Fantastic Cultural experience, Buffet dinner and show. The tour was informative and educational. The dinner was outstanding with so much selection and a vast array of local delicacies. The show was well choreographed and definitely worth seeing.
Would 100% recommend to see.

Spent our New Years eve here with the history tour and over water show. Had a great time, and would definitely recommend doing both. Mary was a great host on the history tour and knew the local history and legends. The buffet dinner was amazing and had a great selection of food. The show was the highlight of the night however and tells the legend of Tongaiti.

If you want a fun experience then go to Te Vara Nui! The story telling and the dancing is spectacular. Be aware, the tables fit about 8 people, so expect to sit with strangers however that doesn’t actually matter nor does it affect your experience. You start with eating dinner before the show starts. The staff then accomodate by giving you a higher chair or you can sit along the edge over the pond. Either way, you will get a view of the show! After the show the dancers come out to where your sitting and you can get up and learn how to dance with them… this is so fun and such a laugh! Then you can have your photo taken with the dancers before dessert. This was a really fun night and I will be recommending this to my friends and family if they visit Rarotonga.

An amazing cultural experiance. The service, food and atmosphere was exceptional and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. There is heart behind wanting to demonstrate their traditions and it shows in the attention to detail and service.

Simply an amazing experience...would recommend the add on cultural tour (Mary was a great host in respect of local history and legends), The show also was amazing with all the various dancing and links to historical journeys and voyages of the Cook Islands.

Highly recommend this authentic show. We booked a hotel transfer which was super easy and did the cultural tour beforehand which we found super informative and we learned quite a few interesting facts about the Cook Islands. Elay and Olympia were wonderful hosts sharing their stories and background. We then were seated for dinner on a small table of 4. The layout of the venue allows everyone to get a good view of the show and is covered in case of rain. For the buffet you are invited by table so there is no long queue and the food is good. The Ika mata was delicious and our favourite dish. The show itself contributes to your island feel with a live band a story line to the show. Overall definitely worth a visit and the money. A great way to spend your evening and immerse yourself in the local culture.
