, but unfortunately, this is the second time in the last three weeks that I'm trying to order a beer at the bar, and after standing there waiting to get acknowledged for 10 minutes, I did not have the patience to wait any longer and left. I think the bartenders need a bit more training or better people skills. I certainly understand when a bar is busy, but bartenders with tunnel vision who cannot acknowledge somebody's presence for 10 minutes are not doing their job.

MichelelovesUandonthavtoknowu C.

Yelp
I received my pickup in a timely manner but this establishment told me they had no utensils! Then how am I to eat my salad and chicken with waffles for lunch!

Angela D.

Yelp
This is 5 stars, the waffle and chicken is out of this world and the service is fantastic. Cody was helpful with the menu in pointing out some of the great dishes. I typically don't order chicken and waffles however Cody recommended it and I figured I would risk it. It did not disappoint. The ambiance is a little noisy however the decor is cute casual bistro. Next time I am I town I will return.

Jenni H.

Yelp
We only sat at the bar for drinks so this review is just on the bar experience. But with that being said, it was a good experience. Bartender was friendly and professional. Great bloody Mary; nice and spicy. The decor is awesome and does not give off a 'chain' place vibe. Taste of Belgium is on my bucket list; can't wait to go back for a meal

Rick H.

Yelp
I love all things Belgium, especially the beer and meatballs! 2 locations to choose from in the Queen City, and they're both excellent. Friendly service from nice people in a great atmosphere. I thought Chamay blur couldn't be beaten until I tasted St. Bernardus ABT 12. It's heralded as one of the finest beers in the world, and I must agree. Visit Taste of Belgium. Have a beer and meatballs or a crepe. You'll be glad you did so.

Yelp
Delicious breakfast and amazing staff. Will def go again next time we are in town. The yogurt parfait was amazing and the sweet waffles were very good.

Yelp
I made a Friday evening reservation here as the building is a bit of a tight squeeze. We had to wait a little as we arrived early, and there's nowhere to sit if you are waiting. We started our meal with the caramelized Brussels sprouts, minus the bacon. It tasted strongly of a delicious vinaigrette, however the inside was not very soft. The waiter was excellent, making friendly conversation with us and being on time. I got the Garden Salad, which lacked a lot of dressing. Once I picked through the lettuce, I realized there was about a quarter of a raw onion in it - I have never seen that much in that portion of salad, so I picked most of it out. The bill ended up being a lot cheaper than expected, and we grabbed a $2 cookie on the way out the door. Overall, it wasn't the best food but wasn't necessarily bad.

Yelp
We had brunch at the Over the Rhine location and it was a bit of a mixed bag, certainly not as good as I had expected, having heard such good things about Taste of Belgium. The menu is definitely out of the ordinary- most things involved Belgian waffles but not everything. The eggs Benedict was pretty good, and the chicken-biscuits-gravy was certainly very good. The greens were all fresh and the eggs were all prepared perfectly, but the biggest disappointment was one of our waffles was clearly burnt and hard! Very disappointing. Hopefully, you will have better luck. The parking was not plentiful- I imagine if you came at a busy time you might have trouble finding street parking at the OTR location. The service was nice and friendly but our server was clearly having to handle too many tables for one person. A surprise on the good side was their beers and cocktails. The beer selection on tap was varied, and the Bloody Mary from the bar was very good. Make sure you have a reservation as always these days.

Yelp
I've never had waffles like theirs! Taste of Belgium is one of my favorite places to take out of town guests for brunch. Great food and Ive never experienced slow or bad service at any of their restaurants, which is impressive for such a busy place.

Yelp
This place is amazing! Located in OTR , over the Rhine historical part of the city, it was not too busy on a Saturday evening. And it was one of a very few places where you can get fresh crepes in Cincinnati! Luckily for us it was open and as we were craving dessert, we went with a sweet, Nutella/banana and apple/walnut caramel crepes and a strawberry Belgian waffle with whipped cream! All of it was delicious ! Waffles are incredible and fresh, so as crepes, and all of the ingredients! It took about 10 minutes to get it done, and everything was super fresh and tasty Interior is very nice and clean with large windows and beautiful chandeliers! And service was nice and friendly!! Will be coming back!
