Nice theatre. Good location. Some plays have subtitles (English). Nice staff (and a lot of them) helping you getting around. Negative is that they (the same staff) allow audience to arrive late and moving the ones on time to other seats, there by encourage late arrivals.

Monumental building in the time honoured classical style. Appropriately massive entrance columns. Grand interior in every manner you would expect.

Nice surroundings, BUT. We bought the tickets to a play with english subtitles. However, there weren't any. We had to sit for an hour until a break listening to a language we cannot understand. The staff tried to prove us we made a mistake, as the subtitles will be on this same play tomorrow. This was not an accident, because we wouldn't buy a ticket to watch a play which we do not understand. This problem was not solved appropriately. We feel very disappointed and feel that we have wasted money.

Been here several times, never disappointed. The acts are amazing, actors know their job. Definitely recommended for everyone looking for something cultural in Warsaw. The plays are also preety cheap (I paid between 30zl and 55 zl)

I've been here only once however what i saw blew me away in the best way possible. I was lucky to see "Wizyta Starszej Pani" and it was the first ever play I have personally witnessed to recieve a standing ovation. The acting, the choreography the costume design! Its rare for me to see plays where the actors actually get faux scars, since a lot of the audience might not notice them from far away. Personally I suffer from prosopagnosia which makes it difficult for me to tell people apart ,however with how the characters were played , their body language, character appropriate clothing and speech patterns, not once have i found myself confused with who is who. The direction, acting and the scene design itself? I have been blown away and im yet to see another play as good.

There is a new artistic director Stepka, and it's definitely worth checking out this place. We were on a great play here, still digesting it.
