One of the best places for coffee in Boston. It was tough finding quality coffee in Boston during our five days in the city. There were a few great options; however, this Tatte location stood out. The staff were friendly, the service was quick, the food was excellent, and the shop was quiet. It was great to start the day with a few awesome treats, a great coffee, and a good book.

I absolutely loved this cafe-bakery! Wide variety of wonderful cakes, pies, ideal for the sweettooth person!

Cute decor but the smell of oily grease fills the back of the restaurant. Passionfruit dessert was way too sweet and only has a little bit of a passionfruit jam that taste more like lemon. Tiramisu was okay. Chocolate dessert, the top and the bottom crust separated completely, the mousse was just okay. Croissant, had a lot of layers, it was more moist than expected. Palmier, good and also very sweet. Latte, tasted more like milk than coffee.

Love Tatte in general but the experience at this outlet was miserable. Because it is a smaller branch, it doesn’t offer the full menu like the other outlets. When I visited on a Sat late afternoon, it was packed, stuffy, humid and hot. Ventilation is poor and it definitely doesn’t help that the kitchen space is not isolated from the rest of the cafe. Clean cutlery wasn’t readily available and it was hard to find seats. I found it odd that there was an empty area right next to the drinks counter where they could have easily fitted a sizeable table. Food was also very salty and my quiche was served burnt. Doubt I’ll return to this outlet again.

Mixed feelings … bakery and pastry items are good. I ordered the croissant breakfast sandwich with the optional “homemade” sausage for an additional $2 … I wouldn’t recommend the “homemade sausage” … spicy and dry … at least mine was. The sandwich was average at best. In addition, it appears that management has removed any type of options and decision making from the employees. I wanted a side of potatoes, but unfortunately, if your item doesn't show potatoes on the menus, they can’t offer separately …. And there is only one item on the menu that offers potatoes … the house breakfast plate. So no potato fritters for me. Then, my wife ordered an ice latte, which was very milky and not very strong. She went up to the counter, explained that the latte was weak, and asked for an additional shot of coffee. The young lady behind the counter was short and rude as she explained that the latte only gets two shots. She then swiped the cup out of my wife’s hand, threw it away, and made her a new drink. Not sure how that makes any sense at all … as I’m pretty sure they would have been well ahead of the game by just offering an additional third shot … rather than an additional two plus other ingredients to make another drink. My wife then went to the register and explained what happened … and they offered her a third shot. The entire experience was uncomfortable and stressful … won’t be back. I understand we were there at a peak time, and they were crowded, but being polite and courteous shouldn’t be compromised. We won’t be back.

Love this place for breakfast. We got soup of the day, the breakfast croissants, salmon tartine, baguette and meringue. I love everything except the meringue, that one wasn't so interesting. The soup was well flavored (tomato soup), the croissants here's really really good. There were many people though even early morning and because of the construction outside it was really hard to get a table.

I recently visited Tatte Bakery and had a wonderful experience. I opted for their turkey sandwich and a latte, and I was not disappointed. The turkey sandwich was a delectable combination of tender turkey, fresh veggies, and flavorful condiments, all nestled between slices of perfectly toasted bread. The latte was expertly crafted, providing a creamy and satisfying accompaniment to the meal. The ambiance of the bakery added to the enjoyment of the experience, with its cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. I highly recommend Tatte Bakery for anyone craving delicious food in a charming setting.

We recently visited this cafe twice, but unfortunately I have to say the experience is not pleasant. The cafe was incredibly crowded, which made it difficult to find a comfortable spot to enjoy my meal and coffee. The lack of space and constant noise took away from the overall ambiance I was hoping for. Moreover, the food we ordered failed to meet our expectations. Mine was acceptable but my boyfriend ordered shakshouka and got very upset. Even the coffee fell short of my expectations. The taste was average, lacking the rich and distinctive flavors I typically enjoy in a good cup of coffee. Dessert was not bad. Despite these disappointments, I do want to acknowledge the hardworking staff at the cafe. They were putting in their best efforts to cater to the high volume of customers, even in such a crowded environment. Their work deserves appreciation. Overall, I don’t recommend this place if you’re seeking for a relaxing breakfast spot and don’t want to get stressed out.
