Taylor's Place Tortuguero Costa Rica

What a beautiful, special location - hidden but not far away from the main road. The food was extraordinary delicious and the service great. Thanks for a wonderful evening!

We came for a finer dining experience and were not disappointed. Taylor’s place is a bit off the beaten path and hard to find but use your Google maps skills and you’ll arrive. The ambiance is so tropical it’s almost magical. The service was excellent and the staff were very attentive. I had the “grilled chicken” which was a butterflied chicken breast cooked and seasoned to perfection with delicious fresh veggies cooked a little on the crisper side. The Garlic mash was also great. My wife had the “Shrimp pasta” that had at least 8 large pieces of fresh shrimp and the pasta was cooked perfectly. We both came away very full, satisfied, and impressed with this hidden Gem.

We went here for dinner. It was a very friendly welcome. Small menu, with fresh dishes. The atmosphere was very quiet and cozy. The dishes were delicious. It is perhaps the best restaurant in Tortuguera in a slightly higher price range.

An absolute gem. Tucked off the main strip. The building is beautiful, very atmospheric with beautiful decor. The food was delicious , exceptionally high quality. I had the vegetarian meal which was perfect and the red wine that was served just delicious. Staff were very attentive. It was a little more expensive but well worth it. Definitely one to try.

Beautiful restaurant, very romantic. Friendly and charming service. We ordered the beef and fish dishes which were both delicious.

Taylor's Place is a hidden gem in Tortuguero! The ambiance and the decoration of the place are exceptional, sweet,cozy and with attention to detail (lots of candlelight so very romantic!), and the service we received from Taylor and his team was excellent! They were very kind and attentive. The menu is simple, not many options (which is a huge plus for us since we find it guarantees good quality! Better few and great than many and mediocre), and every choice we made was excellent ! Great blend of flavors and delicious result ! The cocktails were a wonderful refreshing addition to our experience. Indeed it is quite expensive , but with great value for money, so if your budget allows it then make sure to visit Taylor's Place! Especially recommended for couples looking for a romantic special occasion:)))

The restaurant is very pretty and calm, built around a tree in the middle. The food was amazing (we had the steak with tamarind sauce). It may be a bit more expensive (15'000 for the steak, in cash - no credit card possible) but it's well worth it. The service was extrememly friendly as well.

Super beautiful and romantic restaurant! It was off the main strip so a little hard to find, but Google Maps directions were accurate and we appreciated the quiet. Our food, drinks, and the service were all perfect. Definitely worth a stop while in Tortuguero!
