I really wanted to like this place, but everything about it was disappointing.
The focaccia was stale and dry — more like something that had been sitting out all morning than freshly baked. It was tough around the edges and flavorless. Honestly, I had better focaccia at a gas station the other day.
The coffee was another letdown: bitter, lukewarm, and way overpriced for what you get. For a place that calls itself “specialty coffee,” it tasted like something you’d get from a vending machine.
The service was the worst part. The staff acted like they couldn’t be bothered. No greeting, no smile — just cold, impatient energy. I had to wave someone down for a spoon, and when they finally came over, they dropped it on the table without a word.
Overall, this place completely missed the mark: stale food, bad coffee, rude service, and no warmth at all. There are so many better spots in Genoa.
