This place is amazing. Tom and the crew are top notch and so willing to help. It’s the ideal local music store that so many communities have lost, but they’re also extremely skilled at shipping anywhere you need them to. Check them out!!

I purchased a pedal from them via reverb and had a solid experience. The price was right, they got it shipped quickly, and even added a few goodies along with a personalized note on the invoice. Thank you Warren and Tom.

See photo evidence below. Purchased some strings from this company on Reverb. Shipping was delayed by weather and holiday. I used Reverb tools available to me and questioned the delays but they always promptly replied. I feared the mail had lost them at one point because the tracking on my end showed they were never picked up. Ultimately Telluride was correct and the strings arrived albeit late per the 3-5 day window not including the Holiday. It arrived in 6 days. I left a 4 out of 5 star review stating simply that the shipping was a little slow and in the same message commending them for the string quality and good communication. Obviously offended at the thought of a 4 out of 5 star rating they retaliated with a 4 star rating back to me accusing me of complaining. In reality they are just petty and salty because of didn’t leave a 5 star review. I paid same day and the fact is the strings were LATE!!! Additionally, I am fully aware the shipping was not directly their fault and never indicated in my review that it was. So after I left my honest customer based review of the entire transaction they chose to give me a 4 star review for being a concerned customer that an item they shipped may be lost??? So for this reason I believe they get a 2 star rating simply for being a couple of petty pricks. Have a great day and thank you again for the strings. They sound great!!

Popped in as a music lover/tourist. The two gentlemen working the shop were super easy going and helpful. Beautiful instruments and merch. Will be repping Telluride Music Co on my hat and water bottle!

Stopped into this awesome little shop while visiting Telluride from AZ. They have a cool selection of stuff and a super friendly and inviting staff. I ended up walking out with a Jazzmaster which I am very happy with, he even threw in his own gig bag because there wasn't one in stock that was the correct size. All in all I highly recommend stopping by, you won't regret it.

The mom and pop, small boutique music store seems to be dwindling in the US, which is what makes Telluride Music Company such a rare gem and an absolute must to visit and support. It is principally a guitar shop with an excellent variety of both electric and acoustic guitars, all top brands and qualities, with selections from beginner models to professional and vintage. There are also a decent assortment of quality mandolins, ukes, and banjos. They have guitar/string instrument accoutrements, too - straps, picks, strings, effects pedals, etc. And Tom the owner/manager is an excellent, gigging musician with an encyclopedia's worth of knowledge about guitars. Telluride Music Company is a must visit while in Telluride.

Best Music Store in the World! I’ve been buying my musician father birthday and Father’s Day gifts here for years. Warren and Tom always have great recommendations and products. Recently, they just shipped out a package for him when I couldn’t make it to the shop. It was so easy and convenient. Thank you guys for all that you do! 🎶♥️🪕🎸

I recently purchased a used NS Design upright bass online from the Telluride Music Co. They had the instrument out the door and to me immediately. Everything was in fantastic condition, but the instrument did not have the charger for the active pickup. I reached out to Tom and he ordered one and had the charger delivered within a few days. I really appreciate the care, attention, and follow through they showed to make certain I had everything that I needed to play!
