Astonishing ruins of a temple of Diana in the middle of the city center. Well preserved, well looked after, well fitting into the whole scape of the city. Definitely one of the musts visiting Évora.

The temple was built in the firts half of first century CE as part of the Ebora Liberalitas Julia forum and probably as part of the Emperor cult in those days and not dedicated ti Diana. It is well visible from all sides and at night it is lit

Beautiful Roman temple ruins built back in the 1st century. Easy to walk to / from Evora town centre or from bus terminal. Nearby garden worth a visit to chill or stay cool in the shade in a hot day. No need to buy tickets. Free. Nearby shops and restaurants as well. Recommended

A must see when you are in Évora. From the start of the 1st century AD. Open to everyone passing by. No tickets since it is outside for all to see.

Very iconic but, in total honesty, not much is left of it. Can't match other Roman ruins of bigger dimension and better preserved. Still, a powerful landmark in a lovely ancient city.

Absolutely breathtaking! To be able to feel as though you with history in a single moment. Our family were the only people there to be in that moment.... with that history.... Absolutely incredible! Yes, I know I look like a dork. But it's better than the emotional pic I had a few minutes later.

No tickets needed, in the middle of Evora next to the Duke's Palace, Convent and the Cathedral
