"A local landmark, Taverna Trilussa has been a Trastevere hangout for nearly a century. The ivy-covered entrance opens to a lively family-run trattoria where prosciutto and dried herbs decorate the walls alongside the usual trappings of vintage photos, books, and paintings. Taverna Trilussa is most famous for its tableside serving of typical Roman dishes like bucatini all’Amatriciana and cacio e pepe , theatrically tossed about in a frying pan or even a Parmesan wheel. Celebrating More Than 100 Years! This classic Roma restaurant certainly doesn’t need reviews to stay in business. That’s because they serve classic Italian food in a very relaxed setting. We say outdoors and highly recommend. We started with incredible grilled artichokes and mixed salad. They have rice balls and fried zucchini on the menu, however we passed because we had to make room for their pastas. Their signature ravioli that’s been on the menu from the beginning was as good as you would expect. We had the olive oil bacon infused pasta as well. Yum! The one thing they don’t have is fresh fish which was a disappointment. We shared a filet and it was tasty along with roasted potatoes. Wine list is impressive with some selections over 5000 EU. Happily, they have a very tasty house red. And don’t order a martini, they don’t make them! Overall, excellent Italian restaurant that will be around for at least another 100 years.

The venue is top of the top. Incredible flavors of true Italian cuisine. The ravioli are mind-blowing, millefeuille as well. Warm greeting and very amiable conversation with the staff makes the place stand out from the very numerous tavernas in Rome. An exceptional place, hope to visit it again sometime.

place deserves a much higher rating! Our group of seven had the chance to try a variety of dishes, and every single one was outstanding. The truffle pasta, focaccia, and desserts—especially the chocolate mousse, millefeuille, and tiramisu—were hands down the best we had in Rome. The service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was both stylish and cozy, with an elegant touch. Skip the tourist traps in Trastevere and come here instead—you won’t regret it! I would absolutely return when I’m back in Rome, and everyone at our table felt the same.

You pay for the experience here, so prices are higher than other restaurants in the area. The pasta is very nice but nothing amazing, and if you add a starter your bill will be quite high. Both of our pasta dishes tasted quite similar which was a shame. Loved the tennis racquets and photos on the wall though.

Excellent restaurant in the middle of a very touristy part of Trastevere. Everything we had was top notch, appetizers, pastas, desserts. Our favorites were the truffle carbonara, the signature ravioli dish, and the millefeuille cream with strawberries dessert. 10/10.

Yes, it's a bit pricey. No, the service is not good it's actually excellent...very friendly, extremely professional, and helpful. If you order a wine and the waiter suggests another selection in the same price range say yes. If the description of a particular dish contains the word 'truffle', order it. Seriously, just go.

The food was amazing! We had the Amatriciana, Cacio e Pepe, and the Taglioni of the Prefect. We loved all of them, but our favorite was definitely the Taglioni of the Prefect – a must-try! The ambiance, interior, and decoration were also very nice, creating a cozy and authentic Italian atmosphere. The only minor issue for us was the heavy food smell inside, but other than that, everything was a solid 10/10. A truly authentic Italian experience!
