I had my first experience at this spa during a Glen Ellyn Chamber event, and it was absolutely wonderful! I received a luxurious hand treatment—my hands are still glowing—and I also got to relax in the Himalayan salt halo therapy room. I left feeling like I could breathe more deeply and clearly. The atmosphere was so calming and inviting. I’m already planning to come back for a custom facial. Highly recommend if you’re looking to treat yourself or just reset and recharge!

Marlen was amazing!! I cannot wait to come back next month. She did a customized facial and eyebrows wax on me and I am glowing stepping out of the spa. I had an incredible massage with Tanja! She was amazing—so attentive, respectful, and clearly very skilled. From the start, she made me feel completely at ease, listening to my needs and focusing on exactly what my body needed. Her pressure was absolutely perfect—not too light, not too intense—and she adjusted seamlessly throughout the session. I felt completely relaxed and refreshed afterward, both physically and mentally. Tanja’s professionalism and intuitive touch made this one of the best massages I’ve ever had. I was so impressed, I booked my next appointment right away! Highly recommend her!

This is hands down the best, most detailed facial I’ve had. My skin is extremely sensitive, and Nim took the time to learn about my skin issues and help offer guidance on potential solutions, AND, she put extra effort in learning about the products I use so we can identify possible issues. It’s great to get a facial here, but it’s even better to go on journey with someone you can trust with your skin, and Nim definitely has my trust. I highly recommend her and Tavoos Spa!

I had a lovely and relaxing facial at Tavoos Spa. The spa itself is beautifully decorated and the treatment room was cozy, clean and comfy. I enjoyed all the treatments and left feeling pampered and very relaxed. The owner and staff were all very helpful and knowledgeable.

Fantastic facial by Nim and massage by Jazzmine! The facial was probably the best I’d ever had- so relaxing and I felt amazing! Planned a last minute spa day and Tavoos delivered. I will definitely be back!

Hidden gem! My partner got me a GC for Tavoos and I was truly pleasantly surprised (I can be quite picky and have pretty high standards—it can be hard for him to nail it lol). Lovely spa, great services. I’ve had a massage and lash/brow tinting so far. Masseuse was excellent/pressure was perfect. Took me a while to book it as availability wasn’t great but I just saw they’re opening the schedule up for more massage, so that’s great. Tinting was done by the owner (which I didn’t know until I tried to tip her). She’s skilled and also has great bedside manner. I nearly fell asleep in the chair I was so relaxed. Will definitely be back!

I met Margie for the first time and fell in love with her knowledge and passion for skin care. This woman is full of facts and will steer you to what is needed for your face. What a gem she is! An incredible resource in the western suburbs!

I booked a 60 minute CBD massage with Jazmine and it was wonderful! I was having some neck pain and it was nearly 90% better when I left. I will definitely be returning!

Love coming here for massages regularly! The staff at their reception area is always very friendly and welcoming and I have never had a bad massage. Always leave feeling very relaxed. Their sauna is great too!

She made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire experience, explaining each step and making it feel like a truly personalized treatment. I purchased the salt cave room on Groupon. First time visit for this particular business. Nice location. Reasonable prices. Very relaxing, warm and inviting space. The salt cave is small but very comfortable. You are in a salt cave with relaxing surround music, salt crystals that flows through your lungs to help with your sinuses. I came out breathing so much better. I had been having a lot of sinuses issues. After, my session I felt so much better and unclog my nostrils to help me breathe. The service was nice and pleasant. Tavoos also has many other services for you to come and enjoy. A great place to come and enjoy some therapeutic and relaxing time. I will be back to enjoy another self-care day.

This week was my first visit to Tavoos Spa, and I had a wonderful experience. Diana waxed, shaped, and tinted my brows with precision. I spent time in the salt room relaxing afterward and left feeling amazingly relaxed, and my sinuses felt great. I look forward to returning for a massage soon.

I have lived by this place a long time and didn't realize everything they offered! Don't sit on this hidden / ( not that hidden ) gem! I had my brow tinted and shaped and it was amazing! The staff are wonderful and the facility is sooo relaxing! I LOVE saunas and I am excited to try everything that this spa has to offer. I already booked other appointments!

This is exactly what I was looking for! There are so many generic massage parlors that have limited options and only offer massages. Not here. They offer everything from massage, salt scrubs, yoga, infrared sauna, and even Reiki sessions. I had a 60 minute massage with one of the girls and was extremely happy. Everyone was very kind, and welcoming. After only one time visiting, I already know I will be a regular.

Went to Tavoos on May 7th for my husband's birthday and did the halotherapy salt room. Not only were we impressed by the room and its effects, we were thoroughly impressed by the staff who were so courteous and just all around impressive. My husband was having knee issues that day and also suffers from horrible anxiety. Not only did his knees feel better, but his mind stopped racing and his stress levels hit an all time low (the good kind). He was the most relaxed and happy that I've seen him in 6 years. The spa is very clean, and they did a wonderful job of ensuring that they kept it sanitary. More people need to know about this!

I live out of state and essentially plan my trips around my services with Marji when in town. She is expertly knowledgeable, gentle, and truly individualizes services for her clients.

Tavoos is a hidden gem in the area! Everyone is so friendly and the owner is such a sweet woman and SO knowledgeable. I picked her brain a bit and she knew the answer to everything - amazing! The Infrared sauna here is the safest and best you will find in the immediate area. Extremely effective! All around amazing place!!

Tavoos is unique and amazing experience. I was referred to this place by a friend and I am now a life time customer. Customer service is amazing, quality of work is superior. Being inside this place, will take you to a different level of comfort, spirit and relaxation. Love the Sauna and salt room. Luxury service, therapeutic and professional work. The service and quality at Tavoos is impeccable. I am getting their permanent hair removal electrolysis treatment and it's phenomenal. I tried laser hair removal from different groupons that I've purchased and being a Persian/Italian, it didn't work at all and seemed to increase the amount of hair that I had. The owner, Marji, was out on leave and was not accepting new clients at the time but allowed me to start my treatments anyway which I was very thankful for since I was in crisis mode. I've been getting treatments once a week my results are very significant. I don't know why I didn't do it sooner. Also, Marji has fixed a lot of skin blemishes and given me at home remedies for prevention. My doctor tells me to put a hot towel on a blemish and Marji gets down to the root cause. I highly recommend Tavoos and anyone that Marji endorses because she is a skin wizard!!

Having chronic sinus issues, along with 3 surgeries~ Tavoos Salt Room- has been my complete Blessing! After 1 session, I feel the infection breaking up. I almost didn't want to believe it myself- but I have yet gone back onto antibiotics! Tavoos is a complete Gem! I also tried the tightening sculpting treatment. I noticed results after the first treatment. This seems to be the most effective, least invasive and cost efficient way to reduce cellulite that I have run into. I recommend giving it a try.

Tavoos was very relaxing. Service was excellent. We were greeted promoted and were given consent forms to sign before entering the sauna. There are cookies and coffee available in the waiting area. They offered water before and after each session. You are given a small locker for your things and they offer a robe to wear. Two people sit comfortably in the infrared sauna room. We were able to adjust the temperature ourselves and the light shined different colors for different settings. The salt room itself is beautiful! Dim lights, zero-gravity chairs, and crystallized salt, and beach-like sounds put you in a great relaxed state of mind. My face was glowing when it was all over.

This will be a two part review as I have had multiple services here. The salt room is amazing. I've purchased their packages and gone to numerous salt room sessions. My asthma is better, my eczema is gone, and my allergies are way less. A couple times I had a cold and after going to the salt room, I felt back to normal the next day! I also get depressed and after a couple sessions, I actually felt better. The results of this salt room go beyond just relaxation. There are 0 gravity chairs that you recline in and the room has 7 tons of himalayan salt. When you go in the decor is beautiful and the receptionist will offer you something to drink. Your first session they explain the benefits of the salt room and how it works. Now, I've been to a few salt rooms and at this one, I could feel a difference right away. I fall asleep in there and it's so relaxing. I also have the best sleep that evening and see an immediate difference in my skin. They also sell salt products to use at home and tell you what to do so that you can help any issues you may have, like eczema etc. They may be more expensive than some other salt rooms, but you get what you pay for. And they do offer packages & memberships, which really do make it affordable. I've also had a massage & 2 facials. The estheticians are great. The owner, Marji, makes sure to explain what you need to get done in order to get the results you are looking for. Kim does an amazing job with the facials and my skin was just glowing! They update and tell you what your skin routine should be daily. I got a massage from Geri. She is sooo good. I like my massage to be deep and hard and she does an amazing job. I like the pressure and she got all the knots out of my back. I was a little intimidated by her look, but her work is amazing. I bought a GC for my husband! This is a classy spa. They are super friendly and very knowledgeable! I've been back many times and refer a lot of my friends. Highly recommend it!

I found this lovely little heaven literally, almost in my backyard in Glen Ellyn near Roosevelt and Park Blvd. I have frequented many salt therapy places and found this one to be the most effective. The method of delivery is far more effective, hence the significant investment the owner must have made(?!?) I hesitated scheduling at first, as the fee for admission was slightly higher then some other similar places. It was clear to me that after my first visit, the profound impact, sleep restoration, extreme skin relief/healing (Eczema and Psoriasis) and absolute over all relaxation and time I spent for myself (I rarely do)...I'm worth it! I did the membership for the unlimited, it is only. My goal being to visit a realistic 10 times each months, pans out to cost me ONLY $10 a month. The monthly cost is FAR LESS if you do the membership. I also met the owner. I am passionate to support women in business, my community local businesses and people who professionally and ethically care deeply to do the absolute best possible for each client. The ladies who work here are very well educated in the products and the cause/effect as to how this business can serve your needs. I was completely impressed. I plan to do a girls night also, as anyone can rent out the cave for a holiday get together and support the relaxation and care of loved ones this way! LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! Margie cares greatly to do the right thing, it is clear.

Tavoos is a gem!, as other reviewers have said. I have been going to the Tavoos salt room for years- bringing anyone who will go with me. Marji is an absolute gem. She is a true professional and knows so much about halotherapy and all her products. If you need anything, Marji will help. Salt rooms are so good for the body. This salt room is pricier than most, but you get what you pay for and there are so many deals that it works out (Mon and Wed 1/2 price!). Different membership options too- If I lived closer I would definitely do that! You really should try Tavoos!

I went to the salt room to help me with my allergies. I had heard that this is a natural method and I was tired of taking over the counter meds. I went for 7 sessions and I noticed that my nasal passages had definitely cleared and my eyes were not so itchy. What is it about these salt rooms? I want one in my house! I also got a makeup session from Dania and I noticed that she kind of looks like the Kardashian clan. So I asked for that look. I walked out of there with these big eyes and high cheekbones, my friends said that I should learn how to mimic her. I am signing up for lessons now. The facility is also very clean and the staff is friendly. I love this place!

When you walk into Tavoos you know that the experience you are about to have will be like nothing else. I usually wait to write reviews for spas until I have been able to visit more than once and trust me you will be visiting more than once!! I initially went in for a facial since most of my friends only swear on coming here. BEST FACIAL EVER!! After to speaking to the estheticians in regards to a few other issues I was having she suggested a session in their salt room. I've heard of salt rooms before but had yet to experience one. After my facial she walked me to the salt room and explained all the benefits. Only a few minutes of being in there I knew I needed to come back, which I did the next day! Let's just say if you're looking for a relaxing atmosphere to help naturally heal or at least alleviate stress - GO TO THE SALT ROOM!! You'll thank me later

Tavoos is a Glen Ellyn Gem. Superb customer service, and a wide range of services, most of which I have tried! Waxing, massage with a specialty for those with chronic pain, electrolysis, makeup consultation and the largest salt room in North America. The salt room is a wonderful relaxation and great to keep up your health. The spa has a wonderful feeling, is always immaculate and provides consistently excellent customer service. Margie, the creator and owner of Tavoos is a gracious and talented woman with years of experience in skin care, and the utilization of the healing properities of Halotherapy. I have found all of the people on her team to be very well trained, skilled and gracious. If you want a respite in your daily life, and a wonderful place to receive treatments, this is the spot. The halotherapy has also really helped a lot for sinus and skin issues.

I tried the salt room at Tavoos for the first time this month because allergies this season were terrible. I even brought my 2 year old daughter and she was sneezing and having sinus issues. After the first time I really didn't think it would work but I did feel more relaxed when I left. The next day I woke up and I wasn't sneezing or coughing as much and my daughters nose wasn't as runny or congested. So I went back a second time that next week and after the second time my daughters sneezing and coughing and runny nose was almost completely gone and my sinus issues and allergies were 90% better we have been going every week since then. It's obviously something you have to do every week to see results but its worth it. The salt room is one of a kind and has over 7 tons of organic Himalayan salt more then most salt rooms in Illinois and the generator they have sprays salt into the air to breathe and makes it more effective and therapeutic. I would highly recommend this to anyone suffering with any kind of respiratory ailments to try it. It's even 50% off Monday's and Wednesday's!!! There's no excuse not to try it!! :)

I highly recommend Tavoos. Marji is the owner. She has done permanent eye liner on me and it was the smartest thing I've done in a long time. She makes it easy and she explains the procedure to make you feel completely comfortable. I love not having to apply eye liner all the time. And because of my good experience with the eye liner, I decided to have Marji do my lips too. Again, I am so satisfied, so glad I did it. And if all that wasn't enough, Marji also tinted my eyelashes!! And did I mention the salt room? That is a wonderfully relaxing and beneficial experience. I have chronic pain due to 6 back surgeries and the salt room's 45 minute session is so soothing. Definitely recommend that experience.

Very caring in all areas, greeted warmly by staff and facial excellent. Was going to have Mose surgery the next day and Margie knew doctor and had worked with her which was very assuring.

I've been to many, many makeup workshops/classes, but none compare to Dania at Tavoos! She is truly a mastered makeup artist. During a one-on-one makeup consultation, she taught me shadowing techniques and eye tips for different occasions specifically tailored to my face. In one hour with Dania, I learned more than all of the past classes combined. Absolutely great experience!

This place is heavenly! I went to the salt room yoga and it was rejuvenating. I got the benefits of the salt room as well as the benefits of the yoga. Karen the instructor is great and really made me feel comfortable, this was only my third time doing yoga. I can't wait to go back!

Tavoos has a calming atmosphere and helpful staff, I plan on recommending this place to everyone. I went into the salt room with my toddler and was able to relax while she played with the toys provided. We can't wait to go back!

Booked a massage here, since I was really in need of some relief in my shoulders. I specified this to my massage therapist during the consultation. The massage was decent, but she barely touched my shoulders the entire hour. I came to have that area specifically worked on and was very clear about this before she started. Disappointed overall.

Dania @ Tavoos does the most amazing makeup! I hired her to make me up for a huge party I was hosting. She was fast, friendly and honestly my makeup never looked better - and even more impressive - I never had to touch up the entire night. I highly recommend her for dramatic, day time or any event that you need to look and feel gorgeous.

Tavoos is my Natural CURE for Psoriasis! My psoriasis had gotten so bad and spread to the point that I was considering going on a biologic last fall (60% covered). Then I started going to Himalayan salt therapy where I sat in a salt room for an hour every other week at Tavoos. While this is not cheap, Tavoos offers package deals and I also bought a deal on Living Social. I did this over the winter months, typically the worst for psoriasis, and it really helped. However, since March 1st - and per the recommendation of the Tavoos owner, I have been using a Himalayan salt bar in replace of going to the salt spa to save $. The key to using the salt bar is to finish your shower first, turn the water off, and then gently rub the salt bar over all affected areas (while you are still wet)... then air dry. I've now been doing this once a week and my psoriasis has been an afterthought for the past couple of months. Tavoos sells these salt bars for about $6 and they last about 6 weeks... so when using once a week this is only costing me $1 a week to rid myself of psoriasis. Had a Livingsocial deal for to enjoy the salt cave for 2 people. This isn't my first salt cave so I already knew what to expect. Tavoos has the typical set up with the zero gravity chairs. There are lockers for you to lock up your valuables, you also must remove your shoes. We had socks on so they didn't provide any booties but we were given hair nets. Also, the whole time we were in our session (we were the only ones), we couldn't help to notice the loud humming coming from the salt vent in the wall. It was very distracting which made it difficult to relax (last salt cave I went to I actually fell asleep!).

I absolutely love Tavoos! It is such an inviting and calming atmosphere. The staff always goes above and beyond to make you feel relaxed and comfortable. The salt room is definitely something everyone should try. It is such a beautiful room and experience. I always feel so revived after a visit. I have had other treatments there as well such as facials and I have to say they have all been fantastic. Marji is so knowledgeable and helpful with whatever your skin care needs may be. You will not be disappointed!

What a beautiful, unique experience! The spa setting was very elegant and the salt room was absolutely beautiful! The giant salt stones on the walls, the low lighting, the calming music, the comfortable reclining chairs, and the massaging salt pebble floor was a relaxing, centering experience. The session seemed to fly by and I could have spent another hour in that room!
