TCH Social - Austin (Texas Card House)

Only there the one time, and i don't usually review after one visit, but - a few hallmarks of a quality poker room make this place stand out! Plenty of tables! (Didn't need to set up folding tables for a big event, ahem) Dealers were fine. Not great, not stupid. A nice space! I mean, it's a big room, high ceilings, well lit, etc. Can't believe they make dealers walk around with big metal tip boxes - that seems unnecessarily old school. I do wish they had a coffee and soft drink self-service! But - lots of waitresses! So never a wait. This is silly, but - i freaking LOVE that there are TWO bathrooms! 😉 Overall - well run poker in a comfortable space - winner winner!

Great card room. Professional, friendly staff, good games. I only wish they also offered a lower buy in PLO game, like 1,1 PLO with a maximum $100 buy in and/or 2,2 with a maximum $300 buy on. This would allow lower stakes players to try PLO without risking a few house payments.

Known as a card player members club, but turns out that it's open to anyone for food and drinks. I went here for the first time for lunch and the food was fantastic. Also nice service and comfortable lounge area with big screens.

The food is too salty at night. They need a $10 bomb pot table or round of PLO / round of $10 bomb pots. $5 bomb pot is too small. Titi gives good massages but never smiles / seems angry to be there. Shawna doesn’t smile much either.

Great place, EXCEPT service. Ordered a mixed drink. Bar area didn't look busy. Had to remind the girl 3 times to check on my drink. Bartender didn't look busy. She may had been.

if your beginner or a average player, trust me when i say do not go here u have 0% chance of winning and playing for a while ive been to about 12-14 poker rooms and my god ive never seen so many beginners and average players get wiped out. just want to look out for new and average players whos goal is to have a good time and play for a while.

The best poker facility in the country. I lived in vegas for 15 years and played all over the country --- and the TCH Social Club in Austin is the best of all. Great food, great service, super professional dealers, agmes galore and excellent tournaments. It starts at the top with , Spiros the GM who sets the tone for the club and makes it so enjoyable for us players.
