The food was delicious, the wait staff was a little apprehensive when they saw us with a toddler and a baby. However, the manager came to check on us and was super nice! Definitely recommend if you love Italian food. We did spend $45 after ordering 1 appetizer, 1 pizza, and 4 ice teas. So make sure you bring enough cash!

It’s ok. After I ordered, I remembered I was here once before. After I had my meal, I remembered I wasn’t impressed like before. Oddly enough I ordered the same thing I had 2 years ago. The runny sauce triggered the memory. The staff was really nice but speaking to them and tasting the food, I don’t think this is a real Italian restaurant. Maybe some things or most things are not made in house. Pizza oven is gas and I think more for show than function. Serving size was small. I thought everything was bigger in Texas... I probably won’t be coming back here, if I can remember not to come here. You can try it. Maybe it was the item I mistakenly had twice that was consistently bad and most things are good.

Delicious italian food, I can just recommend the place! I had the most amazing pizza salamino and lemon cake here! The staff is really good, they are not wasting any time. There is a gluten free menu and lots of options are vegetarian. Thin and tasty pizza!! Thank you!

Incredible food! The antipasti was amazing, it was artichokes with cheese garlic breadcrumbs served with garlicky crusty bread! Chefs kiss good. The spaghetti and meatballs was tasty, the ravioli was good. The atmosphere was very nice, the service was lovely. I'd return!

Great wine selection, atmosphere and food. The seafood risotto was incredible! Love that they accommodated to our 6 year old even though there’s not a kids menu. Just a really nice restaurant for date night or even family night without spending a fortune. Highly recommend!

Food is good but service leaves something to be desired. Second visit - downtown Ft Worth location. Service is just not very welcoming, which is in contrast to the location in Uptown Dallas. We asked about happy hour and were told it is only available in certain areas of the restaurant (not where we were seated). But they didn’t offer to reseat us or to make an exception. The service reminds me of what you’d expect in a tourist town. I had the scampi which was very good. My wife and kids had pizzas, which were just ok, but my son didn’t care for the crust - and he is a crust expert. We’ll likely visit Uptown Dallas location again, but maybe not Sundance Square in Ft Worth.

Had the best time here. The specials are $2 small mimosas and $4 large 10-3 sat and sun for brunch. Happy hour 1-8 pm m-f. I had the taverna hash and it was AMAZING and my friend had the egg and polanto. We tried the spaghetti and meatballs and amazing as well. Ask for a side of toast with brunch. It’s toasted sourdough and it is awesome. Best service, best specials. The waiter even gave us advice about local events and things to do. 10/10 would reccomend to a friend.

Moved to Fort Worth and was craving italian food. I typed in Best Italian near me into google and Taverna popped up. I perused the menu and saw they made one of my favorite dishes, spaghetti carbonara. So, I went there to eat and was impressed. I started with bruschetta which was freshly buttered. It was satisfying and not overwhelming. I ordered the carbonara and it came out with the perfect combination of creaminess and pepper. I will definitely frequent this restaurant for the carbonara alone! The pizza looked and smelled great as well. For a random Google search find, Taverna rivals the majority of italian restaurants I have been to in at least the recent past. Try it out!
