This is my favorite place to go for local tasty treats to take back home to the states with me. The owner Einar is amazing and is happy to show you around the shop to tell you about all the small businesses featured in his shop from places around the country of Iceland! There are products here that you can’t find at other shops. So skip the overrun souvenir shops and support local here.

Beautiful store, plenty of interesting things but the argentinian alfajores are such a beautiful piece of art and the flavor of them it's simply amazing. It's such an amazing fusion to have argentinian products inspired in iceland flavors and to find this beautiful connection between the country I come from and the country i'm choosing to live. If you have the chance take this alfajores home, they are a really nice gift

This shop was the highlight of a food tour that we went on while visiting your beautiful city. I absolutely loved the salty licorice bits that we got to try but the secret gem is the Icelandic garlic salt. It's unlike any I've ever tasted. So good I just had to buy a jar. The shop owner was so kind and informative & such a pleasure to chat with. I wish him well & hope his business thrives.

Taste of Iceland sells the most wonderful "alfajores" ever: Re Argentina. These sweet candies will truly delight you with its Argentinian "dulce de leche" (caramel milk) and Icelandic chocolate. Definitely worth a try!

Well curated store of Icelandic products, anything from craft salts, to chocolate, syrups and so much more. The owner is very friendly, knowledgeable about products and helpful.

A must visit for anyone who loves food! They have all the tastiest locally produced goodies including some artisan pop ups. You’ll find things here that aren’t stocked elsewhere, so you can also skip the kitschy Viking shops. Ask to try things- they have open containers of most of the stock!
