It definitely deserves a five star not only for the food but also the good service and the nice ambiance of the place. The chef Marco Spinoza is amazing, he's always searching for recipes that show more of the Peruvian cuisine besides the ceviche, and the results are great. One of the best restaurants in town.

I have nothing to complain about the food or service here. Waiters have always been super kind to us. We used to come here at least once a month for years. We left the state for two years, and gotten back excited to come enjoy the restaurant again. We saw that the entire restaurant had new furniture, and prices had almost doubled. The lomo used to be RS84 reais is now RS142! It's just too much of a pricehike! The restaurant was beautiful before, why spend all that money on redesigning things if you need to increase the prices?? I understand there is inflation, but this is just too much. We did not even want to order anymore and simply left. Its a shame! If you want customers back... lower the prices, find new suppliers and go for more volume!

I had the shrimp for an appetizer and it was the most delicious shrimp dish I have ever had. The texture of the crispy potatoes and mushroom was fabulous. The octopus entree was also very good. It was served with the most delicious herb truffle risotto. Just life-changing. The cocktail I ordered, la vida, was very strong. The peanut dessert was quite good with fresh, crispy pastry. The waiters were quick and responsive. However, the waiters did not properly pour or recork the sparkling wine that I ordered. Nobody in Brasilia seems to know how to do it right so I don't hold it against them. The filet mignon in lomo saltado was well done, way too overcooked and hard to chew. The onions in the dish were undercooked and the taste was overpowering. The sauce was also quite bland. I had better lomo saltado at Lima and at El Paso. The restaurant was also very loud and I had to shout to speak so I wouldn't recommend it for a social meal. It also took 45 minutes to receive the appetizer and a further 30 minutes after that for the entrees and it wasn't very busy at that point. Overall, I would visit it again but next time I'll try one of the many ceviche they offer.

Food, service, ambiance - the whole thing is sincerely great. Unfortunately too far from my place (Brussels) to enjoy it a couple of time per year but would do so otherwise. Highly recommended!

Great food. Great prices and great service. We had a very gentle Portuguese waiter that served us very well. The food is just delicious. Great job overhaul.

During my visit, I found the food to be good but not truly delicious. The dishes lacked that extra flair to make them exceptional. Additionally, I couldn't shake off the feeling that the restaurant lacked a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The ambiance seemed somewhat sterile and uninviting, which affected the overall dining experience negatively. Despite some positive aspects, like the cocktails and decent food, the lack of coziness left me feeling underwhelmed with the overall experience.

Here we enjoyed our last night in Brasilia. Our lamb and beef steak were perfect. The list of wine went on forever and a chat with the knowledgeable waiter made the decision quicker. Thank you Taypa folks. Yours is a special place.

This is a great restaurant but I would never recommend it as a Peruvian restaurant! I spend many years in Peru and I was very disappointed! Their food was well presented and good, with very lame and plain flavors that didn’t resemble any peruvian dish. Popular Peruvian dishes such as Ceviche lacked body… peruvian flavors. Their Lomo Saltado possible need it some vinagre or lime and some flaming of the meet. Nothing even remotely closed to a real peruvian dish or a Chifa dish as Google shows. 😕👎
