Taupo TOP 10 Holiday Park

Thank you Taupo Top Ten. The office staff were fantastic. The camp itself , is fantastic for families. The owners, definitely put money back into the park .as the amenities are very modern and well maintained. To enable to give their customers the best experience staying here. The cleanliness is superb. My only gripe is, that we only booked for 2 nights, but unfortunately our time didn't allow us to stay longer. We will definitely be back.

This is not the best Top 10 Holiday Park I've stayed. Olivia on reception was excellent. |The Hot Water in the communal bathrooms was lukewarm at best. I think they need to lift the temperature level. |It did rain quite heavy one night and on the morning some sites looked like a small lake. I realise the management can't change the weather but I'm sure they could improve the drainage system.

I stayed in a studio for a week, arriving on a Friday. The internet did not work (unless I stood out on the drive) until Monday afternoon. That very much influenced my review. (A manager knew there was a problem with the wifi in two rooms but still put me in the room.) As someone who stays in studio/motel units at Top10s I would not stay in the Taupo one again. There are plenty of motels to pick from. The water pressure in the shower was weak. The unit was old and small but clean, with good lighting and a small deck area.

We stayed at Taupo TOP 10 Holiday Park over Easter and had a fantastic time, despite the not-so-great weather. The park is in a great location—just a short drive from the lake and town centre—which made it easy to get around. The park is well-maintained and overall very clean and pleasant to stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Even with the rainy weather, there were some awesome activities organised for the kids, including a colouring competition and arts & crafts, which kept them entertained and happy. It’s definitely a family-friendly spot, and we felt very welcome. All in all, a great place for a family getaway. We’d happily stay here again—hopefully next time with a bit more sunshine!

Excellent stay at the Taupo Top 10. Very clean well-appointed cabin. Modern interior. Staff were great and even had the heat pump on when we arrived warming the place up (Winter trip). Highly recommend this place.

Clean, tidy, welcoming and very clean.||We would love to come back over the summertime to use the hot pool but way too cold for us to strip off this time. The rooms had great heating and company beds

We have just had 5 nights here during the V8 Supercars. We could not have found a better place to park our motorhome. The camp is immaculately clean, bathrooms, public areas and grounds are first rate. We didn’t use the pools but will next time. The staff are lovely, nothing was too much trouble. They really catered for the motor racing fans with a shuttle running to and from the main bus drop off area in town. We also appreciated the large 85in TV in the lounge for guests. Great to have onsite coffee as well. The communication was great with text updates. We would certainly recommend this park if you are visiting Taupo. We will be back.

We stayed in a motorhome 2x nights in August 2025. The allocated site was a good size. The communal areas were clean and tidy, as was the whole site.

Good heater inside cabin but NO POWERPOINTS TO CHARGE MY DEVICES!! :( :( Yes that is a huge letdown to make it a 2 star..
