I have been a couple of times now. I went to the spa with a group of friends. We booked it out 16 of us. Warrior water women. We had 2 hours of bliss. Splashing into the Loch off the shoot, then into the huge hot tub. Then, into the steam room, then sauna over and over. Had great fun. I will definitely be back again soon. I've never used the hotel, so I can't comment on any of those facilities. There is a nice restaurant too. All good I recommend.

Decided to try this place as we were staying nearby and we were not disappointed. A lovely cosy place. Staff were very attentive. Food was excellent. Fish and chips were very tasty as was the Monkfish on a lentil bed. Pizza was done just right. Desserts were amazing. Winter berries with pavlova and Lemon posset with shortbread were so tangy and tasty. A lovely meal

A totally fabulous evening at the hotbox. We loved it and we highly recommend. Welcoming staff. Luxurious feel with atmospheric touches. Fire pit and relaxation treats. The adjoining restaurant was picturesque with sound menu. Great pre or post spa treat

Unfortunately, our meal at the Ferryman's was not a great experience.|My husband let the server know that he has an intolerance to gluten, onions and garlic. We ordered 2 sharing seafood platters (for 4 of us) to start. There was garlic on some items of seafood which he could not eat and we were not warned about.|My husbands main was the steak and chips. Again, we said no gluten, onions or garlic. The steak came covered in garlic butter and had to be sent back. He asked just to have a plate of chips which never arrived. Very poor.|The rest of us thought or food was OK but not worth the prices charged. |The staff did their best and we have no complaints about the service. BUT, the kitchen should have been much more on the ball regarding food intolerances. Really not good enough.

Great experience - novel - great place to relax. Beautiful setting, great facilities, very attentive spa. Loved the outdoor seating area with the sheepskin rugs - very comfortable. Steam room, sauna and hot tub were fabulous. Great addition to a relaxing break.

It's a beautiful spot on the loch, so that makes the trip worth it. Loved the Hotbox and slide, great fun. Only downside was the 20 people squeezed in that wee pool and trying to get drinks whilst there. But still loved that part and would go back.|Ferryman food wasn't great. First time I've smothered my fish in ketchup for flavour. Missing an opportunity there. Also not being able to order take out without a table reservation. Disappointing, and just a bit ridiculous. Don't offer takeout if you can't cope with the orders. Simple.|Apartment was nice. Leaky roof but not much was mentioned about that. Still kept my breakages deposit for 4 days! The hottubs were not great. One working jet in a tub for 4. Felt like we were sitting in a bath together which was a bit awkward. Did try to call about it but never got an answer as reception closes early.|Wouldn't return to apartments or restaurant but watersports and hotbox are great. Location makes it. But don't go expecting luxury.

Took a day trip to the spa. The location is beautiful, as long as you don't mind a bit of a drive on single track roads. The spa was very relaxing, extremely clean and the staff were all super friendly. The advice they gave was also really helpful in terms of using the hot and cold facilities to benefit your body and mind. They limit the number of visitors, so it's not at all over crowded. The drinks at the spa side bar were delicious, definitely try the cocktails! We also ate in the restaurant and couldn't fault it at all. It was a wonderful visit all round.

Excellent spa, well designed and situated with friendly staff. Only downside is hygiene of users - everyone thought nothing of going straight from the sauna, or even toilets, straight into the hot tub without so much as a handwashing never mind a shower. Very amorous couple in the hot tub too with everyone politely looking elsewhere. Visitors from Europe or Asia may be slightly revolted but British/Irish or Russians shouldn’t notice.
