Tchaikovsky Concert Hall

We were very lucky to see a powerful performance by an ensemble that came from Siberia to Moscow. We were delighted! Photos and video are attached. And the hall where this miracle took place is quite nice The Mikhail Semyonovich Godenko Dance Ensemble of Siberia is a famous professional ensemble founded in 1960 in Krasnoyarsk. Its founder, Mikhail Godenko, was an outstanding choreographer. Godenko developed a unique style combining traditional folk dances with modern choreography, vigor and high skill of performance, dynamics and bright theatricality. It is one of the most famous and brightest professional folk dance groups in Russia. The ensemble performs Russian, Siberian, Cossack, as well as dances of other nations of the world, but with a special Siberian energy. Its programs include incendiary dances, lyrical round dances, humorous skits and large-scale choreographic paintings. The ensemble has toured more than 70 countries, including the USA, Japan and Europe, and has received many awards for its contribution to culture. Its performances are always a whirlwind of emotions, the power of Siberian character and the unique energy of folk dance. Tchaikovsky Concert Hall is a great 1940 venue for legendary classical concert hall attracting renowned orchestras, local Russian cultural performers & conductors. This is a huge, beautiful concert hall, a couple of Metro stops outside the center of Moscow. The Peking Hotel is walking distance across the street. It's a nice hotel to spend the night. Amazing performance by Academic Folklore Dance Ensemble named after Igor Moiseev. Unique technique, fantastically honed movements, unique performance, Soviet dance traditions and a new look at traditional folk dances - all this is a unique show performed Moiseevtsy- as they call themselves. Awesome!!!! Bravo!!!!!

Stunning theatre and the best musicians visit this theatre. Well worth a visit. Before entering the theatre there is a place where you're able to sit and watch the performance for free (on a screen).

Very big concert hall just next to the metro station ,good vanue have food shops and nice sitting arrangements

Nice concert hall.. construction going on around so the entrance was a little difficult to find.. but the show was very good
