An Exceptional Experience – Truly One of a Kind in Siem Reap We stayed at The Templation Angkor from January 6–8 in a 3-Bedroom Pool Villa, and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience. The resort is beautifully located in the centre of Siem Reap, making it easy to access the airport, Angkor temples, Pub Street restaurants, Phare Cambodian Circus, Tonle Sap Lake and many other local attractions, yet once inside, it feels like a peaceful private sanctuary. What makes Templation truly special is its nature-inspired design. The architecture seamlessly blends open living with tropical surroundings, creating a calm, naturistic ambience that instantly brings quietness and deep relaxation. It’s the perfect place to relax, reset and revive. Templation’s restaurant, Gusto, located adjacent to what is probably the largest swimming pool in Siem Reap, offered excellent choices of local and Western breakfast, along with delicious Western, Asian and authentic Khmer (pronounced “Kamai”) cuisine throughout our stay. The spa experience, especially the Khmer rejuvenation treatments, was top-notch and incredibly refreshing. The resort team also went above and beyond in arranging tour guides, tickets and transportation, allowing us to fully enjoy each excursion while still allocating ample time to relax and enjoy the resort facilities. Most impressive of all was the service. Every single staff member we encountered was courteous, helpful and clearly trained to anticipate guests’ needs. The warmth and professionalism of the team truly elevated the entire experience. Well done to Somonea Cheng (Manager), the outstanding Resort Team and Management for delivering such a unique and thoughtfully executed concept for a reasonable price. We genuinely enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Templation Angkor to anyone planning a Siem Reap holiday. We certainly plan to return soon!

We spent five days as guests at Templation Siem Reap.||The rooms were immaculate, with staff cleaning and checking them twice daily. The beds and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, dressed in high-quality cotton sheets. Guests received a full turn-down service each evening. All power points accommodate multi-region plugs, so adaptors weren't necessary.||I was initially hesitant to book with Templation given the abundance of cheaper accommodation options, but the quality of service elevated our stay from mere lodging into an almost meditative retreat. Having a private pool in the tropics is virtually unheard of, and the main pool is truly beautiful. I shall spend a long time reflecting on those mornings taking coffee poolside at dawn, listening to the sounds of the jungle and watching squirrels dart across the overhead canopy.||I'm certain the kitchen staff have French classical training. Whilst Siem Reap offers no shortage of excellent dining establishments, if you're truly seeking to unwind, the meals and cocktails on-site are faultless. We typically found that taking a tuk-tuk for sightseeing in the mornings left afternoons free for swimming and perhaps the spa, with dinner at Templation providing the perfect end to a genuinely relaxing day. You could easily spend weeks following this routine and barely scratch the surface of everything the area has to offer.||All the staff are genuinely lovely people, and before our stay I would never have imagined that Buddhist concepts of compassion and kindness towards all creatures could be so beautifully woven into the hospitality experience. Templation has a lounge with an expansive view overlooking an enclosure where guinea pigs, rabbits, and tortoises eat and play, and occasionally two of the most beautiful, shy cats make their presence known. In hindsight, that touch of compassion was as integral to our experience of unwinding and recharging as the refinement and natural setting.||We could not have hoped for a better experience and we can't wait to return.

We visited Templation for 4 nights in Siem Reap. The location was about 5 minutes from the downtown area by tuk tuk. This ended up being perfect for us. It was close to the temples, quiet, and the rides into town were cheap and plentiful. The resort itself is a haven. The architecture, landscape, and design are exceptional. It felt as if you were alone in the resort when in your room. We booked a jungaloo and it was so clean and relaxing. The private backyard and pool were such a great touch. We spent a whole day at the hotel just enjoying our room. The breakfast is 5 star, a la carte, and very high quality. They have a guinea pig and rabbit garden as well! It was so cute and you can tell they take such good care of their animals. We were blown away by the service. Everyone from the restaurant, to the front desk, to the housekeeping staff, were so helpful, friendly, and respectful. I cannot say enough about this resort. I have travelled a lot, but this was my favorite stay of any accommodation. I will dream about it for years to come. Please do yourself a favor and book this hotel!

Stayed in a Jungloo and it was immaculate. The entire Templation property is gigantic. Every angle of the pool area, covered deck, and restaurant are top tier and we could have spent days enjoying them. The staff is always available and treat you like royalty. After we checked out, they let us use a spa room shower which was very kind. They can easily coordinate any tours you want and airport transportation. There was even a friendly old tortoise who hangs out in one of the gardens. After learning so much about Angkor we definitely plan to come back and stay here again.

I have never stayed in the rooms, so I must be honest and provide zero stars. But I wish there was a line of stars for the quality of their breakfast – or more specifically the bakery. I have had many dull spongy croissant in my life. Mainly in Australia where it appears size is king. If only size could be beheaded and replaced by a new Republic that supports small and flaky, crisp and warm. Temptations is the crowning jewel. Six stars for their breakfast.

What a fantastic place. Just a short ride from the chaos of SR. Everything here was fantastic. An amazing room that was kept incredibly clean. Very attentive and friendly staff. Wonderful breakfast and service. One of the better places we’ve stayed

Our tour guide Mr. Sothea made the Angkor tour special. I could have spent days learning about the history of Cambodia with him. Templation is flawless, between the immaculate (and huge) estate and attentiveness of every staff member. I was blown away by the fine details of this place. Staying in a Jungloo was 100% clean and made the experience even more memorable.
