This review is a little overdue, but as they say, better late than never! I simply couldn't let more time pass without expressing my gratitude for the absolutely stunning vegan wedding organized by Kate, the owner of Tea in the Trees, in August 2023. From the moment we stepped into the venue, it was like entering a fairytale. The twinkling fairy lights, lush greenery, and charming ambiance set the stage for an unforgettable celebration.
Being my first time in South Africa and specifically in Gonubie, I didn't know what to expect. Yet, every expectation I had was not only met but surpassed. Kate's attention to detail and her dedication to creating a magical experience were evident in every aspect of the event.
The vegan cuisine served at the wedding was nothing short of extraordinary. Each dish was crafted with such care and skill that even now, days later, I find myself reminiscing about the flavours.
But it wasn't just the food that left a lasting impression; it was Kate herself. As the owner of Tea in the Trees, she brought her warmth, professionalism, genuine friendliness, and exceptional problem-solving skills to the forefront. Not to mention, she saved the day by helping with the cake issue we encountered. Kate listened attentively to our preferences, offered valuable suggestions, and ensured that every detail was executed flawlessly.
Kate's passion for what she does shines through in everything she touches. She is not only a talented event planner but also a kind-hearted individual who genuinely cares about her clients' happiness. I have no doubt that any event she organizes at Tea in the Trees will be nothing short of spectacular.
The next time my wife and I find ourselves in Gonubie, there's no question that our first stop will be to revisit Tea in the Trees. Thank you, Kate, for a wedding day we will cherish forever.
