Teach de Broc

We recently celebrated a hen party with a private dining experience at Teach de Broc in Ballybunion, and the entire experience was exceptional. The team worked with us to create a customised menu that suited everyone in the group, and the food on the night was absolutely outstanding, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious - genuinely some of the nicest foo we've had at an event like this. A special mention has to go to Cian, who was fantastic to deal with from start to finsih. He was organsie, professional and very accomodating. The welcome drinks on arrival were a lovely touch and hugely appreciated by the whole group. Cian ensured everything ran smoothly, and his attention to detail really made the night feel extra special. Teach de Broc delivered exceptional service, fantastic food, and a warm atmosphere. Highly recommend it for any private event or celebration in Ballybunion!

What a great experience, even if we didn't take full advantage of it. We booked here though we were going to Listowel races and Teach de Broc just made our weekend.||From the moment we arrived the hospitality was fantastic. With the location only a 9 Iron away from Ballybunion golf course and our room over looking the driving range its a must for golf enthusiasts. ||We arrived early on Saturday and both Cian and Aoife were there and the hospitality, support and helpfulness could not be faulted. We had a great time at the races, enjoyable night in Ballybunion and then finished with a wonderful breakfast. It all went too quick and we will be going back to enjoy the beach and scenery in the near future.||The decor and room was fantastic, we didn't make the most of booking dinner or enjoying a drink in the bar but got some great ideas for our house we are currently doing improvements on :)

This was a gem. Self-described as a Guest House, Teach de Broc (Teach is pronounced “Tok”, or so I was told) is a small, family-run hotel that welcomes everyone but is ideally situated to accommodate golfers who have trekked to Ballybunion, Ireland to play its eponymous golf course. This establishment was ideal for our needs. Brothers, Cian and Dermot, who run the establishment with their mother, make every effort to cater to the needs of their customers. They were all cheerful and engaging, and put forth the best in Irish hospitality. The establishment includes a nicely appointed dining room with beautifully decorated upholstered seating, and fine art adorning the walls. There is also a small, adjoining bar with indoor and outdoor seating. The menu was eye popping and the food quality and service were excellent; tellingly, some of the patrons were locals. Rooms were spacious, clean, equipped with flat screen tvs, and the beds enabled a great night’s sleep. For those visiting to play the golf course, there is no lodging that is more convenient; the driving range is across the street (but you can't see it because of some adroit landscaping), and the clubhouse is close enough to walk to with your clubs. Yet, regardless of the purpose of your visit, Teach de Broc should be your choice for lodging if you visit Ballybunion. I would not stay anywhere else.

We had an amazing experience at Tech de Broc! We had an early afternoon tee time at Ballybunion and were able to be accommodated to check into our room by the innkeeper. Our room was spacious, clean, sunfilled, the shower and bathroom also spacious and comfortable and the bed was very comfortable. We had dinner and then breakfast at the inn and both were very good. After dinner we had a drink at the bar and found the guests fun to chat with in a wonderfully casual setting. The innkeeper happened to be there and was charming and very welcoming. What I loved most about Teach de Broc was the warm, welcoming vibe in a cozy, comfortable setting. No pretense, just friendliness, good food, and great service. Teach de Broc is a great place to stay when you're playing Ballybunion (easy walk to the clubhouse)!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel. We needed a place closeby for an early tee time at Ballybunion. This far exceeded the expectations I had from booking online. The rooms are spacious, modern, yet warm. The location is fantastic You can walk to the golf course and the beach. It was not a big hotel, but much more than a B&B. ||Our favorite part was the restaurant, for both breakfast and dinner, and the accompanying bar where we had pre-dinner drinks. Owners Cian and Dermott were a wealth of information, both for the history of the area and helping us to plan our Ring of Kerry drive. We so enoyed their company. ||On our 2nd and last day, my daughter and I had to wait for husband and son to complete golfing before we could leave. Dermott settled us comfortably in the restaurant area with tea and coffee and we passed a few hours chatting and reading. I could have stayed there all day. It was like being in your own home, but with someone taking care of you! ||It's a special place. I would go there again, golf or no golf.

Had a hen party in Ballybunion and we went for dinner in Teach de Broc. It was a perfect evening start to finish. All staff were so welcoming and made sure everyone was looked after! Couldn't fault them! Hopefully be back at some point.

The nicest place , we had the most wonderful stay , the staff , the food and drink were amazing . We had a ball, the dinner was Devine. The beds were amazing and the views were wonderful

Always a pleasure to stay in T de B excellent food and its location so close to the superb Golf Club and practice area. Visited the town and while you mention 'Beautiful' Ballybunion i was so disappointed with all the amusement and betting shops in the main street , it is really very tacky when you walk around. It also has a wonderful beach just the town needs to upgrade and compliment the other enjoyable features

Five star; fine dining!! Outstanding menu. My wife ordered the pork medallions and I ordered the sea bass. Both were outstanding. Food preparation and presentation was exquisite. Small wine list but our waiter recommended an Italian red which we found to be excellent. For dessert we had the lemon cheesecake and a raspberry meringue. A perfect end to a perfect meal. Service is second to none. Reservations highly recommended.

This is a great place to stay in a smaller town. The views of the area are beautiful. The rooms are a decent size, nice comfy bed. It's a little outside of Ballybunion but Ladies beach is a short drive away. The best part of our stay was the food. The chef is amazing. Some of the best meals we had on our stay. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Fantastic family place that feels like a B&B. The food is excellent , nice wine and whiskey selection as well. Across from the famous golf course but also walking distance to the beach! A short (10min) drive to the Bromore Cliffs!

Excellent food. We had an Irish stew and seafood chowder. Best I've had so far. Also the avocado salad with pine nuts was delicious. We stayed overnight here after playing Ballybunion. Room was clean, spacious with a great view. I'd give it 5 Stars for sure.

This is a fabulous place. Across from the famous Ballybunnion golf course, this family run place is an excellent boutique hotel and restaurant. The food is probably the best I had on a two week vacation to the west coast of Ireland. Dermot, the bartender was a pleasure to meet, full of personality and a dry wit. Can't recommend Teach De Broc highly enough.
