A wonderful, out of this world place. Great staff, lovely cats and dog. Fine food. Lack of electricity: not a problem (getting a cold drink is, frankly). Mobile coverage (Orange) is OK. The views and location are stunning. It was very quiet when we visited. They are building, expanding, let’s hope that does not create a busy little village?

Staying at Taziry was the right choice to escape the city noise. |Being completely off grid, in a peaceful place with a great energy, food that is criminally good, fire place every night, great hosts, and still having the availability to have tours to town and sightseeing whenever I wanted. ||From my 2 nights experience I suggest you to:| not miss great sunrise view at Taziry where you can watch different birds, strolling around cats and the calm lake.| |Ask for Chef Omar's food ( the best in Siwa and actually one of the best inEgypt from everything I tried last month) ||Visit the Templeton of Amun, Um Ubaida, and the Salt lakes! ||Taziry has a spacious library even if a bit abandoned it gave it a very special charm. Books I found were in Arabic, English, German and French. I found a book from 1950 about Siwa oasis which gave me many insights and information prior to my cultural tours ✨||I bought my tours through them and my transportation to the station to take bus to Cairo. The driver/ guide was very friendly and showed us around many beautiful gems. ||I felt very safe myself as a Woman there I could feel am having great service and great respect as well. I never felt like locking my doors for once even when I would leave for tours. |||A Don't do: |One mistake I did was when leaving to Siwa center to take my bus to Cairo I only said take me to the bus station. But there are actually two different stops one for the coach ( big) busses and one for the small shuttles each run by a different company so the driver took me to a different stop but that was on me and luckily we had enough time for him to drive me to the correct place and didn't really charge me anything more. ||Do not expect electricity access everywhere at Taziry. Well after all the point is to be an eco place with a grounded energy. ||I chargee me devices once a day at a charging point at the reception.

The food is enough to make you want to go back to this place. It's mostly Moroccan, and damn, the chef can COOK!! Every night, we had a 5 course meal with a salad, a bastilla, chicken, beef, and rice, every day being a different preparation of these. And dessert, of course. Exceptional! The rooms were clean and comfortable. Candles are provided. The bathroom had an automatic light, which was convenient. There's hot water at the property as well. The pool wasn't very inviting because it was dark and murky, but this could also be because they don't use chemicals. Service was top-notch. The manager was always around to give you assistance if you need it. There's a charger at the reception to charge your devices. The location is beautiful. It's a 20 min drive from the main town, and most of the route is tarred. The last bit, which is not, prepared you for the remote feeling you want when you book this place. The view from Taziry is also spectacular. We loved it!

Taziry was an amazing place to stay—truly the perfect way to experience Siwa. The village overlooks the stunning Siwa Lake and a nearby mountain that's great for hiking.||We booked directly with Taziry, and they took care of everything—from transportation from Cairo to organizing tours, activities, and even a dinner reservation at one of Siwa’s most popular camps.||The food at Taziry was exceptional. Their chef is incredibly talented, and every meal was delicious.||The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the whole place feel like home.

the place was like the name; an oasis of peace, of rediscovery, of the unique; excellent accommodation conditions, relative to the location, excellent food; excellent services; I would gladly recommend it for a stay. Safaris can be organized, visits to neighboring areas, saltwater and thermal pools, salt therapy, local traditions.

Our stay at Taziri Hotel in Siwa was nothing short of magical. Nestled amidst the breathtaking beauty of the Siwa Oasis, the hotel offers a serene and authentic experience that perfectly blends comfort with the natural charm of the desert||The food deserves a special mention.||The staff at Taziri went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. When I mentioned that I had little kids, they prepared special food just for them, ensuring everyone felt cared for. And here’s what truly touched our hearts: when I mentioned that it was my daughter's birthday, the staff surprised us the next day with a beautifully made birthday cake. We didn’t ask for it, but they went out of their way to make the occasion memorable. The cake was amazing, both in presentation and taste—a moment we’ll cherish forever.
