Tattersalls Boutique Hotel Armidale

We had a fabulous dinner here. The building has been beautifully restored- so beautiful ambience. The food was excellent, full of flavour and delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive. This has been the best meal on our 7 day trip. Would not hesitate to eat here again should we find ourselves in Armidale again.

For the last 3years, I have been a regular multi -night visitor to Tatts, felt like my home away from home. Some may say pricey, but we'll worth it. Real points of difference that I was happy to pay for. I have referred numerous peopl to Tatts and they always were wowed!|| I understand management changes, however, the little things are now gone.It's still nice, but the standard Tatts initially set for themselves, which I obviously enjoyed, has now diminished. ||Lipstick marks on glasses, pubic hair on toilet seat at check in, reduced menu, dining room staff in joggers with poor dress and appearance, no welcome in restaurant, actually NO ONE in restaurant (and being told no, you can't sit in a booth.) You can expect this level of service in an average pub anyday.||I'm happy to pay whatever the price is when you feel like you are getting a return on your investment. We spoke to the leader at the time about our experiences and were reassured and offered a meal on the house.||After this stay we thought we'd give it another try. Over a 2 night stay with family ( 2 rooms), every time we wished to order food in restaurant( 4 times) we had to go over to the staff talking behind the bar and interrupt their social chat. The cleaning staff, previously discreet and friendly with an attention to detail, did not meet the standards previously set by Tatts, not even close. We were embarrassed to have recommended this to our family. The vibe has gone from friendly, stylish, impeccably clean and special, to something quite different.||I would not refer any one based on my experiences given the current standards and service provided there.||So sad because we are ready to tie the knot , we thought we had found our place and for a time we planned to have our celebrarions there . Tatts held a special place in our hearts, but we won't be back.

Last minute booking turned out to be a great choice. What an amazing hotel to stay in. Felt like we were on an Agatha Christie Poirot show. Restaurant was fantastic and food was delicious. All staff were professional and friendly.

Driving from SA to QLD. This hotel was fantastic. Such a beautiful hotel. We were greeted by a welcoming Simon who was lovely. Our disabled room was absolutely gorgeous. We felt like royals. It was incredibly clean and smelt lovely. The bed was amazing and so were the pillows. We slept like babies. The breakfast was included and it was delicious. Bacon, eggs, hash browns, tomato, mushrooms and choice of breads for toast plus continental pastries. The lovely lady from England with the blonde hair was so kind and helpful with our luggage. She ended a great stay with a beautiful smile.

Executive King room was a small dark boring space and the tiny window couldn't open. Apart from a smallish mirror , no other wall decoration to brighten the drab colour scheme. The art deco decor was very tasteful throughout the hotel. The place was very clean. Our room was not exceptionally sound proof. The bed and shower were great. Mini bar was reasonable. Included breakfast was horrible. Our order was forgotten, eventhough we were the only guests. Food was cold and burnt and believe it or not , no barista or filter coffee. Only pods available. The attached restaurant , had 4 major items out of stock, including dessert. We had an early sitting which means there was no provision made. We were offered free drinks to compensate, which was a beautiful gesture. The wait time was longer than usual. Steaks were chewy and expensive and had no Included sides. Flank steak was ok, but was served cold Restaurant was tastefully decorated. Chips was below standard. Brocolini was outstanding. All service members were lovely and friendly. Limited parking but great location. Wouldn't stay here again. A bit disappointing.

We came to Armidale for lunch & to see snow along the way, little did we know the roads would get closed & we would become stuck in this winter wonderland. Accomodation was getting booked out before our eyes but thankfully we got in at Tattersalls. The girl who took our booking and checked us in was absolutely wonderful, our room amazing & breakfast was delicious. We did book a second night due to road closures & couldn’t be happier staying here again. Big thanks to the amazing staff for making our winter escape a warm & comfortable one.

Reception staff were ok and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included in the price , the food was fine but the service by the wait staff was poor. Guests were completely ignored when arriving in the dining room and left to figure it out for themselves. There was a buffet for cereal etc and cooked breakfast was order through the wait staff - if you could attract their attention.

Thanks Tattersall’s for a fabulous meal and excellent service to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Such a beautiful classy venue. Highly recommend.
