Taverna Greek Kitchen is an absolute gem in Souk Madinat Jumeirah and one of the most authentic Greek dining experiences in Dubai. From the moment you arrive, the atmosphere transports you straight to the Greek islands — warm, lively, and effortlessly elegant, with beautiful views of the waterways and Burj Al Arab. The food is outstanding. Every dish is fresh, flavorful, and true to Greek tradition. The mezze selection is generous and perfectly balanced, the seafood is exceptionally fresh, and the grilled meats are cooked to perfection. Standout dishes include the octopus, saganaki, and the lamb — all bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Portions are very satisfying and ideal for sharing. Service is excellent: attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable without being intrusive. The team genuinely cares about the experience and offers great recommendations. Whether for a relaxed lunch, a romantic dinner, or a lively evening with friends, Taverna delivers consistently on food, atmosphere, and service. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates quality Greek cuisine in a stunning setting. Highly recommended.

Had dinner at Taverna Greek Kitchen in Souk Madinat and it was such a wonderful experience. The whole place has a beautiful, authentic aesthetic that instantly makes you feel like you’ve been transported to Greece, from the décor to the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. I started with the fried calamari, which was perfectly crisp and full of flavour. For my main, I had the chicken breast with a creamy feta sauce and fasolada purée, and it was absolutely delicious, rich, comforting, and beautifully presented. To finish, I had the vanilla and pistachio ice cream, the perfect light and refreshing way to end the meal. The service was fantastic throughout, attentive without being intrusive. A must-visit spot if you’re craving authentic Greek food in a stunning setting.

Nice place with good service and a pleasant atmosphere. The food was tasty, slightly above average, but not particularly memorable. Some of dishes were modern takes on Greek food,well presented, but I prefer more simple look with strong flavors. Still, it’s a good option if you’re looking for a stylish Greek spot in Dubai.

A very nice restaurant with a great atmosphere right on the water. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My husband's allergies were handled easily and very professionally. We will definitely come back.
