Tavern on the Trail

Staff is very friendly and accommodating. They do not accept reservations, but we've gone twice in the last few months with a group of 10-12 people, and I called to give them a heads up to expect a large party. They appreciated the calls. Service and food were great. Prices are reasonable. For 10 of us last week, our bill was $236. We all had dinner, a few had appetizers, and was was having mixed drinks. We were quite impressed with the bill. We go to a different restaurant in a 1 hour radius once a month. We've gone to some where the bill is between $400 and $600. Tavern on the Trail has been the only place that our group wanted to return to. That speaks volumes!

Delicious food, very friendly service. Best wings and burgers!! Highly recommend if you around the area.

Don't judge a book by its cover. The outside looks like a dive, which it technically is, however, the food was delicious! Our waitress recommended Hot Honey Garlic Wings, the best I've ever had! The Cheesesteak sandwich was better than in Philly and the Tuna Melt with carrots, I know, what, carrots!? It was amazing!!!

I stopped in here by chance in between work appointments. Had a cold beer, a really good buffalo chicken cheese steak! Bartender was very friendly and knew his stuff about football! I got to meet some locals who were really nice and ready to shoot the breeze. I'd definitely come back again!

I was up visiting friends. I tried a few things. I got the corn beef tavern sandwiches its was really really good. I also got the honey chicken wrap it was okay the onion over power everything. The gumbo was good and cheese curds I really like.

Ample space for dining and superb tasty food. Whether you are biking or hunting this tavern has the plentiful burgers and salads to fully recharge your energy. Greeted us with smiles and were very attentive to make sure we were pleased. Burgers were cooked perfectly and mozzarella sticks were amazing. Total with tip for 2 people is $46. Very good!

Out of the way Tavern with good food excellent prices. The Staff are all friendly. Very good service. My wife and i had home made chicken bites that were out ot the world delicious. So if you in the White Haven area. Do yourself a favor and stop in . You would enjoy your meal . 😋 say hi to Dennis the cook.

The food here was great! Definitely, just a tavern menu, but the quality and portion was on top! The service was also very excellent (if that's a thing?). Our server, the bartender, was super friendly and happy! This little place made our travel dinner awesome! Thank you!
