Amazing, authentic high quality Greek food. A family owned restaurant, the owner is the loveliest person who has worked tirelessly in the restaurant for the past 45years. You can taste the tradition and feel the care. A must visit! Sit outside, feel the breeze and escape the busy Rhodes streets.

The most delicious food we tried in Rhodes. The Moussaka is excellent, excellent wine and great service. Good quality and fair prices. We liked it so much we came back the following night. Definitely worth it.

This place is SO good, we’ve had almost everything on the menu and everything is amazing. They have a tonne of great vegetarian options too. The dolmades, the squid and the pita bread with the dips are especially great. Highly recommend getting lots of dishes to share. The restaurant interior is cute also

I absolutely loved the place and the whole experience I had. I dined just after 5pm and I was the only one in restaurant food nice and fresh and real taste of Greece. The owner was amazing recommended the house wine locally made in Rhodes and recommended few traditional dishes worth trying as a first time visitor in Greece. The atmosphere was amazing everyone so carrying the owner the waiter and the cooks whole staff was soo kind and sweet I did get a heartwarming birthday wishes followed by a piece of cake and a birthday song. Great place I do recommend to everyone🥰

The food was delicious, fresh and such a generous portion. The service was second to none. It was great atmosphere and the music was at the right level all in amazing time. Would highly recommend and I’ll be going back

Fantastic authentic Greek food, portion sizes are very generous and taste amazing. Off the beaten track and hidden away from all the touristy places! The 4 dips and pitta was a fantastic accompaniment to the mains as well as a great sharing starter. The Greek salad is super fresh, ripe tomatoes busting with flavour and amazing peppers compliment the rich and tangy feta. We had grilled prawns for main which were cooked over flame and to perfection! The chicken souvlaki was super moist and really flavourful too. We’ll be rolling out after this amazing meal.

One of my favorite places to eat in Rodos. The food is always perfectly cooked and very tasty. I’ve been here around 3-4 times and it never disappoints. It’s a very familiar, cozy place. Good service and most importantly, amazing food. Thanks!

Taverna Kostas is an authentic restaurant serving delicious traditional Greek food. When visiting Rhodes I gave this restaurant a try and was so impressed that I came back a second time. The atmosphere is warm and makes you feel like you’re in someone’s home as opposed to a restaurant. The staff are beyond friendly, and the service was very quick. In terms of food, my group ordered a number of things off the menu and were consistently blown away by each one. The chicken souvlaki dinner was extremely juicy and came with a healthy portion of salad, rice, fries, and tzatziki. The lamb over mashed potatoes was super tender and very flavorful. The fried feta in phyllo pastry with sesame and honey was an amazing starter. The calamari was crispy and fresh. My favourite mains were the moussaka the pardisia salad. The moussaka was very tasty and extremely authentic, reminding me of my own Γιαγιά’s cooking. The pardisia salad was a fresh blend of mango, green apple, tangy vinaigrette, and grilled manouri cheese over mixed greens which absolutely blew me away. Despite the restaurant not having a cocktail or wine list, we tried the house red and white wines and were extremely satisfied with both. The red wine was a perfect dry while the white was flavourful and more full-bodied. The freshness of the food paired with the promptness of the service and overall environment will make Taverna Kostas a repeat choice for me when coming back to Rhodes!!
