The new owner is friendly and kind. The pizza was slightly over cooked but one needs to mistakes in order to improve. The dough is how remember it. Not over worked and dense like all these other chains establishments. The tomato sauce had enough tang and was not runny . The pie was not overly greasy. The cheese, and toppings was held up well with the good under carriage so it didn’t droop. Had the pizza been taken out of the oven 3-5 min earlier it would have been much better. Everything else is five stars. Just needs more practice. This establishment will always be my go to for Italian pies. Welcome to the neighborhood!

I’ve been coming here for years and was sad to hear that the old owner was leaving last year. The new owner is just as amazing. Very good customer service and the pizza is just as I remember it being! There is absolutely no difference. This is my favourite pizza spot in the GTA! I highly recommend you check this place out you will not be disappointed.

This place is the true definition of a hidden gem! 💎 I ordered the 16-slice classic Italian pizza with garlic dipping sauce, and it was an absolute pleasure. The flavors were savory and delicious. Count me in as a regular customer!

I’ve been coming to this hidden gem for a couple of years now. The old owner said he was shutting down the business a few months ago, then he told me the last time I came a new owner will be taking over but he told me the pizzas will be the same. I’m happy to say the pizzas are just as good as before. This is by far my favourite pizza spot. The hours are even better now with the new owner. Best take out pizza in the GTA !!!

After trying numerous pizza places, I can confidently say they have the best pizza in Toronto. The restaurant was closed for a while because the owner moved back to Naples, so I am thrilled they have reopened. The taste remains as incredible as before, which is perfect. Keep up the excellent quality!

Definitely my go to place whenever I come to Vaughn! Haven't had pizza like that in a while. Host is very welcoming and the pizza is one of the best I have ever tested! Hidden gem and wish they had more locations in the GTA!!

I know there's a new owners but this is the third time I've come here and this is pathetic. Closed once again at 12:30 lunch time. New owner. Please update your hours. Don't inconvenience guest this way. Disappointment This hidden gem in north woodbridge is a must try simple menu and it's pizza so focusing just on pizza they make a great pizza. Gerry is great with customer service and you always have a great pizza here. Small place with 3 tables he specializes more on take out. Worth the try

Taste of Naples Pizzeria is hugely popular for locals here with many Italians in the area. The 16” pizza yielded 8 large tasty slices with a soft light pizza crust, fresh tomato sauce & good topping ingredients. Crisp thin crust bottom gave a nice finish. This is a real Neopolitan pizza that’s a touch better than I’ve had elsewhere. Be sure to order takeout early as we encountered a queue but our pizza was ready in a timely manner. Just wait for your number to be displayed outside before heading in-store to pickup.

Love this pizza shop. Was a little dubious after finding out Gerry sold it, but the new owners are meticulous about keeping everything the same and honestly they've improved it. More toppings, more choices, paper menu. If you're a pizza fan and you don't know about this place then in my opinion you're not a pizza fan.

Decent pizza stop Panzo was good. Will try the pie next time. Service was good Place is more for takeout.

Not sure why listed as closed. Clearly open today 9 July 2024. Going to give it a try. Update. Ordered the square pizza, requested thin crust, well done. It was cooked perfectly. Found the sauce a bit sweet but otherwise a decent pizza. Maybe ownership has changed but place is definitely open and a good option for a non-chain pizza if you live nearby.

Taste of Naples Pizzeria is hugely popular for locals here with many Italians in the area. Classic pizza joint run by a one-man operation. Small interior fitting about 6 square feet for customers. So all orders must be called in. I ordered the 16" margherita and it took about 15 minutes as we came in at an odd hour. The pizza was great, chef was nice (You can tell he has been making pizzas all day). The crust was thin, cheese was fresh, the sauce was pretty good, but it had a strong taste of thyme, and a pizza sauce should only have basil and oregano (In my own taste and opinion). Overall I wouldn't mind going again if I was nearby.

The pizza I ordered was on time. It smelled so good when I was driving home. It was very tempting for me not to eat it in the car. But once at home my family really enjoyed it. I would definitely order from there again.

It's bold naming your pizza parlour, Taste of Naples Pizzeria. Of course it's common knowledge that pizza originated from Naples and I've personally been to Naples and had pizza there; if you just happen to stumble into a random pizza place in Naples, the pizza is probably still better than 70% of the pizzas here. So if this place had bad pizza... oh... the irony. Does this place really remind me of the pizzas in Naples? I'd say probably not. But I can unequivocally tell you that their pizza is still better than a lot of places around town. For those who are not aware, this place is mainly a take out place. There's two two seater tables if you so choose to eat in. We went with the basics when we ordered... a simple pepperoni. Had I not went with the kids I probably would of ordered a margarita pizza instead. Pizza was the thin crust, typical Italian variety. The crust had a sweet floury taste to it with a slight crunch. Tomato sauce was fresh. The pepperoni was not of the rather salty variety and was tasty. Very solid pizza indeed. If you are looking for a taste of Naples, unfortunately you will have to fly to Naples (I'm sorry but aside from the pizza I did not find the real Naples appealing at all).

There are two kinds of people out there. Those who would go out of their way for a good slice of pizza and those who don't know any better! On the surface, Taste of Naples is your simple no-frills pizza place. 90% of the unit is the kitchen, with only a few tables for dine-in customers. There is a TV on the wall and the pizza options are written in florecent markers next to the cash register. This restaraunt doesn't try to be all thigns to all people. You won't find chicken wings, french fries or garlic bread on the menu. At Taste of Naples, they make pizza and panzerotti and they make both well. Gerri is the owner is a one-man show. He makes the pizza, takes the orders and serves the customers. When he has a moment, he will grab an acusic guitar and do a 30 second number of his own composition. He has a good singing voice and his music enjoyable. We ordered a three topping pizza with different toppigns on each half. The crust is exactlly what it needs to be. It is thin and soft with just a little bit of crisp around the edges. The ingredients are all fresh (including the oregano). We loved our experience and will gladly go out of our way for another slice.

Definitely the best tasting pizza I've ever had in my entire life (even better than the one I tried in Italy). The crust is thin and airy, spice and toppings were very delicious. The weren't tons of toppings to choose from but all the basics were there. I ordered half mushroom&salami and half extra tomato&cheese and it was perfect! Tomatoes weren't just chopped up but sliced thin instead which made them taste almost like sun dried tomatoes and very yummy... As other reviewers mentioned the place is small, only 3 tables and a tv, and is run by the owner himself who takes ordered and prepares them too, so obviously there's a bit of a wait (mine was ready within 15 min) as pizza is made to order which is probably why is tastes so good. The owner is very friendly and a pleasure to talk to. I'm so happy I stumbled upon this place, and can't wait to come back again!

Pizza is delicious and authentic. Doesn't make you feel super full and is completely satisfying. My 3 year old daughter who has a peanut allergy loves this pizza! Service is very pleasant and friendly. Ordered from here 3 times and will definitely be going back for more. This place is a gem!

How have I not reviewed this place yet? We've been coming here for years. Taste of Naples is our top choice for pizza, and seriously rivals some of the pizza I've had at top spots downtown (need to conduct more field research to say for sure). The ingredients are fresh and high quality. Jerry, the owner, makes an incredibly airy, soft, flavourful pizza or calzone. He's also a delight to chat with, and would sometimes play his guitar for visitors (ah, the pre-covid days). Prices are fair and he does offer specials. I love this shop and supporting a really great small business owner. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

Absolutely the best Pizza I ever have had ! My son and I were visiting Canada and my son likes to find the best pizza he can. We did a quick search on yelp in the area we were staying and found this great place! We took an Uber to the location and discovered that they no longer have a sit down area in this pizzeria. We explain the situation to the owner. He had one table in the restaurant which was covered with some supplies. He removed the supplies so my son and I can sit on the table and enjoy one of his pizzas. Which is absolutely the best pizza I've ever had! When I was young I opened up a pizza delivery business in Fort Collins Colorado. The pizza back then with someone similar to what Naples pizza makes so it brought back a lot of old memories of the great times I had in college. The owner of this establishment has quite a history he's been making pizzas, rather his family, for over 35 years and he was originally born in or around Naples. I've traveled to Italy on occasions and through France and never had a pizza that's good. Highly recommended and will sometime in the future revisit whenever I am in Woodbridge Canada

Great pizza always. It's a one man show with hand tossed, light and airy pizza- the less toppings the more desirable! My first time there I was able to sit outside the front door and enjoy my pizza with my husband on a patio table and chairs. The owner came out and conversed with us a few times and once we were finished he surprised me with some really beautiful songs he wrote, sang and played in his guitar- wow he's got talent! My husband craves the garlic pizza on a weekly and we live about 40 mins away- but it is always ALWAYS worth the drive!

Had just finished a hike in Woodbridge and was looking for dinner options, turned to my trusty Yelp app and this was the first option that popped up. We were sold after seeing that it had so many reviews and was still 5 stars! It's a very small restaurant with 3 small 2 seater tables. I noticed that most people order takeout so you will likely get a table if you want to sit in. There are only two employees there- one of which I assume is the owner. So there is a bit of a wait but I assure you it's definitely worth it! We got the 16 inch pizza with 3 toppings- bacon, mushrooms, and roasted red peppers. The last topping was a pleasant surprise as usually only the regular bell peppers are offered. The pizza had a very fresh and flavorful sauce, it tasted basically like pasta sauce lol and I think that's what made the pizza stand out for me. The cheese was perfectly melted and stringy. The only con was that there was barely any bacon. Other than that this was a yummy pizza and I would definitely visit again!

I had a craving for pizza and based on the incredible Yelp reviews I needed to try this place out as it has actually been on my radar for quite a while. Got one with soppressata, black olives and roasted red peppers. It was fantastic. This pizza was absolutely made with love. It was perfectly cooked with a perfect crust that was so light and airy. It's incredible that the entire operation is a one man show. The owner was a true kind hearted gentleman. Bravo.

Hidden Gem! What a surprise getting a pizza from here! The owner is a purist of Napolitan Pizza, and you can taste it in each bite. Place: A small place ok for take out. The best is on it's product. Fav dish: Pepperoni Pizza Flavor: The best crust I've ever had. Thin and soft, but crusty, Just perfect. Price: Perfect. Service: The owner is a nice person who can play a song with his guitar for you if there's time to. You can feel "la dolce vita" in the place. In my opinion, the best Purist Pizza place in Vaughan.

Best New York style pizza I've had. First ate from here at Pizza Fest - hands down the best stall at the festival. We've since visited this pizzeria a bunch of times. It's a bit of a drive for us but it's so worth it. My favourite part is the rich quality herbed tomato sauce. The crust is perfectly thin and crisp. Thin in the middle and then airy at the edges. Was surprised to taste and find caraway seeds in it - which adds such a nice flavour and texture! Their cheese is nice and gooey too. And their garlic dip takes it to another level for me, it really brings out the brightness in that tomato sauce. The man who runs this place alone is a true pizza artisan, a must try!

Was craving a good pie and decided on Taste of Naples based on all the good feedback. Ordered the trifecta of pizza (one 3 topping, a margarita and a panzerotti). Picked up and ate at home, two of my toppings (bacon and pepperoni) were switched from the panzerotti to the 3 topper. First impressions, it was a very good pizza. The dough was tasty, however, a little too overcooked for me, making it tough to chew at times. Sauce was on the sweet side, the panzo was baked and perfectly stuffed, not dry on the inside. Pizza was also well dressed, although the bacon flavor was not present often times. The 16in pizza size was what I would have expected and not small looking. Overall, decent pizza, well priced, good toppings. I would recommend ordering from them and giving it a try.

Yay: Basic yet delicious. Simple margarita pizza, simply amazing. Nay: Not too much selection but they got one thing right so stick to it. Usually I love my pizza toppings but this is just pizza at its purist form. The garlic one was a little dry for my tastes so I would recommend the margarita pizza. Definitely worth giving them a try. The owner is super friendly and down to earth. Small place and limited seating but was never a problem whenever I go. Probably the best pizza place I have had in GTA.

Warning!!! Once you take a bite of a Taste of Naples pizza, you will never be able to eat any other pizza!! The dough, the ingredients and especially the sauce is amazing. The owner is passionate about his pizzeria and customers. Unfortunately, there is no delivery services but the pizza is definitely worth picking up.

Came to support a local business during the pandemic. I ordered by phone and was told a pick up time by the owner. The pizza was delicious; the crust didn't feel heavy and the toppings were generous. I will definitely be back to support this place. Price was very fair.

Best Pizza in Woodbridge. Hands down. I go to a lot of pizza spots across Ontario and this place is very much to my liking. If you're looking for thing crust then its not the place for you but dough to sauce and topping ratio is exactly what you are looking for. Owner also cooks the pizza himself so you will want to phone ahead of time before picking up your pizza. When I want a pizza, this is the one to go to that would be closest to where I live.

Gerry is a kind hearted owner that makes each pie with diligence, caring and love. I think his family recipe sauce is the best around and his home made crust is just the right combination of crusty, chew and texture, has a hint of nuttiness from the flax meal...just perfect. Tucked in away from the main road, his recipes and his execution is outstanding. You'll be taking away your food, but, if you're like us, won't get far. We enjoyed it so much that we finished his pizzas in the parking lot. Not to be confused with the so many other options that are out there, Gerry serves up the real deal, not to be missed!

This is a REAL pizza slice!! Difficult to find a good slice of pizza like this in Toronto. If you're around Vaughn Mills shopping stop by and give it try. Great Authentic Authentic thin crust pizza with focus on sourcing quality ingredients. The pizza here is really Amazing!! Crust is crispy yet had a bit of chewiness to it. Don't settle for a cheaper $ and lower quality slice elsewhere. Try this place. There's a difference! Will be coming by every time I'm in the area!!

Amazing take out pizza, turned us into Pizza take out snobs. Although-our onions are always missing when we order them. But, it's so good all the time, that I won't even knock off a star!

What can I say about this place other than the pizza is simply amazing! It's family owned and the service is top notched which makes you feel welcomed. This pizzeria is more of a take out place but does promote their $2 Margherita slice of pizza to quick take out guests. The only negative I have about this place is that they should have definitely marketed more because they deserve more foot traffic! Now on to the pizza, it has a different textured pizza dough that you're used to that gives it a different feel to it. We got the $20 16" pizza that came with 5 toppings. Topped it off with bacon, ham, mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, and pineapple. One advice if you were to order a pizza here during rush hour times would be to just call in advanced with a set time expectancy to allow them to cook it fresh! Definitely worth the wait and would recommend to anyone.

This is the best pizza parlor in the area by far. Let me start by saying that I find most big commercial pizza chains to be utterly disgraceful (e.g pizza pizza, pizzaolo etc...). They're nothing more than cheap and gross imitations of the real deal. When I think quality pizza, Taste of Naples is the type of establishment that produces what I think about. The pizza is delicious! The sauce on the lighter side and slightly sweet. The crust is more of a medium crust but it's not heavy at all and the ingredients are nice and fresh. This is a must visit

The only downside is the location is kinda off the beaten path (located at back of the plaza opposite the town houses) Gerry the ex rocker makes one mean pizza with his own secret dough and sauce that is a combination of homemade and a nice gourmet pizza joint. The crust is light and airy and the sauce is good with hints of basil and oregano, I imagine the panzerotti's are going to be amazing. Will return soon.

Wow ! Colour me impressed ! Perhaps one of the best pizzas I have ever had...and my waistline will enforce the fact that I've eaten a lot of pizza in my day.... The restaurant itself is in a plaza at Rutherford Rd and Vellore Woods Blvd, in the plaza on the right side if you're going north on Vellore Woods Blvd. In this same plaza are 2 other pizza parlours, both of which have their niche market, but both of which should be nervous about this new entry into the plaza. We popped in last night and ordered 3 personal sized pizzas (which are on sale for $10/each). We chatted with the owner as he "stretched" the dough onto a pizza ring, then added home made pizza sauce, Saputo Gold Mozzarella and our choices of fresh toppings, all the while discussing his passion for food. He then popped them into the oven and they were out in 10 minutes. The smells were intoxicating and we couldn't wait to get them home to taste them Ordered were: Pizza 1 - cheese, ham, mushrooms and pineapple Pizza 2 - cheese, bacon, hot peppers (jalapenos), onion Pizza 3 - cheese, bacon, hot peppers, sun dried tomatoes I have to tell you....these pizzas were unbelievable. The were light, flavourful, cooked to perfection with amazing sauce and crust. The owner obviously knows his stuff and it shows in the final product. The restaurant itself is small and is more of a take out place. There are a few table and chairs but its more of a to-go kind of place. A home-made lamp is outside the door, proudly painted in the colours of the Italian flag (ask about its origin) with a Brio bottle as a light bulb (which unfortunately, doesn't light up) The only negative I have about the place is that its not in an ideal location and may get overlooked or not "discovered" by area/local residents. That would be a huge shame as the pizzas are fantastic and the restaurant is a huge addition to the neighbourhood. I'm drooling just thinking about going back......

Wow, great pizza. I was driving by with my family after finishing dinner at a local restaurant and had to stop. Being a pizza aficionado, even on a full stomach, how could I pass up at taste of Napoli. I ordered the margarita to get a good base on the pizza: The crust was amazing, very light and airy with a slight chew on the inside and crunchy on the outside, a hint of sweetness and a slight nutty taste. The sauce was very good, the tomatoes (San Marzano) basil, oregano, garlic and olive oil really came through. Well balanced, nothing over powering. Just the right amount of mozzarella and parmigiana. Overall, a great pizza We will be returning soon, this time on empty stomachs to try pizzas with different toppings. This pizzeria is definitely worth driving to. To top it off, the pizzaiolo is very friendly.

It's a small place but the owner is the pizza chef and he makes every pizza himself. Every single pizza is lovingly crafted and the chef ensures that every pizza meets the quality standards. If you want to have a great - nay, one of the best - pizza, then this is your place to go.

Been here plenty of times. The owner is amazing. I was lucky enough to come when he still had slices available. The experience is unforgettable. I wasn't in a rush so I stayed to eat and serenaded me

Unbelievable pizza. Probably the best I have ever had. The taste is authentic thin crust and you can taste the freshness in the ingredients. The offer on Yelp was for a large 3 topping pizza and the owner would not accept it because he said he has been telling yelp for over a year to take that off the website. I was a little disappointed about that as I find that to be somewhat false advertisement. The pizza is exceptional though.

I ordered pizza from Taste of Naples and then after waiting for an hour, they cancelled my order. No reason was given. I paid in advance with my card. This was the first time I ordered because I was trying to find a new pizza place. NICE GOING TASTE OF NAPLES! Itt is very hard to find a place that not only has quality food but that is ALSO professional and operates their customer service with excellence. I will be letting many others know as well. Disgusted with how they handled my order! They don't deserve a star, maybe half of a star but that would be a stretch Let's see if they will credit that back into my account..?
