"In San Juan, I note that this theater (open since 1832) is almost as famous for hauntings as performances, with audience members reporting strange voices and footsteps and sightings of two specific ghosts: a woman in red who still attends shows (notably in Box 105) and an actress who fell to her death and has been seen onstage before vanishing." - Andrea Romano

What a beautiful theater! Extraordinary and polite usher service. Very clean and very spacious bathrooms. Parking Doña Fela is a 4-5 minute walk which is good.

It's a small theater in Old San Juan, where you can see theater play in some days. The construction began in 1826.

This is the oldest permanent theatre in Puerto Rico. It is beautiful and stunning. The main floor seats are comfortable the balcony seats not so much. Great view from anywhere. You will be looking a couple of times at the elegant chandelier.

Lovely old theater. The seats are so old and hard that one gets uncomfortable immediately.
