Tembo Beach Club & Resort

We had a wonderful one night stay in the Riad Suite at Tembo which boasted a HUGE bathroom! The service here was definitely on par with many 5 star hotels in Europe if not more. Highly impressed by the staff’s (particularly the reception staff) attention to detail, always going above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable. We had lunch in the hotel the first day and were pretty impressed. General vibe is pretty chill - private beach access from pool was a fantastic spot to enjoy sunsets with drinks. Recommended!

We had a wonderful stay for 7 nights at Tembo Beach Club & Resort. The location is great - beautiful beach, unaffected by airport, noisy bars & tourist spots & a short drive to places like Fisherman’s Village & Chaweng. The resort is stunning with modern & coastal vibes. Everything was always clean & beautifully presented. The staff are lovely & were always attentive. We were especially grateful to the resort going the extra mile when they provided us with an extra table in our room to serve as a desk while my partner worked in the early hours of the morning & to the staff for singing happy birthday to me with cake & candles - I felt very special. Thank you Tembo, we enjoyed our stay very much & would definitely return!

Had a perfect week staying at Tembo. It manages to combine glamourous surroundings with a friendly and welcoming family atmosphere. |Wonderful beach club in a great location - 5 min drive from Fisherman’s Village. Greeted with a mango sorbet on arrival, which was very welcome! Service was consistently excellent and friendly. |Our room - Rhiad suite - was gorgeous snd a great solution for a family with 3 older children as it has 3 adjoining rooms. |Breakfasts were a real treat every day -pancakes especially good! |Food around the pool excellent and reasonably priced. We also ate in the restaurant, which was excellent. |We loved happy hour cocktails too! |Has a fabulous on-site clothing store which sells high quality dresses and accessories etc. |staff. |Highly recommended and would love to return.

A must stay at hotel if you ever visit Koh Samui. This place is exceptional. Beautiful decor and set up. If I’m correct no more than 10 ions. It feels like your own beachfront home.|Great variety of food, cocktails and well stocked bar.|The staff are amazing especially KowFeng she made my stay even greater and extremely helpful. There is another lady a the gift shop who is also very helpful. Restaurant and bar here again amazing people.|Met the owner Susan who is a phenomenal woman who has decorated the resort with exquisite taste. |Loved it so much here that I canceled my flight back to Bangkok twice.|Thank you for making my stay absolutely memorable. Will be back soon.

I’ve been to Tembo a few times now and it’s always a great experience. The place is beautiful — right on the beach, really chill vibe, no loud parties, just a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the view. The food is really good too.||What stood out this time was the staff — they were honestly amazing. I accidentally left my key in my motorbike and the battery died. The staff went out of their way to help me and even took the bike to a nearby repair shop. I was so impressed and super grateful. Special thanks to Nong, Lip & Golf 🙏🏻🤍||Tembo is definitely one of my favorite spots in Koh Samui. Highly recommend!

What a gem. A beautiful serene yet fun place to stay in Kho Samui. Room that just feel right for the place and pool area that is just out of this world with different DJ’s different days. Sound is right. The food is delicious to say the least. The staff are amazing and very attentive. Special thank you Khao Phang (sorry about spelling) at the reception and Paew at the pool service. They always greet you with a smile and will to go the extra mile to help. Will miss this place and definitely coming back. ||Tinos Yohannes

We didn't stay at the hotel, we just went for lunch, but we loved the place. It's a very nice and well-maintained resort. The food is good, and they offer innovative and different dishes! There's a DJ in the pool area, without excessive noise (just good music). We were there during lunchtime, no idea what it looks like in the evening. The service was attentive, too; we really liked it overall! Super Recommended!!!

We stayed at Tembo in The Rhiad suite last week. This is one of the nicest boutique hotels in Samui. The owners have a strong background working for many high end chains and it shows throughout! The attention to detail in the decor is incredible, the food is great and the staff exceptional. And as another reviewer previously posted, the whole place smells divine. Direct access to the beach and fantastic cocktails, what's not too love.
