The motel deserves a 5 Star. Perfect location, friendly host and spotless clean room every corner! The bed is also comfy, smart TV is big enough. The price was very reasonable too. I highly recommend to everyone.

We stayed at Te Aroha Motel on the first night of our cycle trail. Very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and only a very short walk to the mineral spa which was just what we needed! Very comfy bed and excellent shower. Would recommend without hesitation.

Fantastic motel! The rooms had everything we needed and more and were very clean, tidy and modern. The owners were friendly and helpful with recommendations on places to visit and where to eat out. Would visit again for sure.

Lovely hotel. Good size rooms. Amazing staff. We didn't expect that rooms would be cleaned each day and topped up with tea coffee and biscuits and milk. Would highly recommend. Great little town.See you again.

Te Aroha Motels are ideally located if you wish to (a) browse the many shops along the main street (b) Visit the Domain and its many facilities (swimming pool, Spa Bath, Museum, etc) (c) feel up to climbing Mt Te Aroha - (2 hours) (d) Visit a local cafe or restaurant for a great meal. As part of our 50th Wedding Anniversary celebrations, we booked into Te Aroha Motels for 2 nights and so overwhelmingly looked after by the owner. She went out of her way to be helpful and answered every favour we needed. The rooms inside were so fresh and tidy and looked like they had been recently ungraded. Modern decor and a fridge and microwave greeted us and a huge King size bed - comfortable and firm enough just for us. The weather was warm enough so the heat pump was not needed. But we blobbed out in the evenings on the many TV and movie options available on line. We will certainly come back here again and continue our discovery of the Te Aroha Shops. We found an excellent 2nd hand book shop and spent a good hour or more and the prices were so affordable. And that was right across the road. Taj Indian Restaurant rewarded our 50th Anniversary with a special complimentary Julab Gamun Dessert - my favourite Indian Dessert. They also were extremely pleasant. There is much to recommend steppong a little bit back in time and staying in Te Aroha. Rediscover polite people, pleasant conversation and significant Art Decor buildings slotted here and there to make your stay totally worth while. Laurie Sanders

Excellent location, clean and comfy room. Glynis (spelling?) at check in was lovely and had good suggestions about things in town—food, shopping and visiting the mineral baths. Easy to get to and walking distance from everything in town.

Can't beat a good break by the hot pools. Across the road is a supermarket and hot pools behind. Close to Waihi and the walks or bike rides. The lady that booked us in was lovely and they couldn't do enough. Definitely stay again.
