We had an amazing time doing the behind-the-scenes tour at Teatrul Național it totally exceeded our expectations! We got to explore all the different stages, including one on the rooftop with incredible city views. It was so cool to walk through the green rooms, changing areas, and even take a ride in an old, still working Austrian elevator. What made it extra special was that the tour takes place while the theatre is actually in use people are working, rehearsing, moving sets so you get a genuine look at how things operate backstage. Also, huge thanks to our guide, Ionuț he was incredibly friendly, super knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel personal and fun.

Went to a play about Mary Magdalene and the actresses were absolutely amazing. Also, there was absolutely 0 wait to get inside and the tickets were fairly affordable. Would go again.

It is a famous place and worth visiting for anyone interested in concerts with a good quality, the price is arguably one of the highest compared to other theaters in town. I’d recommend this place for anyone in town visiting for a few days and want to experience the Romanian culture which’s very rich in the country.

Beautiful tour guide provided by the staff. We were on a Sunday afternoon to find out about the history of the National Theatre, went backstage and rode an old and completely functional Austrian elevator :)

National Theatre Bucharest also known as TNB is the most important and notorious theatre in Bucharest. It was built in 1973 and has a beautiful architecture. The modern construction holds many important events and plays. The best actors perform on the scene and put a lot of effort to satisfy the public. I went to the play called "Padurea Spanzuratilor" and i was surprised by how beautiful it was. The special effects, the music and the props used were amazing and I would like to see another play soon. Also the interior is very elegant and impressive. There is a very interesting sculpture in front of the building which represents characters from different plays. Overall I really enjoyed my time there and I would like to visit it again. It's a very representative building in Bucharest!

We went to plays here and they were fenomenal. We also took their behind the scenes tour and it was absolutely mind blowing. I highly recommend it. It takes you behind the scenes and you see the inner works of their stages, craftsmanship, green room, changing rooms, etc.
