I absolutely loved the Tea Around Town bus experience — it’s such a creative and enjoyable way to experience afternoon tea in New York City. The concept itself is brilliant: a beautifully set tea service combined with a 75-minute drive around Manhattan, giving you great views of the city while enjoying food and tea. It felt relaxing, unique, and surprisingly elegant.
We were able to try four different teas, and each one was excellent. The variety was well thought out, and the teas were brewed properly, full of flavor, and served at the right pace throughout the ride. For a moving experience, the quality of the tea service was impressive.
The food easily matched what you’d expect from a high-end afternoon tea. The sandwiches were fresh and flavorful, the scones were perfectly baked, and the desserts were beautifully presented and delicious. Everything paired nicely with the teas, and nothing felt rushed or mass-produced.
The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure everyone was comfortable and well taken care of during the ride. The bus itself was nicely designed, clean, and cozy, adding to the overall charm of the experience.
Overall, Tea Around Town offers something truly different — combining sightseeing with a proper afternoon tea. It’s absolutely worth the experience, whether you’re a visitor to the city or a local looking for something new and memorable to try.
