"Tucked down a discrete alley that opens into a small courtyard with a pier stretching out over the canal, this tavern is one of Venice's best kept secrets. People seek out this gem after hearing about its legendary happy hours. The bartenders behind the brick bar shake up well-balanced Aperol and Campari spritzes, but a full bar is stocked with all the fixings for any classic cocktail you desire. Plenty of bottles of prosecco are on the ready, chilling in an iced tub, and of course there is a litany of Italian wine in the cellar." - Jenna Scatena
A very lovely place recommended by a jeweler; otherwise we would hardly find it because the restaurant is not located on those fancy and crowded Venice squares. Instead, you need to walk through some narrow streets and find yourself in a very cozy and in fact popular restaurant full of visitors!
The service was top level, the food was delicious, the wine was fine, the atmosphere was extremely pleasant and you just would not want to leave that place! An adorable restaurant!

In a town full of tourist trap restaurants, this place was a hidden gem. We had no reservations, but were able to get a table for two for dinner around 7:30 on a Saturday. Food was incredible, especially the risotto tartare. Beautiful, inside and out, we had to wander down some back streets to find it. Not overpriced

A beautiful hidden gem located right by Rialto bridge, the food was amazing (went back 3 times). The atmosphere is lovely and cozy and truly gives you traditional Venetian food beautifully presented. Feels like a local secret hidden down tiny alleys with a view out the front of the stunning grand canal.

We’ve been to this restaurant twice now. We enjoyed it sooo much we had to come back tonight. The food is absolutely fantastic. Especially the truffle pasta. The staff are the friendliest, always smiling. (Grazie Euli) Plus, they play jazz! What a rare find in Venice. This will be our absolutely go to every time we come back to Venice now.

Our appetizer is octopus salad, the taste is a bit mediocre, but tagliatelle is good, and the sea bass is perfect, especially with the vegetables. And the bartender is very elegant, when I walked in the restaurant, it seemed like I walked into the 17th century.

We read a lot of good reviews about the food and beautiful views, so we decided to visit this place.
We arrived on Saturday (about 4 pm) and it wasn't nice to know that they haven't food. No spaghetti, salads, etc. Just snacks and alcohol. Man, who was at the bar, told us that he was really busy to find out if they had some food in the kitchen for our kid or not. So we had nothing to do but just leave it.
But it was a cozy atmosphere inside

You have to know about it or you'll never find this hidden gem.
Beetroot gnocchi was amazing and my husband loved his spaghetti carbonara with asparagus.
If we ever come back to Venice, we'll definitely visit here again!

The service was great. I asked about sauces, wine and of course the dessert! I wish I got the servers name, he was wonderful! I ordered tagliatelle and black truffles. Also, the house made tiramisu.
