Templar completed a level 3 asbestos abatement from the ceiling and walls of our basement. It was a big job and we are very happy with the result. We are repeat customers are Templar previously removed asbestos wrap from the ducts in our attic. Needless to say, we would highly recommend them.

What started as ceiling asbestos removal (which is already not small) snowballed really quickly into a much bigger job requiring us to move out. Thankfully it turns out they do renovations too, which for this situation is amazing because coordinating another company to come in and re-build what was demolished would have been hard to coordinate, and would have kept us out of the house even longer. Having one team do the whole job end-to-end is a huge plus. My wife was 7 months pregnant at the time, so there was huge risk it wouldn’t be done before she was due. Final specs of the job: -Remove 3 full ceilings and half a wall of old asbestos-ridden plaster -Demo a leaky master shower, and mold removal as applicable -Demo second washroom floor tile, and mold removal as applicable -Demo old wooden sauna, and mold removal as applicable -Rebuild everything: master shower, second washroom floor tile, all ceilings and walls and paint -Finish most the basement, which had been torn up from a recent flood….cement leveling, flooring, some insulation and drywall and paint That seems like a lot of work. And they said they would do it in 2.5 weeks. And they did. They started the exact day I wanted them to start, and finished exactly 2.5 weeks later. 2.5 weeks! The whole experience from multiple initial consults with Robert to working with Gerard and his guys Alan and Roger was a great experience. These are some solid guys who just want to do a really good job. The quality of the work (from what I can tell) is high, done fast and on time, at a cost that was perfectly fair. You almost never get all three without compromise. Templar as a company right now is perfectly scaled. The two co-founders are hands-on enough to manage and schedule their team’s work effectively, but it’s not so big as there is a lot of extra staff and overhead costs that are then passed on to the consumer. It was an amazing experience overall. I took a huge risk with them and it paid off. Would definitely recommend, especially for larger jobs like mine. All the best to team Templar!

My real estate agents recommended Templar Environmental Services mold remediation in the basement of my 100 year old home. Robert came out into the thorough evaluation and provided me with an estimate that had a breakdown of all the work that would be required. A few days before the mold remediation was due to take place. Gerrard contacted me to review everything and confirm the date and time for the mould radiation. Joe and his crew showed up to do the mould remediation on time. Joe and his crew were Excellent! They came into some issues while doing the work immediately I was contacted by Gerrard to make a plan. They finished on time and left my house nice and tidy. I was provided with a mould remediation certificate when the work was completed. I highly recommend Templar Environmental services.

I recently hired Templar to remove the popcorn ceiling in the basement that contained asbestos and the panelling on the walls. The demolition and removal followed a strict protocol to ensure the area was safe and clean. Robert, Gerard and the entire team did a fabulous job from start to finish. The basement was left spotless. I would highly recommend Templar for any asbestos issues!

Needed to renovate half of my upstairs (2 bedrooms and a bathroom), as there was asbestos in the drywall, ceiling (popcorn) and bathroom (walls and floor tiles). Received quotes from a few companies, and no one was more professional or thorough that Robert and Templar. Provided a very detailed quote with a breakdown of all the costs, and provided some great perspectives on how to minimize disruptions and costs. Had to get my attic insulation redone as well, as most of the ceiling was being removed. After that was done Robert's team found lots of mould. He provided pictures and guidance on how to proceed and was able to have it abated very quickly and and a good price. Will be doing more projects in the future and Robert and Templar will be my first and only call to deal with any asbestos/mould.
