"Then, we went to Teddy’s Bigger Burgers, and it was great. It’s a Hawaiian chain. I got the Kaneohe, which has garlic, avocado, bacon, and cheddar. After we ate, we went back to the beach."

Google
Its definitely one of the most popular burger chains in hawaii for their specialty burgers named after different locations around hawaii. I used to visit the one on kapiolani before it closed down (before covid)...but glad they have multiple locations on Oahu. I visited their kaneohe restaurant recently. Atmosphere was lively with many tourist and locals visiting this location during lunch on Saturday. Restaurant was clean, though the floors were slightly sticky for some reason. One of the things I liked about this restaurant...since the burgers are hands on and at times messy. They have a sink and soap dispenser in the corner near the soda fountain, so we could wash our hands after our meal....very important. Great consideration by the restaurant for customers to use. Service was good. Nothing good or bad about it. As for the burgers, enjoyable and delicious but also heavy...i definitely need sleep after eating it. I got the Waikiki burger, since I enjoyed hash brown and bacon covered in teriyaki sauce. Lol didn't finish my onion rings...too much food. The onion rings were seasoned well and crispy when served. The french fries and tater tots were crispy and seasoned well too. No complaints. My family enjoyed their burgers, all three were medium in temp.

Google
Amazing staff, amazing creative burgers and the tator tots and onion rings were excellent too. I can't forget the milkshakes, so yummy and thick. We loved it and went back again on our vacation. Definite stop and bring your appetite.

Michael Goodman

Google
Ordered a small burger and a medium sized burger, small tots and a small drink. Burger was cooked to medium rare, quite surprising because most places can't figure that out. Tots were good with their own seasoning spice. Price was maybe 50% more than I'd expect.

Michael P.

Google
The burgers are well made, and the char-broiled patties are very flavorful. I can't say I recommend getting the teri burger though, as the sauce was too salty to be enjoyable on mine. I also made a small error on my end in not noticing they use something like a honey mustard in the burgers. I certainly would have asked for it to be excluded from a teri burger. It clashes with the taste, as something like mayo or thousand island is more suited for a teri burger. The fries were very enjoyable. Overall, I think it is somewhere you can get a good meal, even if it might be a bit pricy for a burger meal.

Google
We got the Kanak Attack burger and made it a double. Very tasty! My wife and I split that and a large fry and we were full with fries leftover to take home. If you think the price is high, just remember you're getting 2 meals out of each order because the burgers and fries are huge!

Luis Camino

Google
Excellent burgers spot. Great vibe, and music, the team members were knowledgeable and ready to take orders. The burgers, omg out of this island. Keep it up. Luis from NYC

Google
Love this place. Burgers made fresh to order. Seasoned beautifully. It is a small store so have some aloha spirit and patience. The employees were kind and helpful. Onions rings are DA BEST.

Laura Saint

Google
Burgers with a view! We ordered a Hawaiian burger, a double beef, an aiea burger and a crispy chicken sandwich. All 4 were fantastic! Freshly made, warm and very tasty. Totally recommend if you’re staying in Honolulu to come and give it a try! You outdid yourself Teddy!

Yelp
Have not been here for about 10 yrs living in the mainland. Visited last with my kids. Everything inside& out looked pretty much the same. Casual clean & casual decor. Great to see them here. Was a little surprised at the cost for their bigger burgers as they advertise.Close to $19.00 for a speciality burger & closer to $12.00 for a 5 oz. premium burger. They are good & ingredients are fresh. Fries can run from $3.99- $ 10.00, plus. You get good food & pay the price for it! I would go back, to take someone for their goodness, but could not afford Teddy's on a regular basis. Takeout, service friendly& polite!

Yelp
My brother enjoyed his burger and said it was good. The service was fine--nothing out of the ordinary. However, the teriyaki sauce on my burger was burnt, which made it inedible. I wasn't happy about paying around $15 for something I couldn't even eat.

Yelp
Cozy Teddy's I haven't had it in very long time, I ordered their kids meal which was delicious perfectly made even for full grown adults!! Must try again near to my home! Their French fries perfectly cooked!

Yelp
Awesome Burgers. The garlic chicken nuggets are so good. The staff a military Dependant was probably the most accommodating I've had on the whole island.

Yelp
Not sure why such a low score. We've been here twice after not visiting a Teddy's in like ten years (went veg). The first time, it was just for the sides. They have excellent fries, onion rings, and tots, especially the latter. There was a small issue with the order but it was resolved no problem. Then, just tonight we decided to try their two veg options. Great buns, fresh veggies, good char on the burger. Also, excellent service. I've seen a few people complaining about price, but for the two burgers and two sides it came out around $2 more than Burger King for what is a better product. Like Arnold used to say when he was actually worth quoting, I'll be back.

Yelp
An absolutely amazing burger. My wife and I tried the Kailua and Waikiki burger. So delicious and fresh it was definately one of the best burgers I've tried. Friendly and professional staff

Yelp
I was very exited to try this location, I asked for a well done Kaneohe Burger, small fries and a lava flow shake. I waited about 15 mins for my food which isn't a big deal.. if I waited I'm assuming my food is fresh & hot. My fries were very soggy and cold. The burger appeared to be fine until I kept eating more and is still BLOODY. I immediately stopped eating it. The ONLY thing that was great was the lava flow shake.. not sure if I will come back to this location unless you specifically tell them you want everything fresh and cooked to standard even though you tell them in the beginning of the order... My meal was 29$ including tip.. very steep for a burger joint.
google avatar

Casey C.

Yelp
Still great burgers, they cook it right (medium is medium not medium well like a lot of places) and tasty, but I'm not sure if it's worth the price. $15 before tax for most of the specialty burgers with toppings. And then the grilled chicken for my aunty was very sad, what a small piece of chicken. We went on a Saturday at 11 and the place was empty. Friendly fast service. Wish we had more other options around here for burgers that are a step above fast food. I'll probably be back but maybe a once a year kind of place.
google avatar

Jay T.

Yelp
TERRIBLE! Avoid at all costs. $18 for a burger is expensive, but it's insane when it's a tiny, overcooked burger that doesn't even fill out the bun! This was more a large slider than a burger. I was also wondering why my food took 30 minutes, as there were only 2 customers ordering in front of me. Turns out the cook was making all burgers well done, despite the fact that I ordered medium. Not to mention I ordered a vanilla milkshake and there was peanut butter in it. Luckily I'm not allergic to peanut butter. But it speaks to the quality of this place

Andrea F.

Yelp
A fresh made burger to make a trip for. Meat cooked perfectly (med rare) with adds and sauce on a delicious bun. Ono to the MAX!
google avatar

Khierstin G.

Yelp
I went ahead and planned the day before of what I wanted from here. Initially I just wanted a large Kona Coffee Shake with Malt, but settled for the Volcano burger with onion rings as well. Cravings satisfied!
google avatar

Gary K.

Yelp
OK but not good enough to gain loyalty. Maybe out of touch with prices but spent $34 for two burgers with no drinks. Burgers were OK but not what I would call great flavor wise. Maybe I'm old-fashioned but kind of think a fair tab for two burgers might be $24 but not $34...
google avatar

Jackie L.

Yelp
Probably would only come back for milkshakes. Otherwise, service, accuracy and flavor, I'd prefer McDonald's. I feel bad for not being excited about a small business but long wait, high prices, and little sympathy for messing up two burgers despite being pricey and long wait times made me second guess returning here. And I just got a cheeseburger and it was just fine. But overall everything was pretty greasy and just mid.

Yelp
Hubby, daughter and myself decided to eat dinner here before heading home. I have been to the location in Aiea. That location was good and pretty huge inside. I didn't feel like eating a burger so I decided to get a chicken sandwich with tater tots. It was so much food. The chicken sandwich was tasty but I dislike pickles in it. I should have told them no pickles. I enjoyed the tater tots the most as this was my favorite. I ate all the tater tots before the chicken sandwich. I actually took the sandwich home because I was so full still. I drank the passion fruit iced tea and this was delicious. Very good flavor. The girls working here seemed like they were bored because there were no customers before us but some people came in afterwards. Other than that, food was good but this was out of our way. We just stopped by for dinner. We don't frequent the Kaneohe area but when we do, we will come back.

Yelp
I was in the area, so I figured I would have Teddy's. It has been years since my last visit and I was looking forward to a good burger. The cashier was really nice. I ordered a double burger with no bun. Maybe I should have gotten the bun because the hamburger patties did not look that good. I didn't specify how much I wanted it cooked, so the patties were medium to medium rare. Half of my onion rings were overcooked, borderline burned. I hate to seem picky, but when paying a premium price, I expected more. I will try them one more time before writing them off.

Ash A.

Yelp
Would have been delicious if it was cooked. Ordered med well and when I got home it was med- rare ( bloody) Hard to know how it's cooked when you have it to go... shakes are good and thick.

Terrie F.

Yelp
Teddy's has the best burgers around. I'm a finicky eater and lately I'm extremely happy with my orders. Some time ago there were employees that were less than professional and the burgers and service were disappointing. If you had a bad experience, give them another chance, as I have. They have a great team now and the burgers & fries are absolutely delicious. Really, the best...no ka oi !!

Yelp
I came in on Wednesday The cashier Kalei was super friendly and showed me how to order, the food came out in 8mins and when I tell you it's the best burger I've had I meant every word! Compliments to the cook Brenda!!! They were so nice will definitely be coming again

Yelp
Do NOT order GrubHub delivery from here. Two times we have placed an order and then waited hourS (yes, plural - hours) to receive our order (when the original delivery time showing was less than an hour when we placed the order). The first time, the food arrived cold. The second time we were hoping the first time was a bad day and gave the benefit of the doubt. We waited two hours, had to call the customer service line twice, only for the order to be cancelled and we never got any food.
google avatar

Yelp
I came here on the recommendation of a friend and I was NOT disappointed! I ordered the Kanak Attack and my friend ordered the Kaneohe. The burgers were tall and generously topped with bacon, avocado, cheese, and the Kanak had onion rings as well. The burgers were JUICY at medium rare and perfectly done. The employees were awesome, helpful and happy to answer any questions. We both had combos that included perfectly cooked TOTS! I would definitely come here again!
google avatar

Yelp
Great burger, better fries, but nothing special. My friends were shocked I hadn't been here before. Not sure I'll go back as I can get a better burger somewhere else or an equally good burger for cheaper elsewhere. We rolled up 30 minutes before closing and the staff was still super helpful and kind. The fries are the best part! And you definitely will be full with a regular meal.

Yelp
I was looking forward to a yummy burger and garlic fries. What I got was a total disappointment. On a Friday night at 8pm, we ordered on GrubHub to avoid being around people too long, due to the high Covid numbers. I arrived a few minutes before time and stood in line behind one customer group also doing pick up. The counter service went pretty smoothly. The nice employee quickly looked for our order and it was just coming out of the window. Our shakes were made and the bag appeared so quickly I thought I'd won the fast food lottery. They assured me my order was all in the bag so off I went. Things went amiss... And we ended up with sauce on a no sauce burger, well done meant burnt for another burger, and on the last burger I don't know why but it was a soggy mess of ingredients (and that one was mine). The garlic fries tasted a little like garlic but mostly just were bad. I couldn't really eat them because it was like they were fried twice or something, and the cheese (I think that was parmesan cheese) was hard and did not complement them at all. I tried to salvage them and smother them with ketchup and it was just not edible for me. They were unlike Any garlic fries we have ever had. Also, it's kinda alarming that the group in front of me when I entered were not wearing their masks over their noses and mouth opting to cover their chins instead... because one was eating fries out of their bag while the other was paying the bill. (Apparently bill paying requires a free nose and mouth.) In such close proximity I would have felt a lot better if the employees had at least requested they mask up since I was barely four feet away from them and the cashier's were directly in front of them. But it is what it is. I do not believe I will be feeling the urge to come here again any time soon, unless it is strictly for a shake. In closing I guess it could have been worse food and it probably would've been a lot better dine in. The employees were very nice and everything clean. It might just be my preference. ***Plus the shakes are always delicious and there are a bunch of flavors to try. My kids love the flavors: chocolate, choc peanut butter, and root beer. The house flavor was mint chocolate chip.

Yelp
My fav burger joint on island and dare I say it tops In and Out in my books. Don't @ me lol. I haven't been to this location til now. I called in a take out/phone order of 2 original burger meals, upgrade the drink to a PB milkshake, and extra secret sauce on the side. About dang time Teddy's gets it correctly. Usually they skimp the burger of the secret sauce which is why I request extra. I'd say 15-20minute wait is a little too generous to estimate the time my meal will be ready. . More like 25-30 minutes..... Also, our burger buns was a little soggy than I would have liked...but it wasn't really a big deal to me, probably because I was starving.. The French fries were delicious! I practically scarfed those down before my meal. Nice to have a Teddy's in Kaneohe although I may not frequent this one much since it's out of my way..

Yelp
Going downhill fast!! Unclean, rude workers, def an employee on drugs. Everything is extremely greasy & tastes like the grill, grease isn't clean. Workers on grill don't put their hair back. Used to love this location, but I won't be going there anymore.

Keri P.

Yelp
Went last night for a couple burgers and it was pretty busy. Have to say the manager there is top notch and totally deserves a raise and appreciation by the owners. He completely had it together, letting us know it could be a 15-20 minute wait for our food before we ordered, but it really didn't even take that long. We sat outside because most of the tables were full inside when we got there, but when he brought us our food, he let us know there were clean tables inside if we wanted to move inside. Then after we finished, he happened to be outside and asked us how our food was. He was great! Now days its so hard to find good customer service and this guy was completely on it, even when it was busy.

Yelp
I'm usually satisfied with Teddy's, but unfortunately today, I wasn't. I asked for my burger medium rare, but I got it looking very rare (see picture). Also, my fries and tater tots were disappointingly soggy. So, I'm not so happy about my order- especially for the price. :(

L L.

Yelp
Service sucks 1 sandwich took 30 minutes to make Wait time is Super long if hungry Dont eat here you will starve since Wait is long for food.

Miles U.

Yelp
The food, and service were good, but definitely not worth the price. We were charged five dollars each for just choosing a combo. We ordered two combo meals, and two shakes. Our total came out to $68.93!!... RIDICULOUS!!

Jennel S.

Yelp
Commenting on the service provided by the Kaneohe location, manager Ronz. Super helpful, patient and understanding. I had an issue with my payment and Ronz was helpful over the phone and in person. I made a mistake on my part and Ronz was gracious through the entire process. Customer service is such a critical component of business and I was very pleased and grateful that Ronz delivered exceptional customer service. Mahalo Teddys Kaneohe and Ronz, and their GM Brenda for helping (on her day off too!). Burgers and fries were 'Ono! Also, stoked the Turkey burger has made it back to the menu.

Yelp
Possibly some of the best Tator Tots I've ever had. Definitely well seasoned and very crunchy. I was actually suprised by how good these Tator Tots were. The Kilauea Fire burger was great. I very much enjoyed this burger. The employee warned me that this burger had a kick to it, but the "kick" was not at all spicy to me. Maybe a bit too spicy for a kid, but nothing a normal adult would need to stay away from. Finally the Mini Haupia Shake was a good choice. Not at all overly sweet. A very subtle coconut flavor. I really enjoyed my meal here.
google avatar

Val H.

Yelp
I was craving for hamburgers so we stopped at Teddy's. I ordered the Kailua burger combo meal. It's a teriburger with grilled mushrooms & onions, Swiss cheese, and all the toppings lettuce, tomato and sauces. I also ordered it medium cooked but it seemed to be medium rare. The burger tasted fine but it was loaded with thickly sliced onions which were a little too much for me. The French fries were delicious. If you want to eat a tasty burger this is definitely the one but be prepared it's a very messy burger to eat.
google avatar

Sabine M.

Yelp
Grilled Garlic Chicken Sandwich and Grilled Garlic Chicken Salad w/balsamic dressing so DELICIOUS!!!! Would definitely order again. Ordered via Door Dash delivery. Thank you Dasher NATASHA!!!
google avatar

Reyna A.

Yelp
Walked in and without being welcomed, was asked if we were picking up a phone order. I basically did the cashier's job by asking my husband and son if they wanted 1/3, 1/2 or 1 lb, how they wanted their burger done and if they wanted fries & a drink. My sweet potato fries are burnt, very disappointing. I would've expected friendlier service and better quality of food for $54. Please increase friendliness and quality for the high prices.
google avatar

Craig T.

Yelp
Lost 1 star below average because started out at the counter . The cashier didn't help me right away he was finishing up a take out order so I had to wait about 3 minutes or so until he finished ringing it in the system. Than I ordered 2 Aiea burgers which consist of Swiss cheese, Bacon, and mushroom yummy huh. I ordered a combo which includes fries or tater tots and I drink. They ran out of tater tots What? A burger joint running out of tater tots I was looking forward having tater tots w/my meal. Also just a reminder it's a small location so there are not many inside seating. The burger was the only positive thing going it was very juicy and tasty. The price is a little high as well for 2 combo meals my bill was $31.00 . Also there was only 2 front people and one cook only. Maybe it's a Sunday slower day so less people on shift , but customer service could have been a little better plus if they haven't run out of tater tots maybe my outcome would have been better
google avatar

Rob B.

Yelp
I haven't been here in a very long time. I was excited to see that there is a smaller burger now called "The Son of a Burger." It looked nice but one bite and the bun was hugely SWEET and incredibly dense. The burger was nice size probably 1/4 pound but was unseasoned. The roll to bread ration was completely off. Veg was fresh and nice. Just not my type of burger. Try the Dailey burger for a smash burger or Chubbie's for a LAX 1950 style burger.

Yelp
Epic spot. The food is Fresh and the staff are friendly and on point.. big shout out to LEVI, Made my night. Highly recommended

Yelp
Real talk 2nd time here and my burger is straight fire !!! Juicy, beefy cooked to perfection.... Cooked medium... my good ness , staff pretty cool but that burger is better than seven brothers on North Shore no cap..... just need 20 for a good burger lol...

Yelp
This is the location to visit! Of all the locations I have been to, this is now my new favorite location. I wish I had a photo to show you, but it was so delicious that now the container is empty. I had ordered the Waikiki burger which comes with 1/3lbs patty (you can make it a double or triple patty if you wanted), lettuce, tomato, onion, cheddar cheese, bacon, a hash brown, and teriyaki sauce... BRUH! This burger was drenched in teriyaki sauce, and it was definitely a messy burger. One thing you should know is that a Teddy's burger, should not look pretty. This thing should be dripping with goodness, and the chef that assembled this together had definitely exceeded my expectations. When I eat this burger, to me, this was a Teddy's Bigger Burger. It's definitely one of the smaller locations, however, this burger tasted amazing today. Thank you, chef! Also, I ordered through the Teddy's Bigger Burger app. It does not accept Apple Pay just yet, but hopefully they will consider adding that feature. If there is one critical feedback I could provide, I would have wished that there was a Drive-Up option. I recently tore my ACL, and did not want to order through BiteSquad or Uber Eats. The Teddy's Bigger Burger app has way more options to choose from, and makes ordering your food so much easier than the third-party services. If there could just be the added service of a Drive-Up option where they bring the food to your parking stall, that would be game changer. Other than that, I literally called the location and asked that they be sure to let the chef know that I really appreciated the burger that they made. Thank you for making my day!

Yelp
Teddy's..............Why are you so pricy??? Ugh. Ok. But I keep coming back. Pros: Probably some of the best burgers around my kids love them. They have lettuce wrap options Salads too So many options available Also have poultry and fish options Real ice cream in their shakes You can order them on BiteSquad (currently-2019) You want fried things? They got em...fries, onion rings, tots. Cons: Soooooo expensive!!! Then you pay more for all the awesome options and toppings They can be a bit slow If I eat here I gain 10lbs (most likely an exaggeration) I keep bouncing between 3-4 stars but I think the price point is too steep for 4........3.5? The service is hit or miss too, sometimes really awesome and other times super not awesome. Bottom line: I will keep going and ordering for delivery. And I'll keep getting shakes to keep the junk in the trunk loaded.

Martin L.

Yelp
So disappointed....definitely NOT like the owner envisioned. Ordered a single burger with bacon/lettuce/cheese...pickles on the side..and an order of onion rings. The burger had a clump of fried onions on it...no lettuce, no pickles and a small bit of bacon...and the burger was nothing to write home about. The onion rings were burnt, burnt, burnt...and the ones I could eat were so greasy - definitely need to change the cooking oil. For $22 with tip should have gone elsewhere. Will think twice before going again.

Yelp
An update for TBB's: 1. Ordering with the app. Convenient and fast. Just pick up your order because it is paid via the app too. I love it. Just be aware that they will start cooking the order immediately. If you wait an hour it will be cold. 2. Beyond Burger: Their regular veggie burger is good. But it is not technically vegan. The 'Beyond Burger' is vegan and it is excellent. Teddy's has maintained its quality over the years and now has the Beyond Burger for $9.99. There is often a surcharge for this sort of meatless burger. This is a fair price. Great app ordering experience. Still great burgers, shakes, and fries.

Yelp
Teddy's Bigger Burger has become the stopping grounds for my wife and I if we want a burger that is hands down classic. The beef patty is ordered to size and temperature of your liking. It's always juicy even at well done. There are many choices on how you would like your burger decked out; from spicy, barbecue, and just plain ol- beef. Flavors of all of their choices are done right and not too overdone. The only thing if I had to nit pick would be the bun they use. The bun seems that it could easily be found at any grocery store hence nothing special about it. The spicy fries is by far the best I've had on Oahu. But yes, I still add ketchup. Rofl.
google avatar

Janine L.

Yelp
Disappointed they didn't have sweet potato fries. The number one reason I went into Teddy's Bigger Burgers Kaneohe. However, I did get an umami fries and wasn't as good but was good. It had saracha (spicy), furukaki seasoning, and garlic butter melted. The garlic isn't minced it's just an oil they use. At the bottom of the fries tons of oil butter. :( The location is convenient. And it was clean. Easy to order. Friendly costumer service from teenagers. Mahalo Teddy's for something new and something different.
google avatar

Shirley A.

Yelp
I ordered a salad with chicken and avocado. The chicken was over cooked very dry and the lettuce and cucumbers look like they had freezer burn. I can't believe someone would use lettuce and cucumbers that are obviously bad. I paid $16.00 for this terrible meal. Probably should be zero stars.

Yelp
When people on the mainland find out that Hawaii has no In-N-Out Burger, Smashburger, The Habit, and Shake Shack, they ask where we get our hamburgers from... hahaha! Besides McDonalds, Burger King, and Jack in the Box, the island of Oahu just got a Johnny Rockets in Pearl City and a Five Guys in Mililani. There's also The Counter in Kahala; and Burgers and Things in Pauoa. Kaneohe, Kailua, Kapolei, Wahiawa, Haleiwa, Ewa Beach, Aiea, and Honolulu have Teddy's Bigger Burgers. That's 11 locations on Oahu and 2 on Maui! There are also 6 on the mainland, one in Japan, one in Thailand, and 2 in the Philippines! I didn't know that they were so popular! Yesterday, I kinda felt self-destructive, so I broke down, went to the Kaneohe Bay Shopping Center location and got TWO Burgers - The Greek and The Kaneohe. I tried the Greek first - big mistake. It was so GOOD and flavorful! I had to force myself to stop and try the Kaneohe Burger. It had bacon, cheddar, and avocado which was okay, but nothing in comparison to the Red Wine Vinaigrette and Feta Cheese of the Greek! Plus, the Greek had fresh cucumbers and onions - wow! AND, their Special Sauce has a slight kick to it - bam! One of the main reasons for not eating here is maybe the price. There are three sizes: Big ($6.99 for 1/3 pound), Bigger ($8.29 for 1/2 pound), and Biggest ($12.99 for 1 pound). The Greek and Kaneohe are specialty burgers, so $1.90 was added to the Greek and $3.90 for the Kaneohe. These are supposed to be quality burgers with less gristle. I could taste the smoky flavor and I liked the texture and moist patty, but I still found a small bone chip and a bit of gristle. I cut both burgers open and the pinkness would be a turn off for my sister who likes her food more well-done. I was able to eat it because I was really hungry! It tasted better when it was a hotter temperature and I'm glad I ate it at home because they were juicy and messy. I really needed a sink nearby! I'd go back for the Greek Burger and maybe try the Nom Nom Burger which has Swiss Cheese, Bacon & Grilled Onions. I'd rather do take out... or if I dined in, I would need a lot of napkins!

After being "riced out" we switched it up and had burgers. Burgers were solid but on the pricier side. Fries were amazing, especially the Cajun fries

Yelp
Came in for takeout. People who work here really hate their job. No smiles. No welcome. No pleasantries at all. It's like the customer Is bothering them. Sad.
