Telemachos Athens - Awarded meat & wine restaurant

I’ve been at Tilemahos at Kifissia many times but it was my first time visiting Tilemahos at Syntagma. This restaurant has a reputation for amazing meat at a normal price. The place is very pretty and cozy yet elegant. I have no words for the service, possibly the best I’ve had, everyone was super friendly, helpful and well informed in order to offer recommendations. Overall I would say the overall experience was very good!

⭐ An unforgettable experience at Telemachos Athens! ⭐ From the very beginning and throughout the entire evening, Giorgios and the entire team made us feel incredibly welcomed, cared for, and truly special. Their warmth, attention to detail, and kindness are rare qualities that made the night truly stand out. I’ve dined at many restaurants over the years, but this was one of the few places where I genuinely felt like a valued guest, not just another visitor. We were generously treated to several complimentary dishes and every single one was outstanding. We started with a beautifully delicate beef carpaccio, followed by my first ever tartare, which completely won me over. Then came the rich and comforting pasta with beef short ribs, and we were further spoiled with house made sausage, a tender beef fillet, and an absolutely delicious Spanish steak. One of the biggest surprises was a dish I normally wouldn’t choose: rotisserie lamb, offered by the house. I’m usually not a fan of lamb but this one was cooked to perfection and changed my mind completely. Truly exceptional. Everything was beautifully accompanied by a glass of perfect red wine, and to finish off the evening, we had ice cream! But not just any ice cream. It came topped with a homemade forest fruit sos that was simply divine. I’m not easily impressed by desserts, especially ice cream, but this one was on another level. 💛 I truly felt like a special guest, and I’m so grateful for this experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Telemachos Athens! not only for the outstanding food, but especially for the genuine hospitality and kindness of the people behind it. I’ll absolutely be back!😊

Amazing, amazing , amazing . I have traveled the world and some of the best lamb and meats I have ever tasted in my entire life. The ambiance is nice and the staff was incredibly kind, especially the chef Giorgos. Everything was complemented by a lovely glass of red wine, and we ended our meal with homemade ice cream topped with a divine forest fruit sauce, the perfect sweet finish. I would say this is the best meat I have ever eaten. The staff were super friendly and they treat us the leaver and the carpaccio ! If you are a meat lover this is the place to go !
