Tau House

When I told you I would recommend this hotel with no regrets, everything was just perfect!!! Probably the best mojito I ever had in my life!!! This is a place to come relax and stay away from crowds and noise!!! Peaceful, service 10/10, restaurant 10/10, views 10/10, cleanliness 10/10… Guatapé in general is a small town to come relax and enjoy the views… it is not a party place!!! So if you are looking for a romantic place and/or to spend quality time with your family and rest, this is the perfect place for it!!! I can guarantee you , you won't regret it!!!

This hotel is just fantastic. We really felt like royalty while staying at Tau House. We did a room upgrade upon arrival and stayed in a room with jacuzzi which was very nice, we had room 114. The staff is outstanding from the front desk, the waiters and the even the manager, they all showed care. Special thanks to Gustavo for his hospitality and outstanding service. The staff took care of asking every single day when we would prefer our room to be cleaned. We slept like babies. No noise no nothing, apart from a funny bird knocking our window one morning, we never heard any noise. Everything we ate here was good tasting. Breakfast is ok but don’t expect a feast as it is a small property but you can order extras. I would definitely recommend for a romantic escapade. Kayaking from the hotel was also really nice with no cost and no limitations.

Beautiful tranquil hotel. Perfect for our family while visiting Guatape. The only downside is there isn’t a proper swimming pool - but aside from that, everything was perfect. Food was delicious, and the hotel were really helpful organising activities for us (boat trip, jet ski).

The rooms are stunning, the hotel is beautiful and well maintained with lovely grounds. The food is outstanding, but the highlight is the staff who were the best and couldn't do enough. The manager was possibly one of the nicest people I have met.

A quiet spot for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful weather and scenery of Guatapé. Right on the water, every room has a perfect view. It's not a crazy party hotel, much more zen than that. The food is great and the service is good. The only complaint I have is that they took all the exercise equipment out of the gym the second day. I do like to still get my workouts in while on vacation. So, calastenics it is...

2nd time visiting this property, and all service and property were up to par biggest surprise was that our room had an a/c, this just made the hotel top class. No unpleasant surprises room was a described both in text and pictures. Staff was very friendly, and allways in top service state. Room was good and now with ac. Loved the place would now for sure return to this amazing hotel

The customer service by the hotel staff was exceptional the room was huge and beautiful, the shower was the best I’ve ever seen and the best showers I’ve taken at a hotel, the free breakfast was amazing and the overall experience was great 10/10

Beautiful facility Great views and food. Recommend it for atmosphere and food quality|We went with a group for lunch. The staff was eager to please and the food was great.|We did not stay there but it looked spotless and the spa looked great. Great experience
