Such a beautiful and historical mosque in Antalya. It takes its name by the minister Mehmet Pasha. Located near the Old Town. It’s more than 400 years ago. Of course free entry. It resembles the interior design of Aya Sophia in Istanbul.

A very nice recitation by the imam. The mosque is historic and a decent size. There are separate wudu facilities for men and women in the courtyard. Jasmine flowers are planted near the mosque entrance, giving off a wonderful scent. Women can pray upstairs. The old stone structure is quite imposing, and the mosque has a grand feel both inside and out.

The most beautiful thing about Turkey is the ability to pray whilst you are out - this mosque has a women's facility upstairs, and a wudhu area/toilets outside. There are always cute cats around, and the architecture of the mosque is magnificent.

Built in the 18th century and named after the Ottoman Grand Vizier(Prime minister), "Tekeli Mehmet Paşa Mosque" is one of the most important Ottoman mosques in the port city of Antalya. The mosque has a central dome with 6 semi domes around it. Tekeli Mehmet Pasa mosque is located just behind Antalya's well known clock tower at the entrance to Kaleici (old town).

A really nice restored mosque

Went there to say Juma'a prayers. Alhamdulillah, beautiful clean mosque. Airconditioning in front rows was not effective but did not matter as I only stayed for the jama'a.

I’m amazed at how the smallest of mosques in Turkey are so beautiful from the inside.
