Google
Loved the vibe, food and service here. We enjoyed their berry mojito, wood fired veggie pizza, tacos, chicken tortilla soup and flourless chocolate cake. The location is great as well. You can't go wrong with this place.

Brittany Murdock

Google
Had dinner here for the first time a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it. The cocktails were delicious and the atmosphere is great. Highly recommend the guac, braised beef short rib nachos, and the Honey Harissa Bowl. Service was quick and everyone was so kind and helpful.

Google
A party of four went right before Christmas. Nice selection of gluten-free options for those who need to be careful. Marked on menu and server was knowledgeable. Had chips and queso (GF), Brick Oven Salmon (GF) and chicken alfredo. All were delicious. Nice atmosphere.

Pablo Remedi

Google
Great atmosphere and excellent service. We got chicken Alfredo and thought it was very enjoyable. The only aspect we believed could be improved was the beer selection and the lack of variety in the menu. Other than that, a very good place to have dinner in

Google
Amazing spot to grab lunch or brunch! You do need to reserve a table before you get there but it is well worth a little planning in advance. We got some chips and queso as a starter and we loved them. They even brought us more chips when we ran out. Then for entrees we ordered the cheeseburger with a side of tortilla soup, and a sausage and peppercorn honey pizza, both delish.

Came here with my boyfriend for V-day. I was a little worried because our reservation was at 9:30PM and I figured the staff would’ve already had a long night, but they weren’t phased! All 3 dishes we ordered were delicious and everyone working there that we encountered was extremely nice and somehow still energetic. I will definitely be back!

Google
A delightful dinner spot in Cameron Village that never disappoints. Every menu item is a winner, but the tacos were an unexpected standout—highly recommend giving them a try! The cocktail menu is just as impressive, perfectly complementing the warm and inviting atmosphere. Can’t wait to return! Extras: Good for date night or small groups, plenty of parking, indoor or outdoor seating, perfect for drinks & appetizers

Google
Tazza for a long time has been a go to and we absolutely love picking up dinner I just picked up my food and noticed quite a few discrepancies including issues with toppings on my three pizzas (ordered two salads too) which has been an ongoing issue for several orders now and I haven’t reviewed or reached out to management . All three pizzas barely have sausage on them (and some slices barely are covered in cheese) compared to other times and one pie is significantly smaller than the rest so quality is inconsistent which is frustrating I hope management reaches out to me because it’s been such an ongoing issue

Yelp
We were in the area for a concert in the downtown section of Raleigh, but wanted to do a little shopping in the Village district, so we tried Tazza. Loved the vibe walking in. The place was very busy at lunchtime on Saturday. The pizza and tacos (my favorite) looked amazing on the menu. We started off with a couple Caesar salads and a side of roasted beets. Yum. Then, we tried the Freestyle pizza with caramelized onions and mushrooms, 2 white pizzas, and the Mixed Tacos with a side. I like that you can order the tacos individually and mix and match them. Everything was delicious!! The pizzas were tasty and the tacos were yummy and spicy. Prices were very fair with portions being generous. Our server, Noah, was friendly and pleasant. Kinda wish I had this place closer to home in the Charlotte region. I would definitely come back here.

Yelp
Parking was a bit challenging on a Saturday at lunch. Otherwise, smooth sailing. The wait for outside seating was minimal. The food. The white pizza with sprinkles of bacon was amazing! Brick fired pizza with a sourdough crust, perfection! Nice area to relax with a cold beverage and enjoy the great food options. Next time I want to sit inside, the dim lighting would make for a great dinner date.

Yelp
Tazza Kitchen is a reliable choice for lunch. Every visit guarantees that my friends will find something they enjoy on the menu. This time, I was accompanied by my son and a friend, and we had a wonderful experience. I appreciate that Tazza Kitchen utilizes Resy for reservations, making the process simple and convenient. I needed to make adjustments to my reservation, which was easily accommodated. Upon arrival, I informed the staff of my reservation and was promptly seated. While our server was friendly, I felt a slight sense of being rushed. Although I can't recall his name, I sensed a subtle pressure to move quickly. Our reservation was for 12pm, and we finished around 1pm. For our meal, we ordered: - SIMPLE SALAD: mixed greens, roasted cherry tomato, crispy shallots, roasted shallot vinaigrette - SPICY SAUSAGE & BLACK PEPPER HONEY: aged provolone, fresh BUF mozzarella - CHEESEBURGER: Painted Hills beef, sharp cheddar, lettuce, tomato, dijonnaise, locally baked roll The pizza and salad were delicious. However, the unevenly cut bun made the cheeseburger challenging to eat. Despite this, we enjoyed our time and I would definitely return for another visit.

Yelp
Love Tazza! I moved away and was back in Raleigh with my family visiting friends. We had an entire day to do what we wanted, so we decided to drive around visit some spots we used to enjoy going to, Tazza being one of them! On this visit we got two orders of french fries that my kids absolutely devoured, Mixed Tacos, and a burger. As usual, everything was delicious and service was excellent. I really miss this place!

Yelp
Pleasant and welcoming staff. The restaurant was clean and spacious. The lighting was perfect. Our waiter was kind but had very few recommendations and was sometimes unsure. The cocktails were great! I enjoyed my Negroni and a glass of sparkling rose. For the food, I enjoyed the meatballs and cauliflower app. The pizza was also good. I customized one with spicy sausage, basil, and onions. I recommend Tazza for appetizers and good cocktails. I look forward to returning to enjoy more things from the menu.

Yelp
Picked up a make your own pizza as I was told by several people, including the staff, that it is the best item on their menu. I started with their base of fresh mozzarella and red sauce and added basil and black pepper honey. I was excited when I opened the box and took my first bite. The pizza was a thin crust with the crust getting thicker and bubblier around the edges. After that first bite, it was kind of downhill. There wasn't a lot of flavor in the toppings and parts of it that were very burnt. I don't think I will make it to eat those parts as I couldn't make it past a couple of slices as I was hungry. I ended up having to eat something else when I arrived home as I could not eat anymore of it. Three stars for the amazing customer service and cool atmosphere. I loved the chill vibe and decor. This looks like a cool date night spot. I just wish the pizza lived up to the hype as it would be great to come back here. It makes me sad.

Yelp
Favorite place to go to, we go here once a week! Everything on the menu is so good, can't wait to keep trying more. The service is always great and food comes out super quick even if it's packed.

Yelp
Tazza Kitchen in the Village District offers a creative drink and food menu featuring fresh ingredients and global inspired flavors. Tonight, I decided to dine on the patio which is a comfortable setting for lunch, dinner or drinks with friends. With Fall in the air the evenings get a little cool but don't let that stop you, they have heaters that turn on to keep the chill at bay. I went in knowing exactly what I wanted to eat because I may or may not have looked at the menu a few times. I wasn't originally planning on ordering a cocktail but the cocktail menu with the vibrant photos of the drinks spoke to me. I ordered the Cherry Mojito which was a delicious combination of white rum, cherry, mint and lime. For an appetizer I started with the Cast Iron Goat Cheese which was a creamy goat cheese marinara blend paired with buttered brick oven bread. I am a huge goat cheese fan, but I can't say I have had that combination before, and I loved it! For my Main I ordered the Baja Bowl, which is a blend of green rice, black beans, kale, tomatillo sauce, pickled red onions, crema and cilantro. Overall, I had great service, my waitress was very attentive, the food was great and is somewhere I would recommend anyone dining

Yelp
Yes, I went back for the white pizza. It did not disappoint! Beschamel sauce, caramelized onions, and crispy bacon made this unique pizza tasty and memorable. Perfect cook. I devoured it! Kudos to the chef. Busy for lunch (on a Wednesday). Making a reservation would be smart. Too chilly to sit outside. Sat at the bar instead of waiting for a table. Seated quickly at the bar. Excellent service by the bartender. Yes, I'll be back - in exactly 2 weeks ;)

Yelp
The food was incredible and so was the service. The lunch I had was super high quality at a great price!

Yelp
Tazza Kitchen is a small chain of American Diners mostly located in Virginia & the Carolinas. My friend who lives in South Carolina took us here, she likes the place and the food...I can see why. Good size venue, causal ambiance, friendly staff and fairly easy on the finances. #Adulting: ~ ONE FINE DAY - 4/5 READ THE MENU... CAREFULLY!! lol. They got me at; Watermelon & Hibiscus with lime. I completely missed the non- alcoholic part...lol. I was looking forward to a refreshing cocktail. #Grub: ~ CHIPS & GUACAMOLE - 4/5 Just a solid standard Chips & Guac, good stuff, just shy of amazing. ~ SPICY SAUSAGE & BLACK PEPPER HONEY PIZZA - 4/5 This was a nice surprise. The pizza already sounded very interesting to me, the addition of Honey just put it over the top. Very tasty. #TACOS: The plate of Tacos includes two, and for an upcharge, a Third. I wanted to try a couple of different Tacos, luckily you are able to choose two different Tacos for one dish. ~ CHILI MARINATED SHRIMP TACO - 4.5/5 An excellent combo. I didn't foresee this working out that well. I'm happy to say I was very wrong; Tasty and well balanced without being too spicy. The chimichurri slaw was delish, and I'm not usually a fan of mayo, but it worked in this case. ~ BEEF SHORT RIB TACO - 4.5/5 An other combo I wasn't too sure off ; wood oven braised beef, tomatillo chipotle salsa, queso fresco, cilantro lime onion slaw. Deliciousness! Good amount of meat in the Taco as well. I'm a fan. I like this place!

Yelp
Love the eclectic blend of spices and veggies in their dishes. The vegetarian options are interesting & taste great ( no boring salads and steamed veggie sides). Cool vibe! Great date night.

Yelp
The vibe is amazing and perfect for a girls night! We love to get drinks and bites here before shopping! Pizza is amazing and love the kale chilies salad along with the goat cheese appetizer!!

Yelp
Such a delicious dinner spot!! We went here for the first time as a double date with friends on a Friday evening. The inside is so cute and the staff is so friendly! We made reservations like the website recommended and were sat immediately at our time. We tried the shrimp and tuna ceviche as an appetizer and the homemade chips were so crisp and perfectly seasoned! My friend and I split the basil chicken Alfredo and the spicy sausage and black pepper honey pizza. The Alfredo was AMAZING. The sauce was perfect and so cheesy!! The pizza was also so flavorful and the perfect size to share between two people. We also both got the blackberry mule which was light and refreshing. My husband tried the harissa chicken bowl with adobo chicken and loved the spice level - not too much but definitely had a kick! This is a great place for a date night and we hope to go back soon!

Yelp
My husband said the steak and eggs on the brunch menu with the potato, was the best brunch he had ever had. So flavorful the potato's were amazing! He loved it!!! My salad was delicious, fresh, pizza was great too! Waitress was very nice and attentive. We sat outside on the patio it was a beautiful day.

Yelp
This is a welcome "third place" in the Village. They have a great vibe and decor, and a solid menu. The Pizza is "va bene," and made in a wood fired oven, so I was told. The Tacos were really good too and the Tiramisu was a great way to cap it al off. The menu is diverse and the prices very reasonable.

Yelp
After hearing a lot of praise from my friend about their seasonal brown sugar pie, I was excited to try this place for Mother's Day. Thankfully, my mother's meal was great, but we definitely had some misses. My brother ordered one of their non alcoholic cocktails and it was very unpleasant. Everyone at the table tried it and agreed, so we sent it back. My sister in law asked for her dish to be made with egg whites instead of a fried egg and they said we weren't allowed to do any substitutions because of it being Mother's Day. The breakfast potatoes tasted like they were cooked in used, bad oil, and same with the bacon. We didn't touch them. The breakfast pizza was pretty good but got boring once there wasn't any egg left. The pizza dough was good though, I'm sure a regular pizza would be great! Lastly, the star of the show was the French toast. It was the perfect amount of sweet and the blackberries were a nice addition. Our waitress was nice and the ambiance is pretty. Although they might do dinner better, I don't think their brunch is the way to go.
google avatar

Madeline L.

Yelp
Love the brunch & lunch options that were available on a Sunday! I got the French toast and it was good! I loved that it had nuts on it. I wish it had come with some syrup though. Definitely still satisfies a craving/sweet tooth though. Also tried a bit of the breakfast burrito which was really great and flavorful, also loved that it came with an egg on the side. Ambiance in here is nice, could maybe be a bit brighter during the day / for brunch though? Service was great and food didn't take too long to come out. I would come again!

Yelp
This place rules! Tried it for the first time with my husband and toddler and everything was fantastic. They brought out water for our pooch too which we appreciated. We started off with the oven roasted Brussels which are sweet and spicy and topped with dill mustard. Super tasty and great if you like a little kick in your food. For our entrees we ordered the spicy sausage honey drizzled pizza (one of their most popular items), Aspen Ridge flat iron steak that comes with potatoes and a fried egg, and lastly the Mediterranean bowl for our kiddo. All of them were great. The steak was a perfect medium rare. My husband got a bond bros IPA and a malbec as well which he enjoyed. The pizza was tasty too! Loved the bowl which contains hummus and red lentils and a ton of other roughage with a delicious dressing to bring it all together. We ended with the cream cheese flan at our server Isaac's recommendation and it did not disappoint. We were leaning towards the brown sugar pie but ended up loving the flan which basically tastes like cheesecake with a ton of sauce (almost tastes more like dulce de leche to me). The only down side is that the service was a little slow but the kitchen was backed up and it was poppin which speaks to how excellent the restaurant is! Also the bird working on it's nest above me kept dropping bits of nest and other miscellaneous droppings but just move your chair? Huge parking lot shared with some shops and a grocery store so the parking is ample. We will definitely be returning!

Yelp
This restaurant in the Village District continues to have excellent food, terrific service, great drinks, nice atmosphere. Wood-fired grill that makes for the best pizzas. And now I can attest to the best key lime pie also.
google avatar

Magz B.

Yelp
Amazing food! It got better and better as the food came out. Highly recommend. The bartender knew everything about wine and was able to help you with just providing your preference. The pizza so good
google avatar

Yelp
Tazza Kitchen is always a vibe! I enjoy taking out of town guests here. There's something for everyone on the menu. We started with the Brussels which were perfectly cooked and topped with mustard seeds. The flavor was on point!! Our entrees included the spaghetti squash and a Baja rice bowl with a crab cakes. Our plates were demolished in just a few minutes! The crab cake was fresh, not imitation and went were with the Baja bowl. And the spaghetti squash was well balanced with the other vegetables and the shrimp. The service was excellent. The waitress was very attentive. And we left with full and happy stomachs.

Yelp
Had a business dinner for 9 people, and service and food were amazing. Delicious pizzas and drinks, and the appetizers were great too. Awesome service - definitely recommend for a dinner with colleagues.
google avatar

Kaylin V.

Yelp
The food and drinks were absolutely incredible! We got their paloma and blackberry mojito and both were delicious. I absolutely loved their cast iron goat cheese. The pizza's were a decent "personal" size but we each got one and finished them. The service was great, our server gave us time to look over the menu and was very helpful. The restaurant was a fancy casual feel with dark lighting but definitely felt cozy
google avatar

Kayla N.

Yelp
Me and my boyfriend love this place. The food is always good, his personal favorite is the steak and eggs while I love the chips and queso! Service is good and quick. It is important to make a reservation. Sometimes they are a little busy.
google avatar

Lexi G.

Yelp
This was such a cute place for a date night! There was lots of people sitting at the bar and gathered at bigger group tables too. We ordered the white pizza and nachos with beef short rib on top. The pizza reminds me of something from a kids menu- the crust was too flimsy and chewy. Sauce was meh. Bacon on top was great. Nachos were amazing!!! If you come, we recommend avoiding the pizza

Anna M G.

Yelp
Food was amazing! We highly recommend the flank steak, salmon, and shrimps and lobster pasta. the key lime pie is to die for! Maleah was perfectly wonderful! Attentive. Helpful. So happy we got to experience Tazza for the first time with her as our server/guide! The restaurant is beautiful, relaxing, and welcoming. Even with every seat filled, our whole table was engaged in a conversation we all heard! Alex and Rachel are rockstars! We love Tazza!!
google avatar

Madison L.

Yelp
We've been here before and it's been good, today not so much. I ordered the Honey Harissa Bowl, the description sounded really good, couscous, fresh herbs, roasted cherry tomatoes, roasted carrots, feta, red onions, cucumbers and tzatziki. What a got was a bowl of couscous, one sliver of roasted red pepper (which wasn't even on the menu description) one tiny carrot, no cherry tomatoes, no herbs and a ridiculous amount of tzatziki, almost as much as the couscous. Anyway, I hate sending things back so I didn't and that's on me, but Tazza Kitchen should pay attention to their own menu description and follow what they print.

Yelp
Made a reservation with two friends for a Saturday lunch and was super surprised to see that they weren't very busy, considering all the amazing things I'd heard about Tazza. We were promptly seated and our waitress came to take our drink orders. We each selected a cocktail and also ordered the skillet goat cheese appetizer for the table. The goat cheese was awesome! Our only complaint was that it only came with 4-5 small pieces of bread, so we asked for some more. All the while, we were still waiting for our drinks. 42 minutes after ordering our drinks, they finally arrived. I'm not sure if our waitress forgot to put the orders in or if they were lost at the bar, but she tried to give us the excuse of "we're just really busy," which was clearly not true based on how full the restaurant was. We saw other tables who arrived 20ish minutes after us receiving their cocktails. Honestly, I would have appreciated an honest apology. No more than 3 minutes after our drinks arrived, so did the additional bread we had requested about 20 minutes prior and our entrees. A little overwhelming for everything to be on the table at once, but at least we had some options for eating. Our waitress started clearing our appetizer plates, which we still wanted since more than half of our appetizer was still on the table, and then gave us our plates back after having had them stacked in her arms. At that point, just give us new plates, especially since we were seated right next to where they were stored. Food was very very good, but the service and overall experience left much to be desired. I had come in wanting to try at least two of the cocktails, but only had time for one because of the long wait time for drinks.

Renata R.

Yelp
Very cute vibe but was a little loud for conversation. Service was great. Don't remember what my friends ordered but I got one of the daily specials: chicken Marsala pasta. Although my chicken thigh was a little dry, the overall dish was very tasty.
google avatar

Lori A.

Yelp
Went Sunday with a friend. Food is always pretty good. Got the Margherita pizza and a side salad (a bit overdressed). Friend got the tacos and special salad. Drinks did come later due to a printer mishap, and they weren't as good as Taza's usual cocktail lineup. But that won't stop us from returning and trying something different next time.
google avatar

Kia R.

Yelp
I love the pizza! I ordered the margarita pizza with pepperoni and spicy sausage and a side salad. It was the perfect size and the service was great! I'll definitely be back!
google avatar

Lina P.

Yelp
This was my second time visiting Tazza Kitchen and both experiences were great! We came here yesterday for a girls night out. To drink I got the Sangria and my friends got The Love Language (it was very strong). To eat we got chips with guac and queso. I've gotten the nachos before but I would recommend this more. We also got the Prosciutto and Arugula Pizza and the Spicy Sausage and Honey Pizza (my favorite thing on the menu). Emma was our sever and she was very attentive and helpful with recommendations! I will definitely be coming back.

Shelly D.

Yelp
Food and service were both noteworthy. My husband and I shared and were absolutely cleaned our plates. This was a brunch menu selection. Will definitely be returning.

Annamarie A.

Yelp
I would give 3.5 stars if possible, but that's not an option. I ordered the sausage & honey pizza, my husband got a pizza with onion & mushroom, & my friend got the spaghetti squash entre. I am usually a BIG picture taker, but I was too into our conversations to remember to take a pic. We also ordered a few drinks. I got the old fashioned, my husband got a Long Island, & my friend got the other mixed drink that had bourbon as the main liquor. I can't remember the name of her drink, but the old fashion was around $10 and hers was around $20. I enjoyed my pizza. The only downfall of the night was when my friend's meal came out, (she also had my husband's pizza in another plate) & our runner somehow dropped the pizza & the sauce got on my friend's pants & my husband's pants & shoes. I know our runner was mortified & it wasn't intentional, & we tried to reassure her to let her know we knew it was accidental. They removed the pizza from the bill, but I don't know if we'll be able to get that stain out of my husband's suede shoes. Looking back, they probably should have comped the whole meal. My friend didn't seem to really enjoy her spaghetti squash dish because she ate less than half of it, but our server also didn't recommend it. All & all, it wasn't a negative experience, & I owould give them another try in the future when we're in town.

Yelp
We loved our visit to Tazza Kitchen. I ordered the shrimp tacos and they were delicious. Our waitress was quite efficient, so we left a 25% tip. The scenery was pleasant and the staff cordial. Definitely a place we plan to revisit.

Yelp
Tazza is a great place for a casual dinner. The atmosphere is very nice and the service is always excellent. We usually sit at the bar, which is very nice. I highly recommend the cast-iron goat cheese appetizer.

JoBeth C.

Yelp
I love going to Tazza Kitchen in the Village District (used to be called Cameron Village). It is so easy to park there and it is amazingly easy to make a reservation (via resy)! I was shocked how easy it was to go Saturday night with my sister and my son's wife! They sat us toward the back of the restaurant on a corner table and I got to sit on the cushioned couch! I prefer to sit upfront when they open the windows to the patio but it was booked already. We really like to go and sit at the bar there (even though the seats are hard after awhile)! Check them out when you want to find parking right outside the restaurant and enjoy the atmosphere with friends or family!

Yelp
Just had a wonderful lunch here at Tazza. Sat at the bar and received great service all around. Menu has a lot to offer and the prices are reasonable. We settled on a side of fries to start (try the lemon aioli for dipping, it's amazing), the arugula & goat cheese salad (light & summery) and the prosciutto & arugula pizza (great combination and tasted heavenly). Loved the overall vibe of the restaurant & bar; very cozy and definitely a great spot for a day date. I would absolutely come back to Tazza if I was in the area. Thank you so much!

Niemand N.

Yelp
Terrible pizza. I ordered a margherita and got a cheese pizza with some basil leaves dumped on it. It looked and tasted like a cheap microwave pizza. I called the place and asked and they weren't at all interested. I won't be back.
google avatar

Nicholas R.

Yelp
Cool inside ambiance. Food is good but nothing special. Server was very friendly and attentive.

Ravi V.

Yelp
Everything was awesome, we walked in on a Thursday evening and still found the place packed. Thanks to the folks who got us seated even without reservations. The food was excellent and so were the cocktails. The ambience is beautiful and everyone working is so happy and cheerful. It really felt great having our dinner at TK.
google avatar

Kim G.

Yelp
I loved the dark ambience walking in and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I tried the goat cheese and bread and I didn't like it. Nothing against the way they prepared it, I've never had it before and I just didn't like it. We tried the shrimp taco and pork. It was so good!! I could taste every ingredient each bite and it was delicious! We also got the sausage and pepper honey pizza! I wasn't sure how I would like pepper flavor. The pizza was spicy and had the pepper flavor that catches you at the back of your throat and then the honey flavor simmers the spice down. Too much pepper flavor but this pizza was still very very good! Cocktail was fine, it was new for me but it was pretty and taste fine. TBH we are planning on going back again today or this weekend!

Yelp
I came to Tazza for the first time about a couple weeks ago and I absolutely loved it. Our amazing waitress served us our food, kept our drinks refilled, and was attentive. She also recommended the brown sugar pie which, quite literally, changed my life! Between last night and my first visit, I had been dreaming of that pie. I even went as far as to try to make my own at home, but it just didn't compare. I was in need of another visit to Tazza's for the pie. I made reservations for 8:00 pm last night. I ordered the cast iron goat cheese as an appetizer and it was absolutely delicious. My boyfriend and I were served our food and all was well. However, our drinks were only refilled once and a large plate we were no longer using was in our way the majority of the time. Nevertheless, we still enjoyed our food. I was just so excited for the pie I had been waiting so long for. Usually, the waitress is meant to ask first if you'd like the check (this basically is them asking if you're done eating). We were given the check without being asked first. I asked if it was too late to get dessert, hopeful that there was still a chance I can get the pie even though she already printed the check, and she told me the kitchen was closed. This was really strange to me because a couple had just walked in about 10 minutes before I asked this question (it was 8:50) and they were seated. The kitchen should not close so long as there are people capable of ordering food. I am not sure if it was actually closed or if it was open, but if people were recently being seated, I can only help but think that it was still open. It also would have been thoughtful for our waitress to tell us that the kitchen was closing soon in case we wanted dessert later. Overall, the biggest reason I came to Tazza last night was for this pie that even my homemade version can't measure up to. I enjoy the environment, the food, and my last experience here was great. The combination of waiting constantly for a refill, unused dishes taking up space, being handed the check early without being asked if we were ready, and being told the kitchen was closed when people just recently sat down to order made my visit really disappointing. Aside from the service last night, I really do like Tazza. Our last waitress was fantastic and I wouldn't say this one experience is very telling of Tazza as a whole. I just thought this experience deserved to be seen because it was quite disappointing.

Yelp
Tazza is such a great spot for happy hour with friends! They have great drinks and delicious food. For this location, I guess I would recommend making a reservation as my friends and I got a table when they opened at 5 but were asked if we could be done with the table by 6:30. I didn't have this problem the last time I came so I guess people are going out more. I've gotten the scallops and risotto a few times so it's probably my favorite thing on the menu. This time, I went for the margherita pizza. There was one slice that barely had any sauce so it was pretty dry but other than that, it was good. I ordered the Off Campus cocktail and and my friend got the Top Knot and based on the pictures on the menu, we really thought maybe our drinks had been mixed up...hard to tell. I do like that they have seasonal cocktails and they have really fun drink names. Tazza is conveniently located in a shopping center in the Village District (Cameron Village) so finding parking is super easy!

Yelp
I was happy to arrive at the restaurant after circling the block per Google directions. The ambience was modern and vintage. The restroom was clean, and the sanitation grade is 97. The music was not loud and punishing. I enjoyed my crab cakes. However, the fries were cold, so I did not eat or return them. Overall, I recommend this place. I will return to dine again.

Yelp
The hype is accurate: this place is delicious (especially considering the reasonable prices available). My husband and I came for dinner with a reservation and the place was pretty packed, so I was glad for our reservation. We sat inside and the atmosphere was nice if a bit loud (it's an open space with hard surfaces so that's to be expected). I'd definitely be curious to sit outside in the future. We were sat quickly and our waitress was super attentive. I tried a fall cocktail (Wild Horses) that was pretty tasty, but the standouts were definitely the food. We split the cast-iron goat cheese appetizer and two pizzas: a white pizza and the sausage and honey pizza. Everything was delicious with great flavors on top of the fantastic wood-fired taste. All said, our bill came to about $55 before tip which was excellent for the food quality and quantity. We're excited to come back in the future and try other dishes! One note: my only and admittedly minor gripe was that I wish the toppings had been a little more evenly distributed on the pizza (not bunched in the middle and more distributed between slices).

Yelp
Love the ambience and decor here. The wooden door is beautiful. I've been going here for a few years. Prior to Covid they imported their bbq meats for the tacos. Best brisket taco ever! In my most recent visit they don't do that and bbq is done in house (at least that's what the waiter said). Anyway, wow still great. The pulled pork taco is probably the best out off all meats. They don't have brisket anymore. I can't comment on the pizza, but their bowls were really good.

Yelp
We love Tazza. It's always solid food and the staff are friendly. Our kids now request their pizza anytime we want to go out.
