Really lovely cafe with a great view. Great to see a vegan cake option and dairy alternative milk. It would be good to have clearer prices displayed for drinks, I was £8.50 for an oat cappuccino and cinnamon bun which was a wee bit more than I expected.
Owners were super friendly and also told of the story behind Wild Eve alcohol free spirit in the shop, and allowed a small sample - I'd definitely recommend for a grown up drink. Some great groceries items also in store.

Amazing place for coffee. Such a beautiful setting and perfect end to our walk. Love everything about it from the small quaint building to the hens in the yard. They also sell a few postcards and local fare. Very friendly little place wish we’d had longer.

Absolutely the best coffee on Harris (at least of the places we visited), in a beautiful modern building referencing the traditional materials and organic shapes, with outstanding views. Plenty of parking. Outside sitting areas under roof. Comfortable sitting indoors with a view. Seriously tasty cake (we tried fruity flapjack). Great own blend Earl Grey (and other teas we have not tried). They also serve a local botanicals blend Wild Eve, recommended too.
The shop/deli part makes sense to take advantage of the passing trade, and might be useful to some people who want a savoury rather than sweet snack.
The lady behind the till could be minimally more friendly, but we all get bad days and I choose to believe she's a shining ray of sunshine normally.
All in all, a gem of a place in a great location, and well worth seeking out on purpose and most definitely popping in on the way to the Northon beach or when picking up goodies from the nearby Croft 36. Don't forget to look for an info panel on William MacGillivray, on the serving counter side under the coffee machine, it's fascinating.

This has to be the best cafe on planet earth. Amazingly good coffee with superb selection of morning pastries. Want more? Then take for food and drink outside and enjoy the stunning landscape. Good parking easy to find. Friendly and welcoming staff. If I had to work- it would be here. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Pretty disappointed in my visit today. Walked in not feeling very welcomed. No coffee menu so I went with a basic latte that cost I think 4.50 or something like that. Was able to use their restroom so I guess it was worth the stop, but the coffee was definitely not worth the money in my opinion. Better to go somewhere else if another option is available.

Great place
1 minor point
No apparent heating
A few cyclists came in
Soaked through
But no heating as far as I could make out
They were Chittering
This is the only point for improvement
No other issues
