Visited Tea Chapter and really enjoyed the whole experience. The place has so much charm and the atmosphere makes it a lovely spot to appreciate tea in the best way. We learned more about different teas, and the staff were patient and helpful as they guided us through the process. The herbal eggs and cookies were a nice touch and paired well with the tea. The decor is pretty and adds to the cosy, relaxing vibe. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a calming and meaningful tea experience. Tip: Try to come during quieter hours so you can slowly enjoy the tea ceremony and take in the ambience.

First time visiting Tea Chapter today, and it's to attend their tea appreciation booked through Klook. For $78 per pax, you'll be at a table of 3~4 pax, and everyone gets to hands-on brew 3 different teas (very well-thought out choice of tea), have tea egg and cookies. The session is conducted by Fund, the 2nd gen owner of Tea Chapter. He is very engaging, knowledgeable and no fluff in his sharing 👍 The teas you'll get to drink is very different from those teas at those cafe-style places, so yes, I highly recommend anyone that's interested in tea to attend this!

Used SG culture pass for the tea appreciation workshop for $78 per pax. Learnt a lot and had fun. Instructor was engaging and knowledgable, very interactive. There's 10% off at the retail store after.

We tried the Golden Cassia, a light oolong. It was my first time coming, and the whole experience was lovely. The place feels cozy and calm — we arrived on a Sunday afternoon when it was still fairly empty, so we really got to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere before it got more crowded later on. We also ordered the tea egg and lao mai gai, and both were superb. A really soothing spot to unwind with great tea and comforting snacks. Definitely worth a visit!

Tea appreciation workshop is very educational, he explained a lot of things we didn’t know about like the tea making process, temperature. Now I know how to better appreciate tea. Ambience is insane. Would want to go back to appreciate the tea. Feels like a true “hidden gem” that most locals probably don’t know about.

Don’t miss this spot if you’re a tea lover or just want to unwind in style! 🍵✨ Tea Chapter was such a refreshing experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The Chinese-style ambience was beautifully done—peaceful, elegant, and full of character. I especially loved how the tea experience was hands-on; making it myself added a fun, meditative touch that kept me engaged throughout. Everything felt thoughtfully curated, from the decor to the service. If you’re looking for a unique, calming place to sip quality tea and soak in some charm, Tea Chapter definitely delivers. Highly recommend! 🌿

Google
Excellent tea appreciation class led by a 2nd generation owner of Tea Chapter. Highly recommended. The tea was excellent and so was the snacks accompanying the 3 types of tea. Loved it and will be bringing my friends back for sure.

Very good tea experience. Tea r more pricey as they r imported and due to the place and method that it is served. Lot of variety of tea to choose from, light to more dense, some fruity and some decaff. They will teach you how to brew it and how long for each brew. Very conducive place to relax. Can choose to sit on wooden floor like tatami style or table. Each space need additional cost on top of the tea ordered. Sell tea flavoured cookies and jelly. Good place to bring foreigners for the culture and experience.

Yelp
Ambiance is nice and feels authentic. Went to individual rooms instead of the communal area. There are a couple of rooms that require you to sit on the floor and two rooms that have chairs. Wide variety of tea with a choice of demonstration. Both tea and food are nice. No heavy food, just snacks / light food. Loose leaf tea of your choice is provided in a ziplock bag, enough for 2 rounds of tea (with about 4-8 steeps per round). If you do not have time (2 hrs allocated), or are feeling full, you may bring back the remaining tea leaves. In between each round you may call for the waitress to top up your water using a doorbell but nobody responded after pressing a few times so had to call manually. No big deal but could be better.

Yelp
Lovely tea and snacks! Great place to catch up with friends over some casual tea. Two hour time limit per table, but they weren't strict during our seating. Wish the service were a little better and they gave us a bit more instruction on how to steep the tea, but it was a good experience nonetheless. The water took a while to boil and it was somewhat hard to tell when the water was ready. The temperature definitely wasn't precise, so the tea also turned out a bit inconsistent. We also ordered the dried fish filet, but they conveniently forgot our order. Still a fun experience though, and I don't regret going! They give an ample amount of Lapsang Souchong tea leaves so you'll likely have leftovers to bring home :)

Yelp
This review is for the tea appreciation package in the upstairs tea room. Tea master is very knowledgeable and he gave us a comprehensive and engaging lesson on the history of tea and art of drinking it in Mandarin (highly recommended if everyone in your party can understand Mandarin). Golden Cassia Oolong Jasmine Pearl tea (beginner-friendly but not the best for experienced tea drinkers) Imperial Pu Er Tea Eggs: 4 stars Chapter 7 Cookies: 5 stars They also sell Eastern Beauty, Jin Xuan and a huge variety of teas in the shop next door.

Yelp
Came here to buy tea sometime back. They have a wonderful range and the staff there are more than willing to explain to you the different types of tea to be paired with the different types of teapots and tea cups. Today a friend invited me there for tea. It was a very pleasant experience. There were a lot of foreigners there - guess they got themselves on the tourist map, and for good reason too. You can experience good tea, and some bites if you want. We ordered the "peach" buns (lotus paste buns) and the custard lava bun. Nothing to shout about, it was more just to have something to bite. They would guide you with the tea making if necessary - was not necessary in my case as my friend rather expertly handled it :) Quite place for a great cuppa tea :)

Yelp
Great place if you want to soak in traditional tea time and cut yourself off from the buzz of this busy city. Sure we walked in and were looked up and down by all the staff and people in there as we were the only non-Asian but this only reassured us as to the idea that it was not a tourist hotspot. We were greeted by a nice man who took us up to our floor table and introduced us to the art of tea. We decided on a floral one and with hint of Jasmine and mint, it was perfect for a relaxed afternoon time. We were offered sugar peanuts and were told on the proper way to serve and enjoy your tea with patience and knowledge. We really had a nice time and would highly recommend this place,

Yelp
Nice ambience with 3 floors occupying. There is the Chinese, Japanese and Korean style of seats for you to enjoy your tea. There have been quite a number of foreigners who visits the place as well. Minimum expenditure per person is $8 and ideally 3 or more persons visiting could get you a good pot of worthwhile tea. Service is excellent and there is a tea master of sorts demonstrating how to make a good pot of tea and explaining the various teas and its benefits. The master will also teach you the formality and manners of tea making/pouring. Enjoy coming here to chat all day with friends or just read a book by yourself, or simply soak into the tea culture.

Yelp
It's a great place where we had special tea ceremony by very friendly tea specialist. She gave us valuable tips how to prepare different teas. We also enjoyed yummy dishes such as sweet potato, bao etc. We were surprised to know queen Elisabeth of England was once there with her husband. Ambiance was very good and quiet. We strongly recommend Tea Chapter.

Yelp
Ambience of the place is good with authentic chinese setting. Staff are also mostly chinese and have very polite service. We were given a space of our own. It was a place where one is required to sit on the ground with no chairs, just the floor and the low table. The staff kindly offered to give us a brief introduction to the preparation of tea and how to appreciate the tea. There are quite a variety of teas to choose from and the whole experience was a very novel and interesting one. The flower tea are a must try.
