Taverna Gargadoyas

On our way back from a trip, by the recommendation of our guide, we sat down and had lunch at this tavern and we definitely weren't wrong. The souvlaki was excellent, the meat was so soft and juicy, the gyros burger was the same. For a starter we had the eggplant spread with their pita bread, also excellent. Definitely a great lunch

First dinner in Greece, we wanted to try local food. We tried a tzatziki as appetizer and chicken gyros and Greek salad as main dishes. It was as expected a very nice overview of the local cuisine! Special mention to the chicken meet which was very tasty. The fries however were a bit chewy and greasy, but overall it was a nice dinner. The service was very good and the place was cute, we had a great time.

I got the pork souvlaki, and I could tell the pork was of really high quality. The owner of the restaurant told me he does the grocery shopping every day at 6 a.m. to get fresh ingredients. I had a very satisfying lunch here and highly recommend it. The prices are reasonable, the food is awesome, and the server was super kind. There's no reason not to visit!

The service was amazing. The owner was attentive, gave great suggestions and even offered us dessert on the house! We really enjoyed the tzatziki, eggplant salad and spicy salad with bread. The kebabs were also delicious. All for quite a decent price! Highly recommend if you’re near the Delphi area.

This café turned out to be a great find — the food was genuinely delicious, and the portions were generous. A strong recommendation: try the Delphi salad. It’s not only incredibly tasty, but also filling enough to be a complete meal on its own. Meat dishes are served with sauces, which adds a nice touch and elevates the flavors. The prices are more than reasonable, especially considering the quality and portion sizes. The staff were friendly and attentive, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. All in all, a great spot with solid food and honest prices — definitely worth a visit.

Best food I had in Greece. Service was amazing, they even gave us free dessert. Amazing view. If you are vegetarian- the veggie burger is one of the best I have had.

The worst restaurant in Greece, the chicken was dry and salty, everything was heated from the refrigerator, and the sauces were all from the factory. There is no sincerity and it feels like they have lost their passion for making delicious food! Definitely not recommended.

Absolutely delicious food! We tried the Greek cheese and pita as a starter (ask for the one that's like philadelphia in texture) and a gyros plate as mains. The gyros plate was huge! Tasty and well priced Greek food!
