Had a great time here.. room is clean.. service is excellent. 👌 Cafe and restaurant available.. Nearby walking distance to town.. Easy parking, 🅿️ Behind got 2 local restaurants..

I spent 5 nights here and I was satisfied with what we paid. The hotel is a bit old, but I really liked the aboriginal design and the quiet surroundings. It's within walking distance to the town and most of the city's historical tourist buildings, and there's easy access to restaurants and bars. Every morning I woke up to a greenery view. The hotel restaurant provides delicious local food, the staff is friendly, and they respond quickly. I would definitely love to visit here again.

One of the recommended hotels to stay at in Kuching, Sarawak. The price of this hotel is affordable. The breakfast provided is very adequate for the price paid. The location is close to the Kuching waterfront, and you can simply walk to Chinatown and the waterfront.

Booking comes with breakfast, at our request (because we need to go out early), the hotel even packed the breakfast for us to take away. This is a plus point.However the room is quite small, bedsheet has a funny scent. Had to ask front desk to change the bedsheet for me after the first night. However the changed bedsheet still had an unpleasant scent. Probably because of the laundry side. Generally good except for the bedsheet issue.

Stayed for 2 nights at Telang Usan. The exterior design of this hotel is good, it looks nice and has this Dayak's ethnic concept. I'm sure local would feel welcomed and warmed by this place. There's a restaurant connected to the hotel; The Lamin. Price range for the foods starts from 15MYR and above. I don't see any convenience store nearby so it's hard for people who likes midnight snacks, there are a lot of seafood restaurants nearby though. Mostly steamboat restaurants. Halal. Let's talk about the room where you need to lower your expectations. The smells of the room is dusty and musty. I will give 2/5 for cleanliness of the room. The bathtub/toilet has some moldy parts. I spotted a few "Household case bearer", proves enough the room is uncleaned. Hope to see improvement of this hotel management especially for hygiene parts. It has potential to go further.

I saw many reviews complaining about the "old" hotel but I decided to give it a try. The room we stayed has very big windows looking out to a green area. The room is not new, but it is very clean and neat. Everything in the room is functional (fridge, water kettle, air conditioner, hot water, all are good). That helps us relax after a day of touring the city. Their restaurant is clean, serves good food and a variety of food. There are 2 areas in the restaurant, the sidewalk to give you relaxing space (with aircon) to enjoy coffee and work, and the restaurant inside with spacious tables. Both areas are good, and I like the elegance of the space. The room we stay is clean, is made up every day and it is spacious enough for us to rest. We don't have breakfast here so I can't say anything about the breakfast. Outside the hotel, just walking distance, there is a famous steamboat BBQ restaurants, a western food court with reasonable price, and a Malay restaurant. The hotel itself has a good halal restaurant. So you don't need to go anywhere far for food. The nearby area is all green space, with big trees and birds singing. No karaoke, no noise, no bar. It is very relaxing to walk around.

An Old but quite well maintained hotel. Simple set menu breakfast provided with the room at very reasonable rates. However cleanliness can be better as small ants can be seen crawling even unto the bed. Overall stay is average.
