Tau House

This hotel is just fantastic. We really felt like royalty while staying at Tau House. We did a room upgrade upon arrival and stayed in a room with jacuzzi which was very nice, we had room 114. The staff is outstanding from the front desk, the waiters and the even the manager, they all showed care. Special thanks to Gustavo for his hospitality and outstanding service. The staff took care of asking every single day when we would prefer our room to be cleaned. We slept like babies. No noise no nothing, apart from a funny bird knocking our window one morning, we never heard any noise. Everything we ate here was good tasting. Breakfast is ok but don’t expect a feast as it is a small property but you can order extras. I would definitely recommend for a romantic escapade. Kayaking from the hotel was also really nice with no cost and no limitations.

The rooms are stunning, the hotel is beautiful and well maintained with lovely grounds. The food is outstanding, but the highlight is the staff who were the best and couldn't do enough. The manager was possibly one of the nicest people I have met.

This is a fantastic facility with a great staff of people. Location right on the lake with it's own private dock and ten minute walk up to La Pierdra is perfect. Great fitness facilities, pool, hot tub all overlooking the lake. Top notch!!! Will stay here again for sure!

A quiet spot for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful weather and scenery of Guatapé. Right on the water, every room has a perfect view. It's not a crazy party hotel, much more zen than that. The food is great and the service is good. The only complaint I have is that they took all the exercise equipment out of the gym the second day. I do like to still get my workouts in while on vacation. So, calastenics it is...

2nd time visiting this property, and all service and property were up to par biggest surprise was that our room had an a/c, this just made the hotel top class. No unpleasant surprises room was a described both in text and pictures. Staff was very friendly, and allways in top service state. Room was good and now with ac. Loved the place would now for sure return to this amazing hotel

Beautiful facility Great views and food. Recommend it for atmosphere and food quality|We went with a group for lunch. The staff was eager to please and the food was great.|We did not stay there but it looked spotless and the spa looked great. Great experience

We weren’t supposed to come to Guatape, it was a last minute decision. On our way here we debated on a few hotels and decided to stay here. It’s walking distance to the rock, 10 min drive to town. Beautiful scenery. Lots to do, games, hot tub, kayaking etc. the restaurant was delicious. Rooms are modern and clean. ** And what really made it a special experience was our server Julio, he was so attentive, speaks English, very positive, helpful and knowledgeable. Thanks Julio! 😊

We had a great stay at TAU House- the room was spacious, the beds comfortable, the service impeccable. The hotel was beautiful and set against a peaceful backdrop. I highly recommend their restaurant too even if you are not a guest at their hotel.
