Tattoo FX

Ness did my phoenix tattoo today. I've never been happier. It was absolutely beautiful and she's amazing to talk to. Absolutely coming back here for further tattoos. She is a credit to the team and was amazing both inside and out.

I met Neil and Jackie at the Brighton Show and found them to be really friendly and helpful. Neil had a slot so I had a design tattooed on my thumb, this was my first tattoo for nearly 14 years. I’ll definitely be getting in touch for some more work soon.

Awesome Tattoo shop, amazing artists!!! Had one wrist cuff done by Luke, and I couldn't be happier. Then I had Will fix the one on the back of the forearm and he absolutely nailed it, far better than what I thought could be done. You pay for the best work and won't be disappointed.

I haven't a bad word to say about Tattoo FX. I had my right arm half sleeve done in August. From sketching out his intended design beforehand to giving advice afterwards about healing, etc, Neil was absolutely brilliant throughout....and great to to talk as well which is handy as I was in the chair for 10 hours for this one. In short, they must be doing it right as I'm about to book myself for my left arm 😂

After years of debating my next tattoo, Tattoo FX were my first choice to go after hearing how amazing they all are. Email communication was great and I was able to book in sooner than I was expecting. When the day came I was pretty nervous but as soon as I stepped foot into Tattoo FX I was put at ease by the friendly welcome. Will made me feel very comfortable and ensure I was 100% happy on my design and suggesting little edits to ensure it still looks great later down the line. He did a fantastic job and I absolutely love it! I'm now thinking what other tattoos I can get done 😆 Thank you for such a great experience

Absolutely the best tattoo parlour!!! Now I've found Tattoo FX and namely Neil, I wont go anywhere else. I'm so pleased with the tattoos I've had done here. Its a comfortable and clean setting. The staff go above and beyond.

I'm one of those people that have been talking about getting a tattoo for about the last 16 years. Finally I got around to getting one a month ago. On a recommendation from a friend I decided to offer my hard earnt pennies (that is actually a lie, I used a cash rebate I got from my Masters fees!!) to Tattoo FX. After booking in a date I had to wait about 2 weeks for the day of reckoning and then a further 30 minutes whilst the previous client was being finished off. Luckily the waiting area is furbished with comfortable sofas and a lot of examples of the artists work to pass the time. I was tattoo'd by the new artist (will), who specialised in abstract designs. After a brief consultation to finalise the tattoo we went through to his room. The studio is very clean and all the expected hygiene protocols are more than met. He was helpful in advising where the tattoo would best be positioned (I initially wanted it on the top of my forearm, but on his advise went for the underside). He wasn't the biggest talker, but to be honest I preferred the fact that he was concentrating on the job, rather than on what he was going to do that weekend. I was very pleased with the result and the established tattooist (Neil) was keen to have a look at the piece also. He specialises in more detailed work and from the examples I saw, I would recommend paying him a visit if you were looking for such a design. The girl at reception was helpful with aftercare advise and the cost came in at £70 for about 1 hours work. You would probably be able to find a cheaper studio, but if you are looking for a quality tattoo in a friendly and professional studio then Tattoo FX should be your tattooist of choice. One word of warning; make sure to bring enough money in cash as they do not accept credit cards for payment.

My friend recently got her tongue pierced here and they really did do a professional job from start to finish. The guy doing the piercing really made her feel at ease and when I nearly passed out watching the whole thing, his colleague very kindly got me a glass of water and showed me somewhere to sit down. Once my friends mouth had stopped swelling up, she did say that she was very pleased indeed. They had some increadible examples of tattoo art on the wall which I must admit did tempt me to roll my sleeves up and 'get some ink' but I think I'm a bit old for all that now.

Had my tattoo done by the new guy (why oh why?). Bad. The drawing was not too bad but then he ruined it by colouring. Too dark, bad shadowing heavy handed. (Never bleed like this before and i have 3 other tattoo). He doesn't take critics well either and charges you for two hours even when spent half of the time looking for stuff, chatting. Had another artist fixing the tattoo in another place. Only go there if you can get the two other guys!

I went yesterday got kept wait from the new guy in there 2 hrs and 10 mins they never called to say he was late in and he was doing another's tattoo!! So after several cigarette breaks he and his client had j finally got in there ! Not talkative did advise me what was best for just said well its your choice but a bit of advice would have been nice I suggest any 1 going here see Neil the boss!!!! No 1 else plus so over priced for a bow small £120 not even a thought to knocking a bit off for me sitting there for hours!!!!23/3/2013

Best place in area for getting tattoo had my first tattoo done when first opened in town... Must of been 4 years ago now and still looks good now as did back then.
