Telly's Grill

Doesn’t look like much from the outside but it was full with locals when we went in. It was so busy we had to have a drink at the bar while we waited for a table. The original owner met us at the door and was very welcoming. Great atmosphere with friendly staff. The food was excellent in both presentation and quality and quantity. Highly recommend if you are in Smithers looking for a good sit down meal.

Ordered a Bacon cheese skirt burger with fries from Telly's after a long overnight hike in babine provincial park. The first thing my partner and I noticed was that the fries and burger were very salty. While the flavors were good from both the fries and burger, the salt was overpowering and offputting. The patty was a bit tough but overall decent. Flavor of the fries were great (minus the salt) and they had a great crunch. The burger had a tangy delicious BBQ sauce taste with nice crispy flavorful bacon. Price was high for a single burger and fries in my opinion at $25+ . If I was in Smithers again I would look at other options on the menu online but may pass this place up if nothing else caught my eye.

Telly's Grill in Smithers, BC was the perfect spot for my birthday dinner with my wife! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the food was fantastic with generous portions, and the prices were very reasonable! Our servers were friendly and attentive, making the evening even more enjoyable. We also loved the great selection of local craft beer on tap, which added a nice touch! Highly recommend Telly’s for a delicious meal and great experience!

Stopped here for dinner on our way through Smithers. Special was the prime rib with mashed potatoes and Yorkshire pudding. It was cooked to perfection. First time I've actually enjoyed prime rib out. Our waitress was Tracey and she was a joy. Bubbly and made us feel very comfortable for being out of towners. I requested a change of alcohol to one of the cocktails which she accommodated and it was a very good drink. Highly recommend this place.

Had an amazing lasagne. Really good service and motivated personel that makes you feel welcome. Would recommend this place to everyone when visiting Smithers.

Interesting menu, with lots of options. Shared the lasagna with my wife, based on a review. She liked it, though I thought it was a bit bland. Great service, with a selection of local beers.

Decided to go to Telly's as we read some good reviews about the food online. I ordered the Chicken souvlaki which was very delicious and my husband had the Phatty chicken burger and he very much enjoyed his. Gave service and atmosphere 4 stars as they forgot my pita bread for my meal (which i eventually had to ask for) and when were first arrived we weren't greeted very well because we didnt have a reservation. We were then seated at a table to the side by the door which felt segregated from the real atmosphere of the place.

Average looking place on the outside and the inside...BUT...the food selection and quality and quantity is unbelievable!!! Service was also fantastic!!! Highly recommend the 6 hour braised beef with lemon roasted potatoes

We had an amazing meal with great customer service! Our waitress was a lovely lady with a welcoming smile. I can't removed her name but she has a 16 month old name Kellen! Thank you!

Stopped in for lunch, so-so at best. Decor, only one server, long wait for food, loud and obnoxious clientele.

A cute gem of a restaurant with tasty food and a friendly atmosphere. Great service and the hot chicken Caesar salad is amazing. They also have awesome apple pie - mmm. This place fulfills Smithers' need for variety when it comes to restaurants.

Great food, great service. Decor is simple and modern. Portions are large and cosmos were yummy

The food is great, the people are very friendly, we've never been disappointed with the service. Good variety of options and the specials are good too. Our favourite place to eat.
