Staying at Taziry was the right choice to escape the city noise. |Being completely off grid, in a peaceful place with a great energy, food that is criminally good, fire place every night, great hosts, and still having the availability to have tours to town and sightseeing whenever I wanted. ||From my 2 nights experience I suggest you to:| not miss great sunrise view at Taziry where you can watch different birds, strolling around cats and the calm lake.| |Ask for Chef Omar's food ( the best in Siwa and actually one of the best inEgypt from everything I tried last month) ||Visit the Templeton of Amun, Um Ubaida, and the Salt lakes! ||Taziry has a spacious library even if a bit abandoned it gave it a very special charm. Books I found were in Arabic, English, German and French. I found a book from 1950 about Siwa oasis which gave me many insights and information prior to my cultural tours ✨||I bought my tours through them and my transportation to the station to take bus to Cairo. The driver/ guide was very friendly and showed us around many beautiful gems. ||I felt very safe myself as a Woman there I could feel am having great service and great respect as well. I never felt like locking my doors for once even when I would leave for tours. |||A Don't do: |One mistake I did was when leaving to Siwa center to take my bus to Cairo I only said take me to the bus station. But there are actually two different stops one for the coach ( big) busses and one for the small shuttles each run by a different company so the driver took me to a different stop but that was on me and luckily we had enough time for him to drive me to the correct place and didn't really charge me anything more. ||Do not expect electricity access everywhere at Taziry. Well after all the point is to be an eco place with a grounded energy. ||I chargee me devices once a day at a charging point at the reception.
