Very diverse movies and they always have themed festivals. Having Hebrew and English subtitles is amazing. Comfortable chairs for watching a movie too! Cute coffee shop too, you can also sit outside and enjoy. Not their problem but not enough bicycle parking

Good place in the center of the city to watch independent films and festivals. Was here on a student film festival and enjoyed my time here! Cool spot to watch something different and not mainstream

The yearly DocAviv film festival is ending soon but the Tel Aviv Cinematheque will continue to serve as one of the best places to watch unique, inspiring and thought provoking documentaries and other kinds of films in the center of Tel Aviv. Lots of parking very close by and great atmosphere all around.

There are excellent films, and there is a pleasant atmosphere - you can get a nice cup of coffee and sit inside or in front of the cinemateque.

My exhibit was censured. My name removed. My property harmed. It's a shame the city of Tel Aviv behaves like this. The exhibit was about the systematic use of contact centers (מרכזי קשר) by the state of Israel. It illustrated the horror that the thousands of children have to go through each year after vein systematically cut off their fathers in the state off Israel and particularly in Tel Aviv. As a form of engaged art the exhibition was censored since the city of tel aviv provides funding for the cinémathèque and also runs a contact center where about a thousand children are forced to see their dad in a cage. That cage is next to gan meir and the gay center. It has an armed guard and wire on shuttered windows. Video cameras and separate entrances for the women who bring the children and the men who go see them in the cage.
