Taverna Greek Kitchen - Souk Madinat Jumeirah

This is the best restaurant I’ve been to in Dubai. This is my second time here, and everything I ate was unbelievably delicious. The dolma, salad, cacik, zucchini, and fish were all amazing. Every dish was full of flavor and perfectly prepared. I highly recommend this place!

Taverna Greek Kitchen is an absolute gem in Souk Madinat Jumeirah and one of the most authentic Greek dining experiences in Dubai. From the moment you arrive, the atmosphere transports you straight to the Greek islands — warm, lively, and effortlessly elegant, with beautiful views of the waterways and Burj Al Arab. The food is outstanding. Every dish is fresh, flavorful, and true to Greek tradition. The mezze selection is generous and perfectly balanced, the seafood is exceptionally fresh, and the grilled meats are cooked to perfection. Standout dishes include the octopus, saganaki, and the lamb — all bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Portions are very satisfying and ideal for sharing. Service is excellent: attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable without being intrusive. The team genuinely cares about the experience and offers great recommendations. Whether for a relaxed lunch, a romantic dinner, or a lively evening with friends, Taverna delivers consistently on food, atmosphere, and service. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates quality Greek cuisine in a stunning setting. Highly recommended.

we had a very good dinner tonight and I didn't make a mistake that we went here again for the second time around but today we had a company, we had a fantastic business dinner. we are from netherlands and others are from uk and italy. the food is really delicious, everything runs out and there is no cork, thank you to the chefs and above all for Kamran is very good service to us and his other team from the hostess, food delivery and I'm happy that one of the Myanmar staff remembered us from our last visit. kamran you are the best i know your head hurt when you took the order from us but you made our night happy. Thank you and to your whole team! BRAVO!!!

Nice place with good service and a pleasant atmosphere. The food was tasty, slightly above average, but not particularly memorable. Some of dishes were modern takes on Greek food,well presented, but I prefer more simple look with strong flavors. Still, it’s a good option if you’re looking for a stylish Greek spot in Dubai.

Had dinner at Taverna Greek Kitchen in Souk Madinat and it was such a wonderful experience. The whole place has a beautiful, authentic aesthetic that instantly makes you feel like you’ve been transported to Greece, from the décor to the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. I started with the fried calamari, which was perfectly crisp and full of flavour. For my main, I had the chicken breast with a creamy feta sauce and fasolada purée, and it was absolutely delicious, rich, comforting, and beautifully presented. To finish, I had the vanilla and pistachio ice cream, the perfect light and refreshing way to end the meal. The service was fantastic throughout, attentive without being intrusive. A must-visit spot if you’re craving authentic Greek food in a stunning setting.

Fantastic experience …good delicious, ambience next to water made it all special but the reason for the review was because of Kamron who was exceptional! We were a table with young children and he could not have been more helpful and attentive. What a star! ⭐️

Always a pleasure to come back to Taverna. The service was excellent, especially thanks to our waiter tonight, Jimmy, who was attentive and welcoming. The food was delicious as always. We will definitely be back.
