Tea Lounge

We had a great time at the afternoon tea session. The service and ambience were superb, staff were so smiley and friendly, making you feel so happy and welcomed too! The selection of teas are great, afternoon tea set includes 2 drinks, I suggest you skip the coffees and take the teas. The food were really good with a relatively good mix of savories and sweets. As I indicated that we are celebrating a birthday, they prepared a complimentary chocolate dessert for us! Such a nice gesture, makes us want to return for future special occasions!

We love the peace and comfort here. Celebrated my friend's birthday and also celebrating year end together. The spread was great and quality! Buffet spread came with 2 drinks. Staffs were very prompt. We will be back!

food-wise, i feel that some of the savouries are quite salty. the scones was a bit hard, but the cempedak cream tasted good. the other sweet desserts taste good. per pax price inclusive of svc charge and gst is $74.40, do note that only 2 drinks included and not free flow selection. service-wise, 6 of us had to squeeze at a coffee table, drink orders taken and served wrongly but quick to react and serve the correct drink. there were 4 service staff, but attention was not given to the customers, our teapots went empty for very long and no one came to refill hot water till we asked for it. also, the male waiter needs more training, couldn't understand our questions so we had to repeat, answers he gave sounded uncertain as well. all in all, wouldn't come here again for high tea, their lobby lounge at conrad marina bay was a much better experience.

I had a wonderful experience at the Tea Lounge in Conrad Orchard, Singapore. The ambience is elegant yet welcoming, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a refined afternoon. What truly made the visit exceptional was the service. A special mention to Yoon, Alice, and Timo, their attentiveness, warmth, and genuine hospitality elevated the entire experience. They anticipated needs before I even asked, and made sure every detail was taken care of with such grace and professionalism. Their extraordinary service turned a simple tea outing into a memorable occasion. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be returning.

We had a wonderful time yesterday for afternoon tea. They had a nice selection of tea. I would not choose the Singapore blends. The spice combination was not quite right, but the regular ones were nice. The variety of savory and sweet bites was good . And the staff we had were very nice and helpful. I would definitely go back.

We brought the children for a high tea buffet at the Tea Lounge, and it was an overall enjoyable experience. The pastries and cakes offered a nice balance of sweet and savory options. We also loved the unexpected treats like kuay pie ti, macaroons, and banana chocolate cake. A particularly thoughtful touch was the complimentary birthday cake for our celebration – such a sweet gesture! While we thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience, there were a few areas that could be improved. It took around 20-25 minutes for the pastries to be prepared. We understand there were other patrons, but considering we were one of the earlier groups to arrive and place our orders, we felt the waiting time could be reduced, especially since most pastries were already prepared beforehand. Additionally, the tea selection was great, but the time taken to order and receive the tea was quite long. The restaurant was only half occupied at the time, so we believe there may be opportunities to streamline service to ensure guests' needs are more promptly met. We also noticed that the hot chocolate for kids is not refillable. It would be wonderful if the restaurant could offer more refillable, kid-friendly drink options to enhance the experience for families. Overall, the experience was memorable for the kids, and we hope to see a more diversified and kid-friendly pastry selection on future visits. We believe these small improvements would elevate the dining experience even further.

High tea was served in buffet format and had good spread with great quality. You also get satay, beef strip-loin, baked seabass, etc on top of the usual high tea fare. Each table was even offered a serving of char siew (I presume from Summer Palace) which was perfectly roasted and charred super delicious. At $S74++ per pax it is much more worth it that many other hotel high teas that do not offer food refills. Hilton honours members can get up to 25% discount depending on your membership tier. You are entitled to two drinks from their teas and coffees selection, alcohol requires additional top up. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a value for money hotel high tea experience in Singapore.

The service was great, attentive and friendly which made for a lovely experience. As for the food, it was visually pleasing, but the taste didn’t quite make it. While the spread wasn’t extensive, it still has some variety of offerings, but some of the breads were on the drier side which we wouldn’t go for a second round. The Asian-inspired dishes and desserts were decent though nothing really wowed us. However, the standout was the Char Siew, served right at our table. It was better than what you’d find at most Chinese restaurants. We also really appreciated the tea selection, with a diverse range of flavors that kept things interesting.

Returned to Tea Lounge on Day 3 after arriving in Singapore for a nice afternoon tea. My first time was last June. I had a great time, the food was of high quality, the staffs were wonderful! My 2nd time? The hotel has a "Spring in Tokyo" theme this time. SERVICE (5/5) Staffs were as wonderful or maybe even more so. They were very attentive and I especially want to give a shout-out to the staff manning the seafood porridge and the younger staff who recommended me the laksa. He even brought a pair of chopsticks, chili paste and some fish crackers for me. He also made wonderful recommendation on which desserts are a must try. AMBIENCE 5/5 Love the ambience. There was a pianist playing during the high tea session. FOOD 5/5 There were the usual (but not boring) seafood porridge which was the best seafood porridge I ever had and laksa which I was told was one of their signature item. I tried and I went "wow!!" I don't even really like spicy food. I wanted to get another bowl but I wonder if I could asked for a bigger bowl :D

This is a top notch afternoon tea. I was lucky to participate in the holiday festival buffet which had an adorable Disney theme. The castle was adorned with various pastries. It was just fabulous. Chefs beef cheeks and infused cherry tomato and lobster laksa were my favorites Alice was my main server. She was very kind to take many birthday photos.

One of my favorite things to do in SE Asia is high tea, and Singapore has a slew of really wonderful spots. English tea is served every afternoon just off the lobby of the Regent hotel, which is managed by Four Seasons. This is definitely a decadent experience and possibly more traditionally British than others (no dim sum in sight!), but it is all incredible- from the free flow of delicious scones with lemon curd and clotted cream, to the savory items, little desserts, and of course the choices of teas. The four of us really enjoyed a leisurely afternoon here and I wouldn't hesitate to come back again. It seems that tea on the weekends is an even more decadent affair, with more substantial food options and everything served buffet style.

My motto in life is: Look like a princess, eat like a dinosaur. And afternoon tea at the Regent satisfies everything in my book required to nom this way! Having visited the Tea Lounge on a Sunday afternoon, I firmly believe that if you want the best value for your buck, go on the weekend as it is the only time a buffet spread is available. Weekdays consist of a tiered high tea set for $45++. Meh. On the weekend, for $48++ (approx. $61 in total), you get 2 drinks (with refills for tea), and an international spread of tasty snacks that range from delicate pastries, chewy macarons, cold salads, pâté on bagel chips, foie gras sandwiches, roast beef/duck, satay, chicken wings, sushi, to chocolate fondue and a waffle/crepe station, plus more. It's really quite fantastic when you consider the quality and quantity of food for the price. The only down side is the service, which can be slow depending on the crowd. However, if you make reservations and request to sit close to the buffet tables, you're golden! Happy Eating!

Was on one of my tea spree and decided to try the Regent's Tea Lounge for the afternoon high tea. Never a fan of buffets, i opted for the 3 tiered afternoon tea set. The finger sandwiches were dry and plain. I don't think it's right to serve plain white or brown bread at a 5* high tea, especially when they are charging quite a sum for it. The toppings were also very bland. I can make my own egg mayo sandwich or cucumber sandwich thank you very much. The only thing that was fantastic was the scones. I like that they were doughy and not too crumbly. Quality clotted cream is used here. Yay! I also like the lemon curd which is quite refreshing as compared to all that jam that is served elsewhere. My favorite is the fruit scone because it's more moist. The other pastries and desserts were very mediocre. If you want to do tea, i would say skip the sets and simply order the scones and a pot of tea. It's a lot more enjoyable.

The interior design of the hotel looks old Europe style and the foods there are very delicious. Definitely recommend for high tea or dinner.
